Introduction: Lizzie McGuire on The Go was a gameboy advance
game released by Disney Interactive in 2003. It is based
on the popular tv show character played by Hilary Duff.
The game is targeted to a preteen audience of 8-12 year
old girls and features both multiplayer and single player
options. The 'on the go' in the title refers to the built
in PDA system to help the busy girl plan her schedule, keep
track of her friends and start her day with a horoscope.
I. When Cheerleaders Attack
A. Character: You play as Lizzie's cartoon
alterego. Lizzie has blonde
hair, orange platform sandals,
blue capris and a purple tank
top
B. Location/Plot: Lizzie goes for a shopping
trip at her local shopping mall.
it seems to be a normal day at
the mall with Lizzie as she shops
for makeup, clothes, jewelry and music.
She even gets a bite of pizza to eat.
But for some reason the mall is full
of evil cheerleaders and pompoms
which are all out to hurt Lizzie. Shoot
the cheerleaders with your weapon, jump
on the pompoms to break them and
collect all the items on Lizzie's shopping
list. In each level you jump from platform
to platform and ride up and down escalator
to grab Lizzie's goods.
C.Weapon: Lizzie has a sparkle glitter shooter which temporarily
stuns the cheerleaders. When the cheerleaders
are stunned, Lizzie can walk by them without getting
hurt. If she tries to walk by them without stunning
them, then Lizzie will have to start the level over.
D. Modes: Timed Game: In a timed game, Lizzie must beat the
level before the time on her clock runs out.
If she runs out of time, Lizzie has to go
all the way back to level 1 and completely
start over. Beating timed levels is how
to unlock special games and friends activities
Practice Game: This has no timer so Lizzie can't lose
at the level but no games or activities are
unlocked from playing in practice mode.
E. Controls: A Jumps
B Shoots Weapon at cheerleaders
Arrows: Move
Start: Pause/Menu
F. Monsters: Cheerleaders - kill with weapon
Cheerleaders are recognizable by their
angry faces, red pigtails and mini
skirts
Purple/Yellow Pompoms:
These move back and forth on the ground.
Jump on top of them to break them.
Red/White/Blue Pompoms:
These move back and forth on
the floor but can't be broken
when they flatten themselves
so the handle is sticking up.
When they are in a ball, jump
on it to break.
Blue/Green Pompoms:
These move back and forth
in the air. Lizzie must jump
on them from a platform to break.
Red/White Pompoms:
These bounce diagonally
up and down. Lizzie can
jump on them to break them
or she can attempt to run underneath
them.
Green/Yellow pompoms:
Pompoms which drop from the ceiling
and attempt to crush poor little Lizzie
on the head. All you can do is dodge them
since they break as soon as they hit the
ground.
G. Items:
CDs: Shiny silver cds. They aren't
in cases. They are just round
silver discs.
Shoes: Shiny pink high heels
Earrings: Dangly blue earrings
Lipstick: Pink lipsticks in black cases
Pizza: Slices of pizza with pepperoni and cheese

Goal: Collect 47 cds in 2:40 minutes
Unlocks: Ask Lizzie
B. Level 2
Goal: Collect 40 shoes in 2:10 minutes
C. Level 3
Goal: Collect 69 pizzas in 2:10 minutes

Goal: Collect 32 Earrings in 2:00 minutes

Goal: Collect 156 Lipsticks in 2:32 minutes

After this you can keep playing the game for fun. Th
ere isn't anything more you can unlock though.
I got to level 100 without unlocking anything else.
The levels and goals repeat over and over after level 24
but the items you collect are reversed.

c A. Code Blue
How to Get: Unlocked at the Start
Who Plays: Player 1 vs computer or
multiplayer with link cable
Description: This is a connect-4 type
game. Drop yellow or blue flowers into
the slots and try to beat your opponent
at getting 4 in a row first.
B. Dots In Boxes
How to Get: Beat Level 10 of 'When Cheerleaders Attack'.
Who plays: Player 1 vs Computer or Multiplayer with
link cable.
Description: On the dotted grid, each player gets to draw
one line per turn. To get a point complete a box by drawing the last line
in the box. The player who completes the most boxes wins. Use
the directional pad to move to where you want to draw the line
and the a button to draw it.
C. Word Games
How to Get: Beat Level 15 of 'When Cheerleaders Attack'.
Who plays: 1 player
Description: Guess all the letters to fill in the blanks
for a randomly chosen word. If you guess an incorrect
letter the picture of Lizzie starts to get fainter.
You lose if you guess too many incorrect letters and
Lizzie completely disappears. You win if you guess
the whole word before Lizzie dissapears. It's kinda
like hangman.
D. Matching
How to Get: Beat Level 20 of 'When Cheerleaders Attack'.
Who Plays: 1 player or 2 player with link cable
Description: Memory Game. Match 18 pairs of flowers by
moving the cursor with the directional pad and using the
a button to flip the card over. Game ends when all the
pairs are matched. Score is based on how quickly you
matched the cards. If you play 2 player the winner is
the one with the most cards.
E. Box Bash
How to Get: Beat Level 24 of 'When Cheerleaders Attack'.
Who plays: 1 player or multiplayer with link cable.
Description: Clear all the boxes from the grid.
Click on groups of 2 or more of the same color
to clear by moving the cursor with the directional
pad and hitting the a button. Game ends when all the
blocks have been removed or there are no moves left.

A. Ask Lizzie
How to Get: Beat Level 1 of 'When Cheerleaders Attack'.
Description: Player says a yes or no question outloud
and Lizzie gives a random answer. Pretty much a magic
8 ball in gameboy form.
B. Fashion Match
How to Get: Beat Level 5 of 'When Cheerleaders Attack'.
Description: Multiple choice fashion quiz to find
out your own personal style.
IV. PDA
A. Class Tracker
Here the player can track his/her daily school
Schedule for Monday through Friday.
You have options for up to 7 class periods per
day plus after school activities.
B. Best Friends
Here the player can create an address
book of people they know.
You can have the friend's name, email,
phone number, and birthday.
C. Horoscope
Gives a random horoscope for you or a friend.
V. Options
This Section has a slider which lets you
change the difficulty from easy to hard.
This is also where you can view the game credits.
