Yeah, first you need to buy a cheat device.
They cost about $20.
You can get them at Wal-Mart/Target or GameStop/EB Games
After that you need to find a site with the codes.
Finally, you put in the codes into your gameshark device.
Make sure to buy it for your system.
Hope this helps.

You need to buy a game shark for whatever system you are using
Every game shark code that works is on there main site gameshark.com you can also find a walkthrough guide there on how to use the product. However their shiny codes are bad you only get one nature careful all the time.
gamesharks work on the principle of ram modification. You could actualy make your own. Never coded a gba but there's three parts xxyyyyyy zzzz. x is a special bit of code only read by the "cheating device" that tells it how many bytes to change its different for each console and isnt even present on older ones. y is the offset (location) in ram (the gba's thoughts for a gross simplification). This were we will place the new data. z is the new value. beware its all in hexadecimal so youre able to modify it byte by byte instead of bit by bit if you were doing it in binary. thats also why there so dangerous but that's half the fun.
gamesharks are only cheating if you use them for that purpose.
Do you have a gameshark? I have some wicked code floating some were if you do.
