Is there a faster way to increase Tech?

I'm trying to max out my weapons' tech before disassembling and reconstructing them with better ores and it's taking forever. I noticed that tech increases fairly evenly with most weapons as durability goes down with attacking, but not as much with defending. Is there a faster way to increase tech?

Not that I know of. Basically, landing hits on enemies is the best, if not the only way to increase it. Different attacks give different amount of points, special attacks give no points at all.

I suggest hitting enemies like crazy. I don't know if there's another way
