The Urbz: Sims in the City
Review by Myralee12
"Live a Sims life! A must get game for a Sim-fan!"
Introduction:
After roaming around in a nearby game store, I found this game on sale, and right after it came out. Thinking it'd be a good game, and a different scenery/genre of game to play, I bought it and it showed me such intense worlds in this little cartridge.
Storyline: (9/10)
The Urbz storyline is simply flawless. You're just a person. A person living in Minneapolis, who has no intentions of becoming one of the top people in this city after different missions. You first choose your group (groups consist of Artsies/Nerdies/Streeties/Richies). To find out which group you belong into, you must first take a short test about your personality, then afterwards, you'll start zooming into this flawless storyline.
Sound: (10/10)
The sound, in my opinion, is excellent. The many characters in this game have such deep types of emotions, especially your main character (you). Each character have different voices, which are funny and amusing. In short, the sound in the game is the sounds you hear in real life.
Graphics: (10/10)
Certain GBA game graphics are just horrible, but I must admit, this game has such superb graphics. These graphics are 3D and really easy on the eyes, as they're not blurry but instead clear.
Gameplay: (10/10)
Living the life of a person in a game can be challenging, fun, and weird as well. You can travel through three various parts of the city after unlocking them through missions, and a additional bayou part as well. Going through these various quests can be difficult if you do not have friends to help you, and there are a lot of people that can be your friends. You are able to interact with these different people, persuade them to go and live inside your house, and ask for simple missions. After achieving a certain and small amount of wealth, you are able to purchase your own little house, and decorate it according to your pension in this game. These are some of the simple things and fun things this game offers, and many more!
Replay Ablity: (7/10)
The replay ability is not that oh-so great. After beating the game once, and play it again, it'll be the same thing over and over again. You'll know every move that will happen. However, this game is pretty long so you might forget certain things along the way and discover new things!
Overall: (9/10)
Only one thing hold this game back from a perfect ten score; the replay ability. Nevertheless, this game is a truly wonder, and the best game I had played for months on a GBA. My advice would be to buy this game and experience the life of a Sim.
