----------------
1.0 Introduction
----------------

Final Fantasy VI was a very popular game for the SNES, and due to that
popularity Square-Enix has given it a well deserved remake. Or port, call it as
you wish, watch me care. Along with this remake we were given a new
translation, half new actually as most of the original game is still here and
the other is just the standard FF names. This can bring to quite confusing
moments when using your old SNES knowledge in this game. Even more if you are
using one of the wonderful FAQs for the SNES version. This FAQ is to take the
roll of that intermediary dictionary, for you to look up what is new and what
is unchanged, to ease the play of the old and new.

But what really drives me to spend some hours tipping this FAQ and recollection
info is something I've learn from assasin17 in the old boards: 90% OF THE FFVI
QUESTIONS CAN BE ANSWERED WITH A LINK TO A FAQ. That's true because this game
is one of the most documented ever, thanks to the efforts of many as Master
ZED,Djibriel, assasin17 just to name some. Now, this document is the door to
understand and use that wonderful information that was so hard to recollect.
Take this as a tribute, a mere reference, to the work of some better than me,
to the ones that made me know all I know about this game.

Note that this FAQ will NOT have any fancy ASCII or the like, I believe in
simplicity. A simple game should have a simple FAQ. I'm sure that the Dial-up
users will love this.

This document is complete since its first release, but doesn't mean that is the
Final Version. New things may be added as I see fit and mistakes I oversaw will
be corrected. To contribute with this FAQ refer to the Contact section.

NOTE: This FAQ only lists the name that changed, if you don't find it here it
was left as the original.

3.1 Alphabetised list

As the above list can be useful when looking up a new name from the Bestiary
that comes with FFVIA, this new list should probe better when using SNES
FAQs. I'm sure you will like it.

It's alphabetised by the FFIII names.

Please note that while most questions and requests are welcome it's important
that you follow some rules while emailing:

. Use a subject that identifies the mail as something about FFVIA, I get SPAM
everyday so there is no reason to not delete you "HI!" mail.
. Use proper grammar and spelling, English or Spanish mails are wellcome. I
don't like to get headaches from mail reading. If you think this rule "SUXS",
you are probably better not mailing me.
. Don't flame. If you don't think this guide is good or usefull say it, if you
also want to add some solutions to the problem I'll be more than pleased.
Constructive criticism is nice, bashing is not.
. If you are contributing to the FAQ add in the mail how you want to be
recognized in the Thanks section.
. While I surely love hearing stuff about your life or other games, please
talk about this game/FAQ in your mail.

That's pretty much all, they are no brainers. But sometimes it's better to make
them clear...
