"A Good Battle"

INTRO
The Nick cartoons are at it again, this time with Battle for Volcano Island. To my surprise I thought this was going to be a kids game, and be very easy, but I was dead wrong. It is a kid's game, but it is challenging, even for kids if you ask me. I challenge anybody to try and clear the 5th world, better yet make it 100% cleared. This game is no joke it is fun for all ages, and even for adults. I do not watch bob square pants and do not like him, but I did enjoy playing him in this game. The bottom line here is if you like Nick cartoons you will love this game. If not, you will still find good things about it.

GAME PLAY
This is definitely a unique style of game playing here. You get to play with four different characters. They all have their special abilities, and are needed to clear certain boards and spots to advance in the game. You have 5 worlds with four boards in each world. Plus bonus levels if you get a certain number of hearts to open them up. Trust me it is not easy trying to collect all the hearts. You need to clear each board perfect, and that is very hard to do. It does have a cute little story to follow along. Ok, it's a kid's story, but this is a cartoon game. For a hand held game, you can't complain, it will keep you busy for a while.

APPEARANCE
This part is very nice, as well come to expect from the Game Boy Advance system. All the little characters look like they do on the TV shows they are in. They did a good quality of detail on the characters. They different background boards in the 5 worlds are tremendous. A job well done by the developers. The music and sound is ok too. I'm not much into the music and sound on hand held games. I usually play them in mute.

OVERALL
This is a solid game that will keep you busy for many hours. It has tons of replay value if you really like it and wants to clear the game 100 percent. I got this bran new for 20 bucks, so you can easily pick this up somewhere for 10 bucks used, and it is well worth the money. Remember this looks like a kids game put it is not it is very challenging.
