1. Introduction
===============================================================================

First of all thanks for taking time to look at my Tomb Raider FAQ. I began 
this FAQ for the sole reason it was in the requested FAQs on GameFAQs and no
one had surprisingly written for it yet. Hopefully, I'll help some people out,
if not it gives me something to write for until my next project. I've had this
game for years, however an hour into it I gave up, now after all this time I'm
writing for it. If only I had this FAQ a few years ago...

3. Story

The game begins in Moscow. 

'Pushkin Library of Antiquities'.

Professor: "Ah Lara, my old friend, so good to see you again. I'm glad you 
            could make it."

Lara:      "Its good to see you too, Professor. Now lets get down to business".

Professor: "The reason why I have called you here is regarding an ancient 
            artefact. The artefact is described her in these manuscripts. Take
            a look".

Lara:      "It looks like some kind of crystal".

Professor: "Indeed, this crystal stone holds within in it a most evil presence
            ... a spirit if you will".

Lara:      "Spirit! What do you mean?"

Professor: "Over a thousand years ago, in Central America reigned an evil king,
            Quaxet. He ruled over the Inca, Aztec and Mayan peoples for a time.
            Quaxet sacrificed thousands of his own people as offerings to an 
            evil god who demanded blood to feed its spirit". "For 40 years his
            reign of terror continued until the high priest of each of the 
            tribes joined together to defeat him. "They killed Quaxet, and 
            condemned his spirit to the crystal stone which was sealed inside
            an Obelisk. The Obelisk was then buried within the walls of a vast
            temple."

Lara:      "Where is this temple?"

Professor: "It has just been discovered, deep in the rainforests of the Amazon.
            A friend of mine Llliat, led an expedition to find it. He will meet
            you at the base site beside the temple. Llliat was going to meet 
            you at the airport, but because he fears that other interested 
            parties will try to get in first he will meet you at the site 
            instead." "Be careful Lara".

Lara:      "I will professor, and thanks".

           [Lara flies to the base camp]

Lara:      "Oh no, Llliat!" "What's happened to you?"

           [Lara enters the temple]

Lara:      "Hang on Llliat, I'm coming!"

5. General tips
===============================================================================

Medipaks
--------
There is a lot of medipacks to collect through the game, you may at the time
not think you need them but you do. Some booby traps can deal a lot of damage
and all it takes is for you to slip and fall, and the higher up you were the
more damage you'll take.

Shooting
--------
Try and get a good distance between you and enemies. A good thing to do is to
hold the "A" button rather than tap it to shoot. You shoot faster this way. 
Another good piece of advice is you can shoot enemies while on ladders, this
means you can take out enemies without them even being able to attack you. The
standard pistols have unlimited ammo too.

Saving
------
Should be pretty obvious as saving can only be done at save crystals. Save when
ever you can, in Tomb Raider you never know what's next, your next jump could
lead to your next death so saving often means less back tracking.

Climbing/Falling
----------------
Generally, when it comes to the game there is a lot of climbing and falling 
that is needed. To ensure you don't loose health try and use ladders to go down
and if you do have to drop, grab the edge before you fall as it means less to 
drop.

Climbing is not what it seems at first. Any ledge/platform that can be climbed 
looks like this. It will have a dark section, Lara can walk to the right side 
of this but not into the lighter area. From here you can jump and pull yourself
up. If your outside of this zone, Lara won't grab on. However, when on top, 
you can walk to the edge of the black zone as if it was solid ground.

Back-stepping
------------
Some enemies such as warriors and so an, have a tendency to try and get as
close as they can to you. So in an attempt to avoid getting hurt, when shooting
tap backwards on the D-PAD to walk backwards but continue shooting.

Batteries!
----------
Yeah, the bane of GameBoys or any hand held for that matter. Battery life, just
make sure you keep an eye on your battery life as its very annoying for your 
game to die on you when you haven't saved for a while.

Ledges, Platforms, and Walls

To get this platform is simple. Climb up the ladder as far as you can, and then
press "B" and right on the D-PAD to backflip off the ladder onto the platform.
Simply change the direction of the jump for other platforms.

6. Walkthrough
===============================================================================

Tomb Raider is a massive game, and much of it involves exploring areas. This 
FAQ will basically get you through the game, it may miss some areas out, this
may or may not be of importance. However, if you think they do help as they 
contain items and so on get in touch. You'll get full credit. :)

As a general rule it will be up to you the player as what weapon you use and 
when you use medipaks. However, ensure you use large medipaks for when your
health is very low, and small medipaks for when your health is above halfway.

Please note, this guide will contain spoilers. Anything in quotation marks " 
is what appears on the game screen as speech. Anything in brackets [ and ] are 
actions that happen on screen in the games "cutscenes".

If anyone has alternate routes or methods I'd gladly accept them too.

Please note, only use dynamite when I say so. 

Now on to the walkthrough.

Mission 1 : Temple A
===============================================================================

When you begin run forward and pick up the small medipak. Continue heading 
forward and dropping down the edge of the temple until you come to a large
medipak. Pick it up and climb up the wall in front of you. Run and jump over
the deadly pit of spikes. Drop down and pick up yet another small medipak. 

Climb up the wall, and then climb up the grassy wall again. In the bush here
just visible is another large medipak. Pick it up. Press select to get your
pistols out, drop down from the ledge your own now and shoot the scorpion. 
There's a stick of dynamite here, grab it and then climb up the ladder.

There is a door here, and a bat will arrive. Shoot the bat and stand facing the
door, jump up and grab the ledge. Climb up and press the switch, the door below
is now open. Head through it. Drop down and you'll find a save point, crouch
down to activate it, I advise you save here. 

A bat will arrive, shoot it then, go down the ladder near the save point and
plant a stick of dynamite near the wall, run to a safe distance quickly and the
wall will crumble. Grab the large medipak and head back to the save point. Now 
jump across to the lead in front of you. Head forward and climb up the ledge 
once the coast is clear as there's a scorpion up here, once up shoot it and 
move on.

Its important you climb down the ladder here as its a fairly big drop, once
at the bottom shoot the snake and head forwards. Be careful when running as 
there is a scorpion here, shoot it before it has chance to sting you. Climb
down the ladder and on the ground floor keep heading forward you'll go behind
a wall and eventually see a large and small medipak. Pick them up and head 
back.

Once at the top of the ladder again, take a running jump onto the ledge 
opposite you. Head onwards and climb up the ladder, flick the switch and now
make your way back to the long walkway where the scorpion used to be, on the
way you'll see a ledge above you. Get up it and climb up the long ladder.

Once at the top you'll be at what appears to be a dead end. Stand right at the
edge facing the drop and you can see a ledge, jump over to it. Note, no run up
is needed. Do the same for the other ledge after, and the ledge after that and
then finally onto the top of the ladder. Kill the bat that turns up and while
there grab another useful small medipak. 

There's a ledge in front of you with another scorpion, waste it and pick the 
small medipak up near where you are. Head over and use the save point. Now go
back to the ladder which suddenly just ends. Fall down here and you'll know
where you are. Now, head left and go to where you picked up the dynamite to 
claim another stick. Basically, just head left and climb or drop down any 
ledges you come across. Once you have it, go right and head to switch on the
furthest side of the level. It is the switch above the secret area in which 
Lara goes behind a wall while collecting some medipaks.

Once back here at the top of the ladder face right and jump, you'll land on
another one of those hard to see platforms. Get out your pistols and shoot the
snake in front of you, once its dead jump over and grab the medipak before
heading up the ladder. Flick the switch and go back to facing the drop down 
the ladder. 

Move back and run and then jump across and climb the platform, shoot the 
scorpion and head onwards. You'll see a switch and a door, press it to open the
door. The switch you pressed has made sure you don't fall down the slope. Go
across it and dynamite the wall.

Once its blown up, go down the ladder, kill the snake and pick up the dynamite.
Using the dynamite plant it on the floor that is protecting the small medipak.
Get at a safe distance and pick up your reward once its safe. Climb back up the
ladder and go to the switch across the gap which activated the bridge and press
it again.

Head back to the bridge and fall down the gap, drop down again and Lara will
slide down the slope. Head forwards and you'll see a statue with a weird glow,
go to the middle of it and press forwards on the D-Pad.

[Lara will examine the statue]

"Foolish intruder, you shall pay for your greed. You have awoken the guardians
of the temple and they shall not rest until you are destroyed!"

[Lara awakens some time later; The room is now brighter, Lara sees a trail of
blood and decides to follow it].

Head forwards and shoot the snake, turn around and climb up the ledge and then
the ladder. When you get near the top you'll see a few scorpions around. Once
the ledge parallel to the ladder is clear press right on the D-PAD and "B". 
Lara will flip over there, once you've landed get out your pistols and kill
the scorpion.

Climb up the next ladder and do another flip but this time to the left. Kill 
the other scorpion here. Head onwards and then drop down, pick up the small
medipak. Kill the bat that arrives in front of you. Go to the edge of the ledge
and stop, jump up and press "B" to grab the vines and then monkeyswing over
to the other side. You'll be going over the statue. 

When at the other side pick up a stick of dynamite and the large medipak. Go
back to the start of the section (near the statue on the ground floor). When
you get there take a left and climb up many ledges. After a while you'll come
to a wall which can be blown. Use your dynamite on it.

Go through and drop down, as soon as you do, crouch as this statue here the one
that looks like a bird will be shooting arrows. Kill the bat(s) that arrive.
Keep going forward and kill the two scorpions that are on the level you are on.
You'll come to a save point, use it.

Don't head forwards across the unstable walkway as its a dead end. Look up and
climb up the ladder, at the top is some medipaks, get them and go back down the
ladder safely. Now go down the ladder near the save point. At the bottom, kill
the scorpion that arrives. Head on, go down another ladder and across a bridge.
Kill the bat that you hear before it has chance to annoy you.

Carry on going forward, climb up the ledge, pick up the small medipak and kill
yet another bat. Go across the covered up drop and climb up the small wall, 
waste the snake on the other side and hop down. When you run across the next
gap it will crumble so be careful. Head forward more and press the switch.

Just before the drop above you is a ledge, go up it and collect the large
medipak. Drop down and then take a running jump over the gap, ensure you don't
fall as it is a pit of spikes. Climb up the ledge and make your way back to the
save point. 

I'd advise you to save here, once you do, run on and you will hear the trap 
door open up. Fall down it, but fear not after a while Lara will fall into a 
pool of water. Swim down to the bottom and grab 2 small medipaks. Quickly swim 
back to the top and get out on the left. Run forward and the kill the scorpion,
head forward again and you'll come to a save point. Save and you've done 
"Temple A".

Mission 2: Temple B
===============================================================================

From the save point above you is a ladder, jump up and grab it. Climb up and 
when at the top kill a scorpion but watch out for a pesky bat that appears too.
Go leftwards and before dropping down off the ledge kill the snake, then pick
up another medipak. Head back to the ladder.

Do a running jump over the gap onto the platform opposite. Be careful as there
is another pit full of spikes. Jump up and grab the vines, monkeyswing over to
the right and flick the switch. Hop back over the gap and go down the ladder 
and past the save point. Kill the scorpion and go right. Drop down into the pit
which contains two snakes, kill them and take the small medipak in the middle.

Head left again and climb up, in the bushes there is a hidden medipak. Pick it
up and edge towards the higher platform. You'll see another one of those arrow
firing statues. Time it so when you climb up you miss being hit.

When at the top, turn around and climb all the way down the ladder. Kill the
snake and climb up the lowest platform. Shoot another snake in the small space
and then crouch down and roll through. Climb down the long ladder and when at 
the bottom head left and climb up a ladder, flick the switch on the wall.

Go backwards down the ladder and you'll see the trap door has opened. Go down
it and after about halfway press select to equip a pistol and shoot the snake.
Flip over to it and grab the medipak. Once you have, run and jump back onto the
ladder and continue going down. Do the same for what you did for the snake on
the scorpion but this time press a switch on the wall. A bat may arrive.

Once you have, drop down and go left. You'll find a save point. Use it. Now 
take a run up and jump over the biggest gap you've encountered in the game yet.
Lara will grab on the end of ledge, pull yourself up. Go left and climb up the
ladder, time it so you avoid the two arrow firing statues. 

When at the top go left and fall into the pool of water. Swim to the bottom 
left hand corner and activate the switch. Swim back up to the ledge and get 
out. Do a running jump over the gap to the other side. You'll lock onto a 
snake on the right, kill it and drop down. When you do quickly kill the 
scorpion here and grab the small medipak.

Aligned yourself with the platform above you, jump up and you'll find a large
medipak. Perform a running jump over the gap back to platform you started on.
Do another running jump back onto the ladder and avoid the arrows as you go
down. Once down, do a running jump over the massive gap and past the save 
point. 

Jump up and begin climbing the long ladder. When at the top, jump up and begin
climbing the other ladder above. After getting to the top, go left and up the
ledge. Go left and roll when the gap becomes too small, but don't fall off the
end, instead turn around and jump up, pulling yourself up to the walkway above.

Go right and you'll come to another area above you. There is a arrow firing 
statue though, time it so you climb up without being hit. Go up the next ledge
and then climb the ladder. Go right and plant a stick of dynamite. Stand back
and go through your newly created path. Save before though using the save 
crystal.

Dodgy bit coming up now. As you slide down the slop you will be quickly 
approaching a pit of spikes, right before you die, press up and right on the
D-PAD to jump to safety on the right. Grab the large medipak and then perform
a running jump onto the ladder opposite. Climb up it.

As you rise to the top, 2 bats will arrive, you may want to kill them will on 
the ladder because there is a scorpion walking on this walkway. Once they are
dead you can deal with the scorpion, flick the switch too. Proceed to go left.

You will get to a series of drops now, at the end of each drop is a arrow 
firing statue. How to get through here is to roll and drop of the end, and then
quickly crouch down to avoid getting hit. Repeat this several times and you'll
get to the bottom with good health.

Once at the bottom, grab the medipak and then slide down the slope. You'll land
on a small ledge and see a pit of spikes. Take a run up and jump over the pit
onto the ladder. Climb up. Watch out for a scorpion here. 

Finish him and go to the left, run and jump to the ladder opposite. Climb up 
and you'll see a snake guarding a switch. Shoot the snake and activate the 
switch. This will stop the arrow firing statues in the nearby area. Climb back
down and do a flip when at the end of the ladder back to the walkway. Now climb
down another ladder.

When at the bottom go right and press up on the D-PAD to enter the door. Go to
the right and take a run up, leap over the pit and then do another running leap
over the final section of spikes. Roll through the small gap and climb up the
ladder. Do a flip over to the ledge which contains a key. Pick it up and make
your way back to the doorway. (Save next to the key)

Go through the door, and climb up that ladder again. When at the top go right.
Pull yourself up the ledge above you and pick up the medipak. Now monkeyswing 
over to the right. You'll get to the end, as you do drop down and you'll find
yourself back at that annoying section containing the several arrow firing 
statues. Make your way back up it in the same manner as you came down it.

When you get at the top go left and past the switch. You'll see those platforms
again. Hop across them like you've done before. Take a running jump on the last
one to reach the safety of the platform without sliding down the slope. You may
want to use the save point. Climb down the ladder and fall down the ledges.

When on the ground run quickly to avoid an arrow in the head and do a running
jump onto a ladder. Climb down it and flip into the lower ledge that will need
you to crawl through in order to get past. Get down the ledge and climb down
the ladder. Go down the next ladder directly underneath.

When at the bottom head right, shoot the scorpion. Take a run up and jump over
the spike pit, as soon as you land kill another scorpion. When you get to the
door press "A" to use the key in the lock and the door will open. Run through
to complete the level.

Mission 3 : Temple C
===============================================================================

As soon as you start run forward and save. Run and jump over the gap. Go 
forward and drop of the ledge, quickly run and jump across the gap. You'll see
a new booby trap when you do, arrow firers but from above this time. Once you
land pull yourself up. Move on right again and you'll see a wall which can be
dynamited. However you don't have any yet.

Instead, climb up the ladder. Two bats will fly along, kill them and climb up
the ledge on the right. Head onwards and climb up the ladder. Now run without
stopping over this section as the platforms when touched collapse. Once at the
end climb down the ladder, if you need to go back, use the vines above you.

Don't go all the way down the ladder though as there is a scorpion at the
bottom. Get out a pistol and kill it before fully getting off the ladder. When
your off crouch and roll through the small gap. Climb up the two ledges and 
wait. You'll see those roof firing arrow traps again, simply run at full speed
all the way past them until you get to the end. There will be a save crystal.

Climb up and run all the way along the right, eventually you'll come to a 
switch. Press it and backtrack until you see the trap door you opened, drop
down it. Go left and get out your pistols, kill the snake here and flick the 
switch to open yet another trap door. Again, go back to the middle and drop
down.

IMPORTANT!

On this platform next to the switch is the yellow handle. It is a important 
item that is needed for future progress, I advise you pick it up now. If you 
miss it fear not, go to the section after finding the blue handle to find out
how to get the yellow handle again. It is also possible to miss it as to gain
it requires you to be in possession of a stick of dynamite. If you don't have
any just leave it and come back for it later.

Go right this time and run over the snake pit, the floor will crumble. Press 
the switch and go back to the pit, don't fall in yet, shoot the snake and jump
over. Next to the pit is a save crystal, you might want to use it. Go back to 
the middle but DON'T fall down, its a big drop and there is a spike pit at the
bottom. Instead use the ladder.

About halfway down you'll see a platform, do a flip off the ladder onto it. Get
to the left hand side of it and jump onto the pillar opposite, climb down the
ladder on the left hand side of it. Go left and pick up a room key. Pull up
to the ledge above and press the switch. Two bats will arrive, drop down and
kill them. Go back to the pillar. 

Climb up it and wait on the right side of it. I haven't found a good way of 
doing this, so any alternate methods would be great. Simply push forward and
fall. Lara will land on a platform just below the ladder you were on, she'll 
get hurt a bit though. As soon as you do, get out your pistols and kill the
cave type human that attempts to attack you with a spear. Once they are dead
move on.

Climb down the ladder as far as you can. Jump to the left onto another platform
and then jump/drop to the right again. If done right you'll be on a platform 
above the centre of a pit of spikes. Run and jump to the left and go through
the door. Use the save point and then drop down into the water.

Swim down through the gaps and take the bottom tunnel, dodge the electric eel
and swim up. Swim over the small medipak to pick it up and then go up for air.
Pull yourself out on the left and pick up the large medipak. Drop into the next
pit and kill the scorpion. Drop off another ledge and kill the bat. Pick up
the dynamite. 

Go forwards slightly and press the switch, kill any bats that arrive. Now turn
around and climb back up the ledges and fall back into the water. Swim down
and to the left this time, dodge any jellyfish and pull the leaver. Swim back
to the top and go to where you got the dynamite, now trust me and do a leap of
faith over to the other side of the screen. Lara will grab onto a ledge, pull
yourself up and pick up the blue handle. Save.

Now run and jump back, and climb up the ledges, drop back into the pool and
swim on the surface to the right. Pull yourself out and head forwards, kill the
snake and you will encounter a new enemy, a skeleton warrior, simply deal with
him just like you did with the cave warrior. Perform a running jump back over 
to the starting platform of this area and save. Head through the door.

Jump onto the platform to the right, and then again over the spike pit onto the
ladder. Climb up as far as you can and then back flip to the ladder opposite. 
Do the same again, but back flip to the left to reach the top. When at the top
(you should be on the right hand side) do a running jump to the left and head
forwards. Climb up the big ledge.

Quickly run past and dodge the roof arrow firers and fall down. Run forwards
and some bats will arrive, kill them and proceed up the two ledges. Climb down
the ladder and go left, walk up to the end of the platform but don't fall off.
You should see a cave warrior, get out your weapons and kill her. Fall down and
go left, jump up and open the locked door. 

Go through the door and when you come out the other side, save. Roll through
the gap. Go to the middle barrel and press "A" to insert the blue handle. 1/3
done. Now to find the red and yellow handle.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I will now be telling you how to get the yellow handle, this is in case you 
missed it, which is in fact very easy to do. I advise even if you have already
picked it up to follow this section through, as I will continue the guide as if
I forgot to pick it up, plus I will begin the quest for the red handle, 
straight after finding the yellow one. So it helps if you are in the same 
location.

Go left and plant some dynamite, when the wall has blown slide down the slopes
and you'll find yourself on a ledge with a nearby save point. Hop down and use
it.

Once you've saved go through the door on the left. Roll through the gap and
then climb up the first ladder you come to. There is arrow firers on the right
of it, so time you climb so that you avoid them. As your climbing you'll notice
you have just missed a cave warrior. When at the top, go left for a run up, run
back towards the ladder and jump out. You'll land on another ladder on the 
other side. Climb up it.

Go right and drop down the ledge. Do a running jump over the massive gap which 
turns out to be a spike pit. Pull yourself up and go right, you'll find 
yourself in a familiar spot. Ignore the wall as you have no dynamite and 
instead climb up the ladder. Once at the top, go right and up the ledge. Climb
up another ladder. 

As you rise to the top, monkeyswing over to the other side as its easier than
having to do the tricky jumps. Once at the end, drop down and go down the
ladder. Go right and roll through the small gap. Climb up the two ledges and
when on the long platform with the arrow firers from above, run none stop to
the end. You may want to save when you get to the end. 

Climb up the ledge and go right still, jump over the gap and carry on. You'll
now see the yellow handle underneath the walkway. Go near the switch and pick 
up the dynamite, blow the ground using it and drop down to claim the yellow 
handle. Drop down the middle pit and you'll find yourself on familiar ground,
go right and save. You don't want to have to do all that again, do you?

Go left over the gap and then down the ladder. Halfway down do a backflip over
to the platform on the left. Jump off that onto the pillar. Turn around and
drop down. You land, but get hurt slightly. Go left and do a running jump over
the gap. Run forward and climb up over the platform, drop down off the other
side. 

Climb up the two ledges and down the ladder, do a running jump over the gap and
go past the lock, enter the door. Go and insert the yellow handle now. You
really should turn around and save too. Go back to the barrels and run left.
Slide down the slopes and you'll end up on a platform. Jump to the platform on
the right and follow it onwards. 

When you get to the floor tiles they will crumble. You'll floor down, pick up 
the dynamite and climb up over to the medipaks on your left. Now, using the 
ledges of the platforms near you, climb back up to where the floor tiles used
to be. Now run back along past the big blue statue, drop down and save. Go 
into the nearby door.

When you come out, roll through the gap and kill the cave warrior. Carry on
going ahead and down the ladder. There will be a scorpion at the bottom, deal
with it. Roll to the right and straight through the tunnel, pick up the small
medipak and the 20 rapid bullets at the end.

Rapid bullets like the name suggests are much faster than normal bullets but
unlike normal bullets have a limit to how many can be used. Spare ammo is 
usually not too common either, use sparingly.

Roll back through out the tunnel and climb up the small ladder. Then make your
way up the two ledges and drop down the other side. Kill the scorpion that 
attempts to attack you. Go right. Run and jump over the spikes and land on a
platform, do the same but again, but you'll land on a ladder this time. Go up
it and kill the bat.

From where you are to the left is some platforms, above the platforms is a 
door, there's not really much point going through it but if you do go down the
ladder and jump onto the platform, get to the other side and climb up to find
2 large medipaks. Make your way back out the door and back to the top of the
ladder. Like I said, not really needed but useful.

Go right from the top of the ladder, drop down the two platforms and you'll 
come to a ladder, kill the 2 bats that turn up. Annoying aren't they? Don't go 
up the ladder but roll through the small gap and head left. You'll come to some
floor tiles, plant a stick of dynamite on them. Jump out the way.

Climb down the ladder and go right, you'll come to 3 arrow fires, you should be
pretty used to dodging them by now so do so. When you get to the bottom crouch
and roll to the left to avoid the arrows. Climb up the first ledge you come to.
Repeat for the next one, then take a run up and do a running jump towards the
way you just came, you grab hold of a ledge which has a switch on it. Press the
switch but be careful as the pits of spikes below have just opened.

You should have noticed that one pit contains a much needed key. To get to the
key use the vines above you to monkeyswing out to about halfway, then drop. If
done right you'll miss the spikes and be able to pick up the door key. Now make
your way back, all the way back past the arrow firers. Climb up the ladder and
you'll find yourself on the left hand side. Jump over to the right and head
onwards.

After a while you come to a small area which requires you to roll, it has some
snakes in though. So roll, shoot and then roll and shoot. When you come out
climb over the obsticale and you'll see the door with a lock, before you open
it kill the scorpion at the top and grab the large medipak and the dynamite.

Open the door now and go through. Move on slightly but don't fall. Using the 
vines above you monkeyswing over to the other side. Flick the switch and then
using the ledge drop down to the platform below. Pick up the heavy bullets.

Heavy bullets deal out more damage than regular or rapid bullets but they too
just like rapid bullets are few and far between.

Now using the platforms placed dangerously close to the spikes make your way
over to the left. Jump over to the newly opened door and kill the scorpion,
pick up the red handle in the next area on the left. Time to get the hell out 
of here. Make your way out the exact way you came in, over the platforms and 
then up across the vines. 

Basically, you need to make your way back to the room where you insert the 3
handles. For those of you who don't know how to get there, follow this. Go out
past the door and just make your way leftwards. Go past the tunnel where the 
snakes were and run carry on going left. You'll run into a save point. Use it
is my advice. 

Keep left and jump over the gap you recently blew up. When on the left side, 
climb up the first ladder you come to. When at the top, jump to the right side
and fick the switch. Hop back to the left side and climb up to the next level.
Then repeat, climb up to the next level and head left. You should now see the
door to the handle room. Go through it and save, then place the red handle in
its slot.

[You see a weird cutscene now and when your regain control find the level has
changed. Pick up the small medipak and then slide down the slope to the left, 
now simply head right and press "A" on the strange blue statue.]

Mission 4 : Royal Tombs A
===============================================================================

As soon as the level starts you'll slide down and fall onto a platform with a 
save point. Save. Its much nicer in the royal tombs isn't it? Well, that may be
so but the enemies and booby traps have also been stepped up a gear too. When
you are ready roll off the platform to the left and you'll land on another
platform. Pick up the rapid bullets.

Now do another roll but this time to the right. You'll be another the last 
platform, pick up the small medipak. Stand to the edge of the platform and face
the wall, press "B" and down. Lara will grab on the ledge, let go and you will
slide down a slope. Just before the end of it jump and you will grab onto the
ladder. Please note that if you don't do this method, you'll end up in the 
spike pit. Dead.

Make your way up the ladder. Kill the bat that turns up. Go right, down the 
ledge and kill yet another bat. Don't bother using the ladder here, just drop
down as there are arrow firers on the right side. When at the bottom, go right.
Up the ledge and then the ladder. Do a backflip off the ladder onto the walkway
on the left. You should see a strange lever on the roof near you, it can't be
pulled manually so get out your pistols and shoot it.

Head back down towards where the arrow firers are. You'll notice you have 
opened a set of trap doors. Go into it and flick the switch. Go right and up
past the leaver you shot. Climb up the new ladder and backflip to the right,
advance up this ladder too. Once at the top, go right and drop down the gap.
Here is a mummy, use the backstepping method of shooting to dispose of him. Go
right past where the mummy was.


[You come across Llliat]

[Lara shoots the mummy that has been attacking Llliat and kneels down beside
him]

Lara:   "Llliat, are you hurt?"

Llliat: "It's too late for me Lara. I've lost too much blood. I'm dying".

Lara:   "How did this happen to you? What's going on?".

Llliat: "Lara did you touch the temple altar?".

Lara:   "Yes".

Llliat: "Lara, you have unleashed the guardians!".

Lara:   "What guardians?".

Llliat: "They are the spirits of the ancient protectors of the temple. They 
        were entombed here to make sure that no-one would try to take the 
        stone. They will kill any intruder."

Lara:   "Then, Llliat we've got to get you out of here!".

Llliat: "No Lara, you must stop the others".
 
Lara:   "What others?".

Llliat:  "While I was waiting for you, I was ambushed and tortured. They were
        mercenaries who wanted the map to the Nightmare Stone". 
 
Llliat:  "They took me to the altar and made me show them what must be done. 
        Then they found the map and left me here to die. But, I tricked them 
        they didn't get the entire map. They cannot get all the way down to the 
        guardian. He holds the final part of the key that will unlock the 
        Nightmare Stone".

Llliat:  "This map here will help... you get back ...up to the altar. Destroy 
        the Nightmare Stone Lara... It is PURE evil..."

[Llliat dies]


Pick up the key next to Llliat's body. You will notice you have in your 
backpack a "panel piece". Now time to move on. Go left and drop down off the 
walkway. Go up to the door and use the key. Dodge the arrow firer and then go
through. Do a running jump over this pit as it may look okay at first but in
fact this is a new booby trap, a spike pit that has retractable spikes. So as
a future rule, be careful of these traps from now on. They are not lethal but
do deal a lot of damage.

Pull yourself up and go right. Dodge the arrow firers from the ceiling and use 
the save point. Go left and drop down, you should now come to a small area 
which requires you to roll through. Don't yet as its a trap, you'll notice that
there are retractable spikes, when they go down quickly roll through. Go up the
ladder. 

When at the top, kill the bat, now run past the arrow firer and leap over the
spike pit. Climb up and advance the ladder. Backflip to the left and onto the
platform. From here, pull yourself up and as soon as you do a skeleton will 
arise. Quickly drop back down now. When the skeleton warrior is not near you go
back up and kill him. Press the switch and now the door opposite will open. 

Get over there and perform a running jump over the spike pit. Lara will grab 
hold of a ladder, go up it and stop. You'll see another trap, retractable
spikes and arrow firers, time it so you roll past without getting hurt. You
shall begin sliding down a slope, jump just before the end of it land on the 
ladder and not to your death. Make your way up it.

Go left and over the floor tiles which can be dynamited. Go left more and you
will see a pile of bones, edge closer and a skeleton warrior will arise. Kill
him wall ducking to avoid the arrow firer on the wall at the end. Plant some
dynamite and the tiles will explode. Head down and go through the door. 

Fall of the platform your on and kill the scorpion. There's a fair few arrow
firers here so be careful. On the far left of this area is a pit with a large
medipak. On the right is a snake, duck to avoid the arrow firer and kill the 
snake. The pillar to the right with the arrow firer on contains a snake at the
top so going up it now would be stupid. Instead use the ledge on the right, 
pick up the bullets and then shoot the snake. Jump over to the pillar. 

On the right is small medipak. Collect it and then make your way back to the
door you used to enter this section. Climb up the ladder and you'll be on the
left hand side of the pit you dynamited. Hop over to the right and do a running
jump to the right. Lara will grap hold of a platform above. On the new platform
jump over to the ladder and go up.

From here, shoot the leaver and this will cause some ledges to reveal near your
position. Begin making your way over the platforms you just made. Once at the 
end the walkway you land on has a skeleton warrior, kill him. Go left now. When
you come to a pit, stop. Lower yourself down and there will be 3 snakes. If you
did lower yourself down they shouldn't be able to bite you. Waste them both.
Climb out the other end, grab the dynamite and medipak up here too. 

Go left more and you will see a large area, go straight on and through a
tunnel. There will be a stash of 2 clips of rapid bullets and a small medipak.
Collect them and head back out the tunnel. Now just head right back to the area
where you shot the leaver. Jump across the ledges and so on.

When back there, climb up the ledge on the left. Grab the small medipak and 
then run across the floor tiles which will break. Go right a bit more and kill
the bat that turns up. Head back to the left where the floor tiles crumbled and
advance down the ladder. There's a skeleton warrior here, awake him and then 
finish him. Use the save point. 

Go up the ladder and go right. Slide down the slope, just before the end jump
and grab the ladder. Go down it. Head right, kill the bats that appear and take
the heavy bullets. Go through the tunnel and collect the large medipak. Head 
back to the ladder and advance up it, dodge the arrows as you go. 

Once near the top shoot the oncoming bat. Go down the ladder opposite the one
you just climbed. About halfway down backflip onto the platform on the right. 
Just stay on the edge though as there are retractable spikes here. Once its 
clear run to the next platform, pull up and stand on the edge of the next ledge
too. When its clear again, make your way up. Do a running jump to the ladder
here.

Go down it dodging the arrows. When at the bottom save. Now head right, again,
dodge the arrows. When you drop down, go left. Be careful though as there is a
spike trap here. Climb up the obstacle and shoot the bat. Drop down the other
side of it and go left. Drop down the ledge and you'll find a mummy, kill him
and move on. You come across a door, ingore it for now but instead go left and
through the tunnel. Kill the snake and pick up the heavy bullets and small
medipak. Now go through the door.

In this area go forward and climb up walkway, use the save point. Up the next
ledge is a skeleton warrior, kill him. Now slide down the slope, shoot the bat
that you lock onto. Advance forward and use the switch. Turn around and go back
the way you came, go down the trap door you just opened. There's a save point
here and a wall which can be blown to the right. Head first left and take care
of the skeleton warrior. Return right now, plant some dynamite and jump back.

Once its blown, head through. Climb up the pillar you come to and from there
shoot the mummy. As soon as he's been disposed of, go left and flick the 
switch. Before you rush back, go right past the switch and collect the large 
medipak at the end of the tunnel. Go back the way you came. I'd advise a save
here. 

Now adventure on to the left. Climb up the platform and wait for the arrow
firers on the roof to stop shooting before going past. Hop down and move on. 
Roll through the small gap and waste the mummy that is wandering around. Pick
up the dynamite at the end here before advancing up the ladder. Once at the top
here, go through the door on the left. 

In this new area, go right and up the walkway, kill the scorpion and head on.
Drop down the ledge here, use the save point and claim the medipak. After a 
while of heading left you'll run into a mummy, shoot him and carry on. Climb up
the ledge, as you do you will see a bolder come smashing down right in front of
you. Ignore it and quickly head on. Slide down the slope and just before the
end jump and grab hold of the ladder. Make your way down it.

About halfway down you shall come to a walkway, do a backflip over to it and
you wil come across a wall which can be dynamited and behind it is a skeleton
warrior and a switch. Plant some dynamite there. Step back best you can and 
take out the skeleton, pick up the small medipak and then finally press the 
switch. Run and jump back to the ladder, head down it again.

When at the bottom, jump across the trap doors you just opened up and collect
the dynamite, a skeleton warrior will be advancing. You know what to do. Once
he's dead, go right. Follow it all the way around and you will start going down
as series of ledges kind of like some stairs. When at the last one, wait. As 
the pit contains retractable spikes. As soon as its clear, drop down and go to
the middle. Pick up the small medipak. 

Wait for the next set of spikes to clear before climbing out of pit. Keep going
right, up past the various ledges and platforms, you'll then run into another
mummy. Kill him and head right still. After a while you come to a switch and
a door, press the switch but the door won't open. Time to head back to the 
trap door you opened at the bottom of the ladder.

Simply go back left, dodge all the traps and avoid the spikes. When back at the
trap door. Drop down and go through the door. When you come out go left, jump
across the gap and then activate the switch here. Fall down the gap here and
a mummy will attempt to attack you, kill him. Near here, is a set of trap doors
you've opened up. Go down here, and shoot the scorpion. 

The next ledge contains a save crystal, use it and then move on. Two bats will
turn up. Get rid of them. Drop off the end and pick up the large medipak. Head
right now. To the right is a blue stone, barely visible is a skeleton warrior
behind it. Make sure you don't run into him literally. Keep going right now,
eventually there will be another skeleton warrior. Kill it and head right.

You shall find a mummy here, waste him and now climb up the ladder. Once at the
top press the switch. A cutscene will now play.

[Some of the level is flooded with water]

Go down the ladder and use the save point. Go left and kill yet another 
skeleton warrior. Climb up the platform and carry on, up here is a again like
last time, a skeleton warrior. Kill it and head left. There's a small medipak
up here, grab it before climbing up to the walkway we dropped down earlier. 
Again, like last time there is a scorpion. Make your way up here and two bats
will arrive. Take them out before climbing up. From here basically head left.

You run into a save point, use it and then slide down the slope. This section
is flooded so you have to swim through. Start by going left from when you just 
go under, remember this section? Grab the small medipak and go back up for air.
Now take a deep breath and go down. Dodge the electric ell. Swim left and do 
your best to avoid the arrow firers. Go right and you will hear and then
finally see 2 ells. In this section you can come up for air. 

Once you've had a breath of fresh air, dive back down and go right. Basically
there's like on real path, eventually you should see a switch on the wall, go 
up to it and push it. Then its a case of going up and activating another one.
This time its on the left hand side of the wall though. As you flick it the 
door to your left will open, swim through it. In this room there is a few 
jellyfish but 3 medipaks. 2 small and one large, very useful. 

When you have them, head back out and grab some air. Take a big deep breath and
then go down past the door you just opened and underneath that walkway is the
door you need. Swim through it. Go up for air and climb out, use the save point
now. Now head through the door. When you emerge, run forwards and you'll find
a save point. Kill the annoying bat that arrives. 

Drop off the ledge and collect the rapid bullets. Kill the mummy here. Behind
his sandy corpse is some more rapid bullets, collect them and finish off the
bat that flies over. Go forwards again, kill yet another mummy and pick up the
small medipak here. Do a running jump over to the ladder and go down it, while
doing this dodging the arrows. 

When at the bottom, drop down the ledges and you will fall into a pit with a 
scorpion in, shoot him before he has chance to sting you. Move on to the left
now. This walkway contains a small medipak and a save point. Use it and then
take a running jump over the spike pit. Climb up the ladder on the other side.
When at the top of this ladder you will be next to a door, and on the other 
side is a ladder, you can't go through the door at the moment so jump over to
the other ladder and go up it. Avoid the arrows of course...

As Lara gets to the top, jump to the left. At the end of here is a switch and a
mummy, kill him and then flick the switch. Jump across the gap now and go 
right. Drop down and dodge the arrows, grab the dangerously placed small 
medipak that is under the arrow firers. Climb out up at the right and flick the
other switch here. Before you head back to the door on the stairs, roll to the
right and grab the "Skeleton Key". Now head back to that door on the ladder
way.

Slide down the slope and you will land in a pit with two switches either side 
of you. There's a save point in the middle, use it and then press both switches
will avoiding the above arrow firers. Once both doors on the right are open
climb up and head through them. Go right and climb up the wall, pick up the 
large medipak and drop down the other side. Head forward over the trap doors.

Plant a stick of dynamite on the wall, and as soon as you do flip back and 
get out your pistols and equip the rapid bullets. Here is the first skeleton
wizard you will encounter, try and duck to avoid his magic and simply unload
your rapid bullets into him. Press the switch at the end here and make your way
back to the trap doors now. 

Drop down and Lara will slide down the slope. Kill the scorpion here. Go left
and climb up the wall, grab the small medipak and drop down the other side.
Kill the snake and the other one on the ledge to the left. Move on now and 
climb up where the second snake was, go through the door here. When you come
out, go left an take the large medipak. Drop down and use the save point, kill
the bat and scorpion here too. 

Go left some more and a skeleton warrior will be there, deal with him the same
way you did the last one. Notice the strange skeleton statue here? Press "A" on
it to open it and receive the "Staff Segment". Go left and climb up the ledge
and go through the open door. There's a skeleton warrior here, so take him out.
Best way to do it is jump off the small walkway your on and shoot him from 
below. A bat and a mummy, and a scorpion are here so be prepared. 

Go forwards and you shall see a Reaper behind a wall, on top of it is
a small medipak. Collect it and drop down to where the wizard is. Using your
rapid bullets kill him. Now, run to where he was and press the switch. The door
to your left will open, head through it.

Congratulations, you've just beat the first royal tombs level.

Mission 5 : Royal Tombs B
===============================================================================

When you begin, head forwards and drop down off the ledge. Carry on and you'll
see one of those leavers that can be shot to be activated. Shoot it and the
trap doors underneath will open up. Don't go down it, instead head left and
slide down the slope, as you do you will land on a big open area. Go as far
right as you can towards the slope and you will notice a tunnel here. Roll into
it and grab the medipak, ammo and more importantly the dynamite. Head back out.
There will be arrow firers but this time they are on the floor. Run past them.
Climb up the edge at the end and save.

If you don't get the dynamite from under the slope as described as above you
will get so far and not be able to pass, and so will have to backtrack. Make
sure you don't miss it.

Collect the small medipak next to it and then climb up the ladder. About 
halfway up it there is a walkway with a skeleton warrior on, backflip off the 
ladder to it and shoot the skeleton. Flick the switch at the end of the walkway
before heading back to the ladder.

Head up the ladder and backflip to the newly opened walkway. Follow it on. Drop
off the ledge at the end and go right. Kill the scorpion that turns up. Make 
your way up the ledge at the end, but be careful as there's a scorpion here.
Climb up the last ledge and right here is a new booby trap. Its dual arrow
firers, from above and the below. Dodge past them and press the switch at the
end. Collect the small medipak while your there too.

Now simply go back to the ladder we used to get here. Basically, just head
left and eventually you will be back there. On the right hand side (Nearest the
door) pull yourself up to the next level. Another ladder here, except there is
arrow firers on the side. Go up it and try to avoid them. Its only a short 
climb, but once your there you can see your next walkway you need to get too. 

Do a backflip and Lara will land on the edge of it, notice it has retractable
spikes though. Pull up and providing you stand right on the edge, you won't
get hurt. Just wait until the spikes are gone and then run as fast as you can
to the right hand side, climb out the pit. Pick up the large medipak. Go 
straight on and roll through the small gap. Use the save crystal here. 

Plant a stick of dynamite at the wall, and stand well back quickly. Kill the
scorpion that is waiting for you on the other side. Head onwards, climb up the
two ledges and then ascend the ladder. While on the ladder, press "Select" to
get out your pistols and shoot the bat that is above you. When nearly at the 
top, backflip off the ladder to the walkway on the left. Collect the heavy 
bullets and the small medipak. Climb up the ledge on the left and shoot another
bat.

Go forwards and slide down the slope, when near the bottom of it you will stop
next to a pile of bones. There's a skeleton warrior waiting in ambush just here
so you've been warned. Go forwards again and you'll see a door, go inside. On
the other side, run to the left, after a while you will be under a ladder. Pick
up the dynamite here. Go left now, drop off the ledge and walk past the pile
of bones. Use the save point. There is no need to shoot the switch here as all
it does is open up the trap doors on this walkway which contain spikes at the 
bottom. 

Advance on now, and you shall come to a wall which can be blown. Use your 
dynamite on it. Go through it and drop down off the walkway, run left over the
trap door and climb up the wall here in the way. Drop down the other side. Go
down the small ladder here and a bat will arrive, shoot it and then descend
down the next ladder. Go left and take out the scorpion. Roll through the small
gap and drop off the end of this walkway.

Pick up the nearby medipak and make your way to the right, drop down and kill
the mummy. Thought you'd seen the last of them, didn't you? Drop off this 
walkway and you will be on a path, to your left is a wall, but it can't be 
dynamited yet as we don't have any and to the right is ledge, go up it and 
dispose of the two bats that are here. Go into the next pit, but duck to avoid
the arrow firers, when its clear go right and climb out.

To the right is a save point, use it as always. There's some useful dynamite to
the left of it too. Grab it and go to the end of the walkway. Shoot the leaver
here and some platforms will be activated in front of you. Jump across to the
first one, and then like a set of stairs drop down to the next one, and then
the next one. On the 3rd platform, do a running jump to the ledge opposite. Go
to the platform under this one and then drop down off the right of this one to
land on another ledge. 

Basically, using the ledges and platforms make your way safely down to the 
bottom. Don't drop though as there a spikes here. Instead, use the platforms
as stairs. Once on the lowest level, use the platforms to jump across to the
left of this area. You'll get so far and run out of ledges, when the spikes 
retract, run off to the left and you will see another switch to be shot. Once
here, your safe from the spikes. Shoot the switch and move on.

Go left, there are two skeleton warriors here, so kill them. Move on and climb
the wall, drop down off the other side. Go down the small ladder here but avoid
the arrow firers. Backflip off it at the bottom. Go right and climb up the 
wall. There's 2 scorpions here. Drop into the pit and climb out the end. Run
ahead and roll through the gap. Climb up the small ladder here and go through
the door at the top. 

When you come out, jump out to the platform and drop down to the one below. 
Like before, use the ledges as stairs, dropping down to the ones below and then
moving on. When near to the spikes at the last platform, use it as a run up and
jump to the save point opposite. 

From this platform, stand on the far right of it. Jump across to the walkway
that is hidden by a tunnel. Go through the tunnel and collect the large medipak
and heavy bullets. Head back to the platform with the save point on. Now, using
the platforms climb upwards. Once at the top jump off the last one to the right
and you will be on a walkway with a switch. Flick it.

Climb back down to the save point safely. Run and jump off this platform to the
one on the left. Now, advance upwards. Back to the door you used to enter this
area. Go out, and drop off the ledge of the walkway. Climb up the ledges just
right of the ladder and the door will now be open. Go through and press the
switch. The door behind you will close.

Go forward and drop down the ladder. Run forward and shoot the mummy that is
here. Run forwards some more and a Reaper will be here, as long as you
are prepared (rapid bullets) you will be fine. Kill him and move on. Climb up
the ledge and go through the door. When you come out the other side, pick up 
the small medipak and drop down off the ledges here to the left. Run forward
and you will be at a save crystal, use it and quickly kill the advancing mummy.

Climb up out the ledge on the left and go forward. You will be at a small 
tunnel which you need to roll through, but before you do wait. Kill the 
scorpion that is about to run out. Roll through it slightly and there will be
another one, kill it and climb up the ledge. Run near to the end of this walk-
way and there will be a skeleton warrior, shoot him and do a running jump to 
the ladder opposite.

Descend down it slowly and underneath the walkway you were just on is a tunnel,
backflip over to it and collect the large medipak and the heavy bullets. Drop
down now and go right, head down all the ledges and you will come to an pit 
which contains two scorpions, shoot them both and pick up the small medipak in
the middle. Go right and head onwards. Be careful though, when you get to a 
certain point you will see a bridge, just as your about to step on it the
platforms will retract.

They don't come back, so lower yourself into the pit with the snake. As long as
you don't move you should be fine, shoot the snake and go forwards. At the 
right side there is a pile of bones, at the back you should just be able to see
a skeleton sticking out. Edge near to wake him up and then kill him. Climb out
at the right, before you move on from the top, grab the large medipak.

Go right and drop down off a platform, go forwards and there is another warrior,
kill him like usual. Go right, drop down the few ledges, ensure you pick up the
heavy bullets on the one ledge, the final ledge contains a save crystal. Use it
as there is a Reaper below. Get out your pistols with the rapid 
bullets and drop down, use the same tactics you've used before to waste this
wizard. 

Head left and drop off the ledge, a bat will turn up from the bottom of the 
screen, take him out. Head forwards and you will see a set of trap doors, run 
at them and they will open, don't stop running and just before the end perform
a roll and Lara will fall down and begin sliding down the slope. If you don't 
do this, Lara will slip and slide to her death. If done right, Lara will slide
down the slope, just before the end, jump. You will come to land on a walkway
with two slopes either side and a large medipak. A bat may arrive, so shoot it
and slide down the slope on the right.

Don't miss the two sets of heavy bullets and medipak in the secret tunnel at 
the bottom here. These items are contained in a tunnel. To find it, just head
right and you should find the ledge to climb up.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

When you land, head right. Stand on the floor tiles to make them crumble and
press the switch in the pit. Use the save point, the door above will open up.
Go through the door and climb up the ledge, pick up the medipak. Roll through
the small gap and run forwards. At the end here is some raipd bullets, collect
them and head back to the right. Climb up the small ladder, dodge the arrow
firer. Advance up the next ledge and the ladder after that.

Once at the top, backflip over to the walkway on the left. Pick up the "Door
Key" and shoot the switch. The trap doors above will open up, jump up and pull
yourself up to them. Just to the left up here is a small pile of bones, sneakly
hidden behind them is a large medipak. Grab it and then shoot the leaver above
you. Climb down the ladder and run forwards at the bottom here, at the end
is another switch. Press it and a ladder to the next of you will appear.

If you were to go up it, you would come to a dead end for the time being. So 
instead we need to backtrack. Remember this area that contains the altar. We
need to get the key for it now. Okay, I'll try and keep this is as simple as 
possible. Go back up the ladder and to the open set of trap doors you fell down
and then used the slopes to slide down. Jump across the other side of it and
just backtrack. 

Just keep climbing and making your way back. Your goal is to get back to the
area that had those retractable spikes and many platforms above. Basically, get
there and make your way up to the top. Jump off to the left and you will be at 
a save point if your in the right place. Save and then move on. Just keep going
left and you will eventually run into a wall which can be dynamited, so do so.

Once its blown, run through and dodge the arrows. Go to the end and climb up
the ladder. When at the top, flick the switch. This will activate the ladder
directly above you on the walkway. Make your way up to it. Climb up the ladder
all the way to the top. When near the top, backflip over to the doorway on the
right, use the key. As soon as it opens, go through it and press the switch, 
some platforms will appear.

Climb up the several platforms that will take you up to the top, on the left is
a secret tunnel. Go through it and claim the heavy bullets and the small 
medipak. Go back out the tunnel, and monkeyswing over to the other side. Press
the switch and go right through the tunnel. Pick up the stick of dynamite and
use it on the floor tiles. Go down the ladder as far as you can and backflip.

Lara will fall and the underneath trap doors will open, she will fall through
them and get hurt slightly, but its not too bad. Head right and climb over the
wall. Go down the ledge and run right. When you fall off the end, press the
switch just to your left under the walkway. Now run right and roll through the
small gap. When you come out, climb up the first ladder you see. Go right to 
the top, and use the save point. 

You should of, when climbing saw some platforms, jump over to the first one
and climb up the other two. When at the final one, jump over to the walkway and
press the switch. Now go back down, and the trap door that was guarding a 
switch directly below will have opened. Drop down and activate the switch. You
can at last pick up the alter key! Climb out of the pit, and go left. Roll
through the gap and climb up back onto the walkway. Head left.

Drop down into the newly opened pit and go through the door. You will notice
where we are now, that's right. The alter room. Run and jump over across to the
ladder, and advance down it. Go up to the alter, and use the key. You will
get another piece of the staff. Finally, to finish off the level, head back
up the way we came and go right. 

Roll through the gap, and jump across the pit. Climb up the ledge and go past
the door. Keep running and after a while, the level will end.

Mission 6 : The Royal Tombs C
===============================================================================

When the level begins, run to the right, drop off the ledge and roll through 
the gap. Use the save point here before going up the ladder. When going up the
ladder dodge the arrows. About halfway up, backflip over to the walkway on the
right. Kill the mummy here and collect the heavy bullets and small medipak. Go 
up the rest of the ladder now.

Head right and drop down the various ledges, when running you will see a
boulder fall right in front of you. Be careful as there will be a few of these.
Go right and up the ledge, another boulder will fall. Perform a running jump
over the gap here to the other side. Go down the ladder and to the left will
be a reaper, use some rapid bullets or heavy bullets to take him out. The best
method is to fall down past him, climb up the ladder about halfway and then
shoot him, heal if needed. 

Backflip off the ladder to his area, enter the secret tunnel and grab the small
medipaks. Drop down off the walkway and go left, so your backtracking the way
you came but on a underground walkway rather than the main floor. Climb down
the ladder you come to and shoot the bat, pick up the rapid bullets here too.
Go down the next ladder and go right, you will be standing next to a trap door,
shoot the switch above it and it will open. Drop down and take on another 
reaper.

Once he's dead go left, drop down off the ledge and pick up the dynamite, press
the switch here too. Just left of the switch is a small tunnel, roll through it
and you will have found a secret room, in it there is two clips off rapid
bullets. Once you've got them, go back to where you killed the reaper and go
right. To the right is a pit, ensure you lower yourself down into it as it 
houses two snakes, shoot them both and climb out the right hand side. Continue
going right and eventually you will see another set of trap doors, don't fall
down them when they open as all that is there is a spike pit. 

Jump across the few platforms and dodge the arrows too, at the end is a small
medipak. Climb up the ledge and make your way up the ladder. When at the top,
take a run up and jump over to the walkway on the left. Plant a stick of 
dynamite on the wall and get out of the blast range. Once its blown, go through
and you will be on a ledge, below is a small pile of bones, which we have come
to know as a skeleton warrior, drop down and quickly jump past him. You will of
awoken two of them, its pretty hard to not get hurt here, but instead do your
best. When they are both dead, climb out on the left and go through the door.

In the new area, climb up the left hand side of the pit. You will see a new 
booby trap, a diagonal arrow firer that is covering the switch. Quickly when it
is safe, press the switch and make your way over to the right hand side of the
pit. There is another switch here, press it. Basically, the switch on the right
opens the switch on the left, and vice versa. You can't go left yet as there
is no ladder, so instead go right. At the end there will be a switch, and a 
save point. Use both. 

Go to the left now, and climb up the new ladder. Ignore the walkway to the 
right for now, its all blocked off. Slide down the slope here and Lara will 
slide down several slopes and come to a rather abrupt stop. Pick up the large
medipak here. Go right and drop down the few ledges. Go all the way right, and
press the switch here. It won't open the door but instead the trap doors to the
left will open. Notice the important statue in this area.

Go to the left and go down the ladder. Drop off the ledge and duck, roll to the
right and pick up the heavy bullets at the end. Climb up the wall here and go
right. You will get shot at by a reaper, get out your rapid bullets and take 
him out. Head forwards, climb up the ledge and press the switch. Go back to
the small tunnel where you go the heavy bullets, roll through. 

When you come out back to the ladder you came down, go left. Roll through the
small gap here. Climb up the ladder, backflip over to the right ledge and press
the other switch here. Now go back to the main ladder and climb up to the main
area. When at the top of the ladder, go to the right and through the newly 
open door, use the save point. Go up the ledge, and do a running jump over this
trap door as if you fall down them you die.

Use the few platforms above you to make your way up. On the 3rd platform, you
will come under attack from a reaper. Get out your rapid bullets and shoot him.
Once he's dead, climb up the reaming platforms. When at the top, do a running
jump over to the walkway on the left. Climb up the ladder. Backflip over to the
walkway on the left. There's yet another reaper here, take him out as usual.
Make your way up the ladder and monkeyswing to the right. Press the switch here
before heading through the door. 

In this small section, roll through the little tunnel on the right to collect
two small medipaks. Now climb up the small lip on the left and press another 
switch, the trap door above you will open. Go through it and go right. Drop 
into the small dugout, and grab the door key. Okay, simple now. Go left and 
down the long ladder. You will be back in the area with two switches either 
side and the diagonal arrow firers. Go through the door and head left. When you
get to the gap jump across it and use the door key. Once the door opens, use
the save crystal. 

Jump across to the ladder and descend down it, dodge the arrows. Go down left
and drop down off the ledge. Lara will lock onto some leavers which can be shot
above, shoot them and go through the doors you just opened on the left. Drop 
off the ledge and pick up the large medipak. There is a fair few arrow firers
here, so be careful. Go down the ladder and go to the left of the pit, avoid
the arrows. Make your way up the ladder. 

When at the top, go left and over the floor tiles that can't be blown yet. Drop
off the ledge and go through the door. In this new area, go to the left and
make your way up the ladder. Dodge the arrows at the top and make your way 
back down the other side. On this walkway just run straight ahead and over 
the floor tiles, they will crumble but only lead to a spike pit. Use the save
point just at the end. 

This next bit is dodgy, slide down the slope and just before the gap leap 
across it and avoid your death. Lara will slide down a massive slope now, but
again there is another gap, jump across it and you will come to a stop. Fall
off the end and you will slide down again. Don't step on these floor tiles as
they too will crumble, instead jump over them and go to the right. Go past the
trap door and pull up at the ledge.

Kill the mummy here. Climb up the next ledge and you will find a save point. 
As soon as you've saved, go to the right and climb up the ladder, dodge the
arrow firers and go to the left. Press the switch here and before you go back
collect the ammo and health in the small tunnel to the far left. Go back to the
ladder and go down it. The trap door below will have no opened. Advance down
the ladder.

Once at the bottom follow the long walkway down and on the ledge to the right
you will run into a reaper, kill him and two bats will attack from the left.
Climb up above where the reaper was and press the switch. Do a running jump 
over to the walkway on the left. Head along and make your way up the ladder 
that is here. At the top, backflip over to the walkway. Climb up the wall and
you shall find a large medipak and some heavy bullets. 

Drop off at the end of the walkway here and you will awaken a skeleton, kill 
him before he has chance to attack you. Press yet another switch here. Okay, 
now go back to the long walkway at the bottom and go up the ladder. You might
as well use the save point on the left too. Now head up the same ladder you 
used before but this time go all the way up and through the newly opened trap
doors. Climb up the next ladder and avoid the arrows. Backflip at the top and
go to the left, you will find two sets of rapid bullets and a medipak. 

When you have them, go back down and to the save point. Once there go left and
drop down off the ledge. A trap door will open here. Go down it and Lara will
slide down a slope. You will fall on a tiny ledge next to a door, there's two
mummies down below so take them both out before heading up the ladder. At the
top you come across another save crystal, use it. Go to the right and drop down
you will see a reaper, use your rapid bullets to take him out. Run straight on
and you will see a strange statue, press "A" to collect the final piece of the
staff. 

For this next bit, go back to the slope and you will notice the door has 
opened. Go through it and activate the switch at the end. Now go back to the
save point and go to the right of it, the trap doors that were closed before 
are now open. Go into the pit and through the door. 

When back in this area, do a running jump over to the right. When you land just
keep heading right, eventually you come to another gap, leap over it. Leap 
across another gap that has a ladder and go up the ledge. You will see some 
blades, these are a trap, but as long as you never pressed any of the switches
in the nearby area you will be fine. Walk past them and drop down to a save
point.

Just down below is a mummy, shoot him and go left to find a secret room with
rapid bullets, some dynamite and some heavy bullets. Exit the secret tunnel and
go up the ladder on the right. Kill the bat and scorpion up here. Lower Lara 
down below to the walkway underneath you. Go left and press the switch. Now
head back to the blue door that was just to the right of the secret area, it 
is now open. Go through it and press the switch. 

Now go leftwards and down the first ladder you come to, if your in the right
place there will be a skeleton warrior, kill him and use the switch here too. 
You can get a small medipak here too. Time to head back to the large open area
on the right. On your way back you will notice the blade trap has began, do 
your best to dodge them. Basically, two well timed rolls will do it. 

When finally back at the lower walkway in this area lower yourself down off
the ledge and you will land on a platform. Basically, make your way down the
various platforms, use the look function to aid you. On the right you will see
a way that has a mummy on, kill him and follow it. Drop down the ladder at the
end and press the switch here. Make your way back up the platforms and the door
on the right will now be open. Go inside and find some rapid bullets and a 
large medipak. 

Drop down using the platforms and get to the platforms on the lowest level, go
to the far right and jump out. You should miss the spikes and land on a walkway
below. Go to the left and drop into the pit, here is a scorpion, deal with it
before he has chance to sting you. Climb out the other end and head through
the door. 

Welcome to the new flooded area. What you should do first off is use the save
point at the start. Take one step in front of it and jump outwards. This means
you will miss the spikes on the side of the wall when you fall. Take a deep
breath and swim down.

This flooded area contains loads of enemies, such as jellyfish and ells, I 
won't be pointing them out but trust me there is loads. So, when following this
section off the guide, make sure you dodge them.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

When swimming down, you will hear an ell, when you do there should be a way to
swim on the right. Swim to the right and pick up the ammo and large medipak. 
Just above you is an air pocket, however there is some arrow firers, dodge them
and go for air. Swim back to the tunnel you just came down from. 

Just keep on swimming down, you should see a clip of rapid bullets on a 
platform so swim over them to pick them up. Now swim with a north right 
direction. Its very hard to describe this, but basically swim up and eventually
you should come to an air pocket. When your ready, carry on swimming back up. 
Just up you should come across a switch, press it. 

Now go back to the air pocket. Now for this bit, swim down the shaft your in
and go to the left once at the bottom. When in the column on the right, swim
up it and do your best to avoid the arrows. I found sticking to the left wall
the best method. When at the top of this section you will see the door you
opened, go in it to collect the door key. Surface for air just to the left. 

There's another shaft on the right of this one, swim down the shaft your in
currently and stick to the right. Soon you will see the tunnel to access it,
swim through it and you will find another air pocket. Surface for air and then
make your way up the column. Stick to the right and you will find a small 
medipak and another air pocket.

When your ready, go back on your quest up the flooded shaft. There is an air
pocket on the left and a small medipak on the right. Continue going up and when
you can't go any further go to the left. Flick the switch here. Now work your
way down this shaft, when near the bottom you need to find the now open door
on the left. Swim through it. Keep going to the right and you will see a jelly
-fish guarding a large medipak and some heavy bullets. Pick them up and carry
on through the tunnel.

This bit of the shaft has arrow firers, swim up the middle and do your best to
avoid them. Once at the top go left and climb out the water. Grab the small
medipak and use the save point. Grab onto the ledge here but don't go up yet
as you will have awoken a skeleton warrior, when he's got your back to him go
up and kill him. Climb up the ladder and backflip over to the left and finally
go through the door.

On the other side of the door go to the left, make your way up the ledges. At
the end of the walkway you will see some platforms that retract and two 
scorpions below you. Drop down and kill them both. Climb out the ledge on the
right, you will find a save point just above too. To the right of the save area
is a wall which can be blown, but above it there is a reaper. Hop up and waste
him using your rapid bullets. 

Climb up the ladder, and when at the top, press the switch. Make your way back
down and go left. You need to get to the area that has those retractable 
platforms. Its a bit hard to do, but quickly make your way up and if you time
it right you should be on a ledge next to a ladder. Climb up, you will be hit
by an arrow at least once, its impossible to dodge. Once at the top, go left
and pick up the heavy bullets, and a large medipak. Get the goods on the right
too. Do a running jump over to the right, pick up the dynamite and small 
medipak. Run back to the wall which can be dynamited.

Plant some dynamite and blow it. Through here is another reaper, ready to 
ambush you. Quickly pull out your pistols with rapid bullets and dispose of 
him. Jump across to the ladder and go down it. A few bats will turn up. Drop 
down the next ledge to the left. You will find a locked door, use you key to 
open it. Go forwards and press "A" on the altar.

Once you've got it, run to the left to complete the level.

Mission 7 : Treasure Chambers A
===============================================================================

When you begin, run to the right and use the save point. Go right and up the 
ledge. Shoot the switch and the trap doors will open, drop down below and go 
either side of the two snakes quickly to avoid too much damage, shoot them and
then collect the small medipak on the right and flick the switch on the left.
Climb out and go through the door. 

Go right and up the large ledge, shoot the switch and some platfomrs nearby 
will be available. Make your way up the platforms, its not too hard to dodge 
the arrows. When at the top, jump over to the left. From here, jump up and grab 
onto the bars and monkey swing over to the right hand side. Kill the bat and
snake here, press the switch before heading back over to the left. Go through
the door.

Quickly kill the scorpion that is here. Go left and up the ledge, begin going
up the ladder. Once at the top, backflip over to the right and shoot the pesky
bat. Jump back over to the ladder and climb up the last bit, use the save point
and begin sliding down the slope. When at the bottom, shoot the snake. Do a 
running jump from here so that Lara grabs onto the ceiling, monkeyswing over to
the left and climb down the ladder.

Just before the end of it is a booby trap, retractable spikes, backflip over to
the platform and drop down. There are two scorpions here to kill. Go to the
right and drop down off the walkway. Another scorpion here, so kill him and go
to the far right. Press the switch and the blue door on the left will open. Go
past it you will find another switch. Hit that, and go through the doorway. 

On this small area, crouch down. When there are no spikes on the side of the 
walkway, roll off the end and you shall fall into the pit you just opened. Go
to the right and through the doorway. Go left, and you will come to a drop and
a walkway above you. Climb up to the walkway and advance up the ladder. There 
will be a bat and a scorpion here for you to kill. Just above where the 
scorpion was, is a save crystal. Use it. 

Climb up the ledge to the left, jump across to the small area on the right and
you will find some heavy bullets and a small medipak. Jump back to the right
walkway and kill the snake. Run onwards and you will find another one. Go as
far as you can and you will get to a blue door, drop down to the walkway below
and slide down the slope. Go to the right and you will find someone...

Lara:        "Don't move please"

Gold Hunter: "Who are you? What are you doing here?

Gold Hunter: "Don't hurt me! I'm just a gold hunter I don't want any trouble.

Lara:        "How do I get lower into the temple?

Gold Hunter: "The legends say that there is a room with sun and moon statues.
              You must insert amulets into the statues to continue. But it is 
              too dangerous! I never go near this!

Lara:        "Get out! The curse has awoken the guardians and you must go NOW!

[The Gold Hunter flees]


To the right is a door which can be blown. Plant some dynamite on it and jump
well back. Head inside to pick up the door key. Now run to the far left of this
section and go up the ladder. When at the top backflip over to the right area.
Collect the dynamite and large medipak. Press the switch. Now run back to where
we got the door key and the door will be open. Climb up the ledge and go into
the doorway. 

When in this area, go left and climb out the pit. Once on the top walkway go to
the right and up the ledge. Climb up the platforms and dodge the arrows. When
at the top, monkeyswing over to the right. Go through the door and up the ledge
here. Make your way up the ladder. Just before the top, backflip over to the 
walkway on the right. Use the door key to open the door. Go through and wait 
for the retractable spikes to disappear before running past. 

The spikes come from the ground, and the ceiling. So survey the area before 
moving. At the end you will come to a slope, wait for the spikes on the side to
go before sliding down. On a flat section you will find a save point and a 
small medipak. Slide down the next slope and you will fall and land next to two
snakes. Kill them both and ascend the ladder on the left. After a long climb, 
shoot the switch at the top and go back down to the area with the snakes. The
door will now be open.

Head through the door and shoot the scorpion. Run forwards and you will find 
another scorpion. Climb up the ladder at the end. When the ladder runs out,
backflip over to the ladder on the left. Climb up that and avoid the arrows.
When at the top, go left and up the ladder here. Backflip over to the walkway
on the right and climb up to the walkway above. Be careful as there's a 
scorpion here. From here, shoot the ceiling switch above. Now head back down.
The trap doors below will be open. Go down the ladder. 

Those circle things on the side of the wall are arrow firers. So time it so
you miss them. At the bottom you will find a door key. Go to the left and you 
can pick up some rapid bullets and a large medipak. There's nothing else to do
here so climb back up to the ledge where you shot the ceiling switch.

From here go up the ledge on the left and up the wall. Drop off the end and you
will run into a new enemy. For this guide I will be calling him a mercenary.

Mercenaries are one of the toughest enemies you will have encountered. They too
have dual pistols, they are not too strong defence wise however they can as 
they carry guns do a fair bit of damage. Crouch down to avoid some of their 
shots and blast away. Heal if needed.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Run to the end of this area and climb up the wall. Drop down off the left and
you will find a small medipak. Continue going left and you will run into a 
ladder. Go up it. At the top will be two bats. So waste them. Advance up the
nearby ladder. When at the top, you shall see a locked blue door. Go to the
left over the gap. After following this walkway you come to a locked door. Use
the key to open it. Drop off the walkway and there is a save point here. 

Roll through the small gap and climb up the small ladder to find a large 
medipak. Here in this area is the two doors the Gold Hunter spoke off, the Sun
and Moon doors. From what I know, it doesn't matter what way you attempt these
two areas, however for this guide I'll will be going through the first door.
(Sun area).

Enter the door and go left. Run over the floor tiles and you will come to a
save point. Just past it is a snake, so shoot him. Take a running jump from 
here and go down the ladder. Kill another snake here. At the end of the walkway
is some heavy bullets. Crouch down and pick them up, you will also avoid the
arrows. Drop off this ledge and crouch again, go left and shoot the snake. Roll
through. Climb up the wall here and drop down the other side, behind the gold
pile is a small medipak. Now run back to the floor tiles near the start. (If 
you don't have any dynamite there will be some here)

When there, plant a stick of dynamite on them and jump back. Go down the ladder
now. Take a running jump from this walkway over to the right hand side ladder.
Go up it and backflip at the top to find some more heavy bullets. Now head down
the ladder and go to the left. You will find a save point. Just to the right of
the save point is a secret tunnel, roll through it to claim two small medipaks.

Go left of the statue and climb up to the higher walkway. To get past the dodgy
blade trap, crouch down and roll when the coast is clear. Basically there are
a few spikes and blades to dodge like this. When at the end you will find a
large medipak. Above you are a series of ledges, make your way up them and try
not to get hit by the arrow firers. On your way up collect the small medipak. 

You come to a ladder, go up it and you should see a ceiling switch. Shoot it 
and the trap doors above will open. Climb out. On the right, shoot the nearby
ceiling switch. There is 3 walls which can be blown just to the right of here,
but we don't have any dynamite yet. Now, make your way back to the large statue
near to the save point.

From here, go along the lower walkway. You come to a area that requires you to
roll through, however it has arrow firers. Time it so you roll through safely.
When at the end, pick up a small medipak. Climb up the ledge and up the ladder.
At this point, jump across to the right, and go up the ladder. Monkeyswing over
to right and you will see another mercenary. Drop down and shoot him. Go
through the door he was guarding. 

Quickly shoot the fast scorpion that speeds towards you. Once he's dead, go to
the left and up the ledge. Take out another scorpion. Drop down to find yet 
another scorpion. There's some rapid bullets and a large medipak here too. No
point killing the snake above you as there's nothing there if you already have
some dynamite. If not, you will have to kill him to claim so dynamite. Go back
and through the door we came through. Drop down and jump across the gap to the
area on the left. Roll through the small gap and go over the wall. Climb up
the ledge an go up the ladder. 

Backflip at the top and press the switch. A bat will arrive so blast him. Go
back and when at the small gap that you need to roll through stop. Climb up the
ladder here. At the top you will find the door you just opened. Climb up the
walkway above and mount the ladder. A bat will arrive, shoot it and carry on. 
Use the platform here to get past the retractable spikes and use the save 
point.

Now, use the platforms to climb to the top. Jump over to the left and enter the
door. Drop down off this platform to pick up a small medipak. To the left of
here is a large one too. On the right is a wall. Stand on it and shoot the
ceiling switch. Drop down and pick up the rapid bullets. Now exit via the door
and go to the save point to the right of the spikes. Head through the open 
door. Run straight on and over the pit. Dodge the spikes and plant some a stick
of dynamite on the first wall. Jump back and it will blow. 1 down, 2 to go. 

Return back to the left and go up the platforms, enter the door at the top to
find a stick of dynamite. Collect it, and make your way back to the walls. Use
it and repeat this again. 

Once the final wall has blown, run straight on as far as you can. You come to
a snake guarding a large medipak. Kill it and pick the medipak up. Just above
the walkway your on is a save point. Climb up and flick the switch on the ledge
just nearby. Head back to the left where the 3 walls were, there is a ladder on
this side. Climb it and go through the open door. Kill the snake, press the
switch and pick up the small medipak. Run back to the left and the trap doors
in the centre of the room will be open. 

Drop into the pit and pick up the "Sun Amulet". Now, were done in this area,
time to take on the "Moon" area. I'll direct you back to the start of the moon
area if you don't know where to go. Go left as far as you can, over the gaps
and down the ledges. Then drop down the ledges and head right. If you come to
the small tunnel with many arrow firers to roll through you know your on track.
Climb up the ledge on the left and go up the ladder. Backflip onto the walkway
and go up the ladder here. Your now back near the start. Jump across to the 
right and go through the door. 

Use the save point before heading through the moon door. Go forwards and drop
down the ledge. You find another save point here. Jump across the gap and wait
for the spikes to retract. Move to the right and jump to the next platform. Do
the same on the following platforms, wait for the spikes to clear and move to
the edge. Jump over to the next platform. When you get to the last platform a 
bat will arrive. Kill him and jump across to the walkway. Two more bats turn
up. Go up the ladder.

There will be some blades, dodge them by rolling through. At the end, slide 
down the slopes and you will fall onto a save point. Take a run up and perform
a running jump over to the ladder. Edge down it and backflip to the first ledge
you see on the left. It has a locked blue door and a large medipak. Pick it 
up. Run and jump back onto the ladder, edge down it some more. Quickly lock 
onto ceiling switch on the left and shoot it. The locked blue door above will
now be open, so head through it. 

Drop off the ledge and duck, its important you do this to avoid the retractable
spikes. Roll when the ledge below you is clear and duck when you land, this is
again to avoid the spike traps. Drop into the bottom pit and wait, when the 
arrows have been fired quickly run across and pull up the left ledge. There is
an exact copy of the ledges/traps here that were on the right so use the same
tactics to get to the top. When at the top, climb up the wall and drop down. 

You'll find a small medipak here and a snake guarding the path. Shoot it and
climb up the first ladder you come to. Backflip at the top and you will find
a small medipak and some heavy bullets. Now head back down the ladder and climb
the ladder to the far left. Again, when at the top press the switch. The two 
trap doors below will open. Drop down through both of them. Use the save point
here. Run to the right and pick up a large medipak and a stick of dynamite. 

Go to the left and plant the dynamite on the wall. Jump back and once its blown
run through. Pick up the door key and run back to where you just got the 
dynamite from for another stick. Once you have it, run back to where you got
the key and plant the final stick of dynamite on the wall. Jump back. When the
wall crumbles run through, get out your pistols and shoot the scorpion. Just on
this walkway is some heavy and rapid bullets. 

Climb up the wall at the left, and jump over to the walkway in the middle. 
Crouch down on here to avoid the spikes and collect the large medipak in the
middle. Make your way to the right of this walkway and jump onto the ladder. Go
up it and shoot the ceiling switch at the top. Once you have, backflip to the
left and you should fall onto a walkway with an open door. Head through and
press the switch. What you have just done is activated some platforms on the
far left. 

Go down the ladder and drop off at the bottom. Go to the left and climb up the
wall, don't go through the door instead climb up the new platforms you just
made. When at the top, shoot the ceiling switch and the door will open. Jump 
through and crouch down to avoid the spikes and pick up the "Moon Amulet". Now
head down the platforms and through that door. When you emerge use the save
point and run to the right.

Use the door key to open the door and press the switch here. Just above your
head is a tiny ladder. Jump up and grab it, when at the top go through the 
door. When you come out the other side drop off the end to find a save crystal.
Go to the left and roll through the gap. From here, climb up the ladder on the
wall near you. Monkeyswing over to the platform and drop down, kill the two 
snakes on here. There are some medipaks in the middle of those blades but to
be honest it's too much hassle getting them so you might as well miss them. 

Go up the ladder on the right. You need to make your way down here, its pretty
tricky but time it right and you should be fine. Crouch and roll to miss the
spikes. Once at the bottom, kill a scorpion that appears and move to the left. 
Watch out as there's another one here. Once they are both dead climb over the
wall and you will find another save point. Just ahead is two blades, they are
simple to avoid if you time it right and roll through. From here you should
see a mercenary below. 

Grab the small medipak here and quickly dart across this section to avoid the
arrows. At the end of the walkway you should be able to see ceiling switch.
Shoot it and some platforms will be revealed. Jump across to the first one and
lower yourself down. A few platforms later (You also need to dodge the arrows)
you come to the final platform jump over to the left and use the switch, ensure
you stay to the left as there are retractable spikes to the right. Now quickly
make your way up the platforms.

At the top, jump over to the walkway on the right. The trap doors here will 
have no opened. Use the ladder to go down. Backflip near the bottom to land on
the walkway on the right. Advance up the ladder to find the mercenary. He has
a machine gun, so crouch down and upload some bullets into him. (I used heavy
bullets). Climb down the ladder. You should see a sun statue and a moon statue.
Run over to both of them and place the amulets inside them. The trap doors in
the middle will open. Drop down.

Mission 8 : Treasure Chambers B
===============================================================================

When you begin, roll through the secret tunnel to the right and you will find
a small room with some heavy bullets and a small medipak. Roll back out and to
the left is a save point. Jump over the trap doors and they will open. Here is
a blue door. Behind the pillar is a switch. Press "A" behind it and the door 
will open. Roll through the gap and above on two ledges either side is a 
medipak and dynamite on the left and some heavy and rapid bullets on the left. 

When you have them head back out the door and drop down through the trap doors.
Go to the left and you will see some blades, crouch down and time it right to
roll through. Along the way you will pick up a small medipak. At the end jump
over to the platform and lower yourself down to the one below. Here is a
mercenary, so you need to kill him. Head to the right and you wil see some 
monkey bars. Jump up and swing over. 

When you see a platform with a large medipak drop down. Collect it and nearby
a mercenary will walk by. From here, get out your pistols with heavy bullets 
and shoot him. Drop down to where he was and climb up the ladder. At the top,
you will see some blades that aren't working right now and past them a save 
point. Use it and press the switch. Time to make our way back, be careful as
the blades are now working. Crouch and roll past them. Go down the ladder and
over the spike pit via the monkey bars. 

When at the end the trap doors will be open. Head down the ladder. Once at the
bottom you should come to a large gap. Lower yourself down it. On the right is
a wall which can be blown. Plant some dynamite on it. Run through to pick up
a small medipak and some heavy bullets. There's another wall that needs to be
destroyed so run to the far left. You'll find a stick of dynamite, head back 
to the second wall and use it. When it falls, climb up the wall and go to the
right. 

You come to a ladder so climb it. Make your way up the ledge and there will be
some floor tiles. Run over them and they will crumble. If your on the far right
you will be on a tiny ledge. Jump over to the left and go down the ladder. At
the bottom roll through the gap and pick up the dynamite and heavy bullets. Go
back to the top of the ladder and from here there is a platform above you. 

Pull up to it but duck, you will avoid being hit by an arrow. Quickly climb up
to the one above. Basically, repeat this for a while and you will eventually
find the walkway. On the right you will find a door key and a switch. Press it.
The door on the pillar to the left will have opened. Jump over to it and go
down the ladder. There will be a save point at the bottom. On the right is a
locked door and you have the key to open it. Jump over and unlock it. Press the
switch inside and then climb the ladder. 

At the top you will find a mercenary. Quickly unload your heavy bullets into 
him. Once he's dead move on. At the end of this walkway you will see a ceiling
switch. Shoot it. Drop off the end of the ledge and run through the door. Take
note of this room with the snake statue. Now time to head backtracking. Make 
your way back to the room with the many platforms that we climbed up. The trap
doors at the top will be open. Head through and enter the door. 

When this section begins, run to the right and drop off the ledge. Go to the
right and you come to a walkway just below to the left and one above you. Climb
up and you can collect a large medipak. Just onwards for the medipak is a snake
so shoot him before dropping down. There's a save point here. Use it and on the
left will be a pit with two scorpions and a small medipak in. From your walkway
shoot them both and drop in to pick the medipak up. Once you have it climb up
the ladder next to the save point.

There's some rapid bullets up here. Once you've got them run to the right and 
find some heavy bullets. Using your heavy bullets shoot the mercenary in the
section below. Drop in and climb up the ledge and you'll see another mercenary.
Quickly climb up and shoot him. When he's hit the dirt, run onwards. Pick up 
the medipak you come to and get your pistols out with heavy bullets. You'll 
come under fire now, so quickly roll and shoot the enemy on the end of this 
walkway. 

Start making your way down the ladder. After a while the ladder ends and your
left standing on a small ledge. However, there's another ladder here but this
time is has arrow firers on the right, so climb down and time it so you avoid
getting hurt. At the bottom roll through the small gap. To the right on this
path is a wall which can be destroyed so plant some dynamite on it. As soon as
it falls run through. Pick up the medipak and continue heading down. 

This next part has a closed set of trap doors, just to the right is a switch.
Activate it and drop down, however you need to do it so you miss the spikes 
and crouch in the lower left hand corner. Otherwise you will get hurt by the
sets of spikes. Once you have it, make your way back to where we planted the
dynamite. Go to the left now and head down the ladder. There is a stick of
dynamite and a save crystal here. 

Run forwards and there's a wall with a mercenary on, equip your heavy bullets
and climb up. Dispose of him the best you can. On the other side of the wall,
run to the left. When you see a ladder stop, and go up it. At the top of the
ladder go to the right. Drop into the pit and press the switch on the left of
it and the door to the right will open. Run through and climb the ladder, about
halfway up a bat will turn up. On your way up is a ledge, stop and collect the
small medipak before going on. 

Backflip when at the top and move along the walkway. There are two scorpions
here. Kill them and climb up the small ladder before backflipping over to the
walkway on the left. From here there is a save point and a ceiling switch. 
Shoot the switch and use the save point. Now, this next bit is tricky to do. On
your left is a load of blades and spikes. Do your best to make it through 
without getting hurt. Heal if you need to. At the end drop down and you will
fall.

Climb up the small ledge on the right and plant some dynamite on the wall. Once
its blown, before heading through shoot the ceiling  switch. Go through and jump
over to the ladder, start going down it. Down here you'll find some medipaks 
and a clip of heavy bullets. Climb back up and out this room. Now, back at 
where we fell down, drop down here. As you do a trap door will open and you'll 
get slightly hurt when you land. Anyway, time to move on. Climb up the ladder
of the shaft you just fell down. From here go to the left. (If you want to 
avoid the fairly big drop, lower yourself down off the above ledge).

Climb up the first ledge you see with the small medipak on. Pick it up and 
begin climbing the ladder. Dodge the arrow firers. There's a mercenary at the
top here so be ready. Edge up and lock onto him, using your heavy bullets he
should go down in two shots. Walk along the ledge he was on and drop down. 
There's a small medipak here for the taking. Jump over to the switch on the
left and a bat turns up. Shoot him and press the switch. Another bat will show
itself.

The ladder nearby the switch your next to now is your next obstacle. Climb down
it but avoid the arrow firers on the left. When at the bottom pick up the small
medipak and go through the open door on the left. Make your way over this gap
and use the save point. Now climb down the ladder on the right and go through 
the open door. Run and jump up to the first ledge you see here, just before the
second open door and press the switch. Now, get back to the save point.

Climb the ladder and backflip over to the walkway on the right. Kill the 
scorpion here. Climb up the ledge above and next ledge. Another ladder here so
advance up. Notice the open blue door on the right. Run through to find the
"Snake Key". Drop and lower yourself down back to the Save point. From here
go down the ladder and run past the ledge we were just up and used the switch.
Now, just keep running to the right and when you come to a wall climb over and
carry on. Use the save point and if you don't have any dynamite there is some
just here. Go up the ladder. 

I won't go into too much detail here, but once up here go in a west direction
across the top of the level and you need to get to the door we used to get into
here. Its really the only door up here. Once there, go through and you'll be 
back above the red platforms. Remember the snake statue? Well go down the
ladder on the left, jump across the gap and go up another ladder. Head to the
left and you'll find it. Press "A" on the left side of it to use the "Snake 
Key" and the Snakes eye will fall. You acquire the "Snake Eye". Head through
the newly opened door on the left. 

In this new area, climb up the ladder and use the save point. Climb down the
ladder on the other side and drop down off the ledge. Go to the right. After 
passing a special statue, drop off the end of the walkway and run over two sets
of trap doors. Go up the ladder. At the top, its a dead end so shoot the 
ceiling  switch. At the bottom jump over the first gap and use the ladder in the
next pit. Don't get off the ladder yet though, instead shoot the scorpion 
hanging around here. Once he's dead, drop down and you'll find another one.

Move on and climb up the small ladder. Use the save crystal at the top. There's
a ceiling  switch here. Shoot it and the nearby trap doors on this walkway will
open up. Make your way to the far left and go down the ladder. On this ledge,
jump over to the left and plant some dynamite on the wall. Jump off this ledge
to avoid getting hurt. When its safe, go up the ladder behind where the wall
used to be. In this secret area you'll find some heavy bullets and a small
medipak. Pick them up and go back down. 

Drop down the few ledges and pick up the stick of dynamite. Climb down a long
ladder and go to the right. Move on slightly and you'll see a mercenary 
guarding a switch on a small ledge. Pull yourself up and kill him by using your
heavy bullets. Press the switch and the blue door below will open. Before you 
drop down, climb up to the ledge above and use the switch here too. Now Run 
through the door and climb the ladder on the wall. Just before you pull 
yourself up onto the ledge stop and you will see a mercenary on the right.
Press select to get out your pistols and shoot him. 

Now climb up and go up the next ladder. Climb up the ledge and press the switch
this will open the trap door above. Climb out and go down the trap door on the
right closest to the ceiling  switch. Drop down and go to the right. Shoot the
snake and climb up the ledge. Kill the other snake here too. Run along and drop
off the end of the ledge. Jump off down to the next walkway and be ready to 
kill a mercenary. On the right is a large medipak. Head to the left and go down
the ladder, drop off the end of the walkway. 

Go to the right and climb up the wall, jump over to the long ladder and begin
working your way down. Run off the end of the ledge and go to the left. Climb
over the wall and drop down to the next walkway. Below you is a switch behind
a wall which needs to be dynamited. So plant some and jump back. When it
explodes run through and use the switch. Drop off the ledge and go to the right
past the not yet activated blades. Climb up the small ladder at the end to
find a stick of dynamite, large medipak, rapid bullets and some heavy bullets. 

Make your way back and up to the walkway just above the area we were just
exploring. You'll notice the trap door has opened, advance down the ladder to
find a door key. Climb out and go to the right and up the ladder. Flip over
to the wall and drop down, go to the left.  When you see a gap that you need
to roll through ignore it and climb up the small ladder above it. From here
shoot the snake and climb up the ledge above. Flick the switch here. Get back
to the small gap just below.

Roll through and the door is now open. Run straight on and past another open
door. Drop through the small gap of the open trap doors and use the save point.
In the pit just to the left is two scorpions, shoot them from where you are
before dropping down. Climb up the wall at the end and jump over to the ladder.
Begin going down it. On the ledge you end on, jump over to the left. From here
lower yourself down and you'll notice the spikes on the left will begin. 

Roll through past the blades just like being in Indiana Jones... Climb up the
ladder at the end. From the top, shoot the ceiling  switch. Now, time to face
the blades again. When your back you'll see the blue door has opened. Climb up
and press the switch, there's a large medipak here for the taking too. Again,
you've got to face the blades again. Climb back up to the switch but this time
backflip over to the right. 

This bits hard to do without getting slightly hurt. Jump over to the right of
the open trap door and lower Lara down into the pit. Don't fall yet, instead 
time it so you fall just as the spikes retract. Quickly run to the right and 
pick up the door key. Then it's just a case of getting back to the walkway
above without getting hurt too much. Make your way back and dodge the blades 
for the final time. Climb up the few ledges and the ladder. Backflip over to
the main section your back at the save point. 

Get out of the pit and climb up the long ladder on the left. Work your way up 
the ledges and begin climbing the ladder on the right. Where back at the 
walkway with the three trap doors. Jump over the gaps and pass the ceiling  
switch. There's another save point here if you want to save. Drop off the end
and run along to the right, climb up the ladder. From here, go to the left.

Go up the ledge and run for a while past the special statue and there will be
a ladder. Go up it and you'll be next to a save point. Do a running jump from
here over to the ladder on the left. Continue up it and you'll find there are
two ladders, one on each side. Climb the one on the left first and go as far as
you can. When you see the spike trap, backflip over to the ladder on the right.
At the top, wait for the ceiling  spikes to retract and then quickly move past.

Climb down the ladder here and drop down off the ledge. Run along to the right
and climb the ladder. On the right here, is a lock. Go up to it and use a key.
The trap door above opens. Go to the middle of the "V" shaped object and use
the "Snake Eye". The blue door opens, so go through it. Use the save point and
then slide down the slope. Just before the end jump and Lara misses the pit and
lands on a platform. 

Walk to the end, and turn around. Lower yourself down and let go. Lara will
begin sliding again. Just before the end jump again and you'll grab hold of the
ladder. Climb up it. At the top, go to the left and drop down. Run along and 
there will be another lock. Use the other key on it.

[A beam of light enters the temple at hits the blue crystal on the statue]

Climb up the small ledge on the left and go down the ladder. At the end drop 
down and go to the right towards the statue. Collect the "Panel Piece" on the
statue.

Mission 9 : Treasure Chambers C
===============================================================================

This is the final section of the "Treasure Chambers" so lets get it done. Run
forwards past the none active blades at when at the end the blades will start 
up. Drop off the end of the walkway and use the save point. Climb up the ledge
and move forwards slightly to dodge the arrows. Quickly time your movement to
get to the other side. Drop off the end and you'll land on some floor arrow 
firers. Jump off them and onto the ladder. When at the top, go to the right and
shoot the bat. Fall off the end of this walkway and pick up the large medipak.

Make your way up the ladder and once at the top shoot the two bats that turn
up. Head down the ladder on the other side. Lower Lara down off this ledge and
you will see a mercenary on the walkway below. From where you are shoot him. 
Drop down the next two ledges and there will be another mercenary at the end.
Once he's dead run along and there will be some retractable spikes protecting 
a ladder. Have a run up and jump over to the ladder, once on it begin climbing
up. From the top, shoot the ceiling  switch. 

Now, time to backtrack. Just make your way back as if you were going back to 
the start of the level. On your way (next to the floor arrow firers) you will
see the blue door you just opened. Head on through and grab hold of the ladder.
Start making your way down but time it so you miss the arrow firers. At the end
of the ladder, drop down. Go to the right and you'll see a pit heavily guarding
by arrow firers. Basically, do a running jump over to it and pull Lara up the 
right end quickly. 

Slide down the slope and you land in a pit with two snakes. Get to the far left
of the pit to avoid taking too much damage from the first snake and then kill
them both. Get out of the pit at the right end and pick up the small medipak.
Climb the ladder here and backflip just before the top. You land on a ledge to
the left. Climb this ladder too. When at the top, jump over to the walkway on
the right. Here is a switch (Use it) and a some heavy bullets.

Jump back over to the left and roll through past the slicing blades. Slide down
the slope. You land back in that pit with the many arrow firers. Quickly climb
out on the left and climb up the ledge here. The blue door that was locked 
earlier is now open. Run through and climb the ladder. After a fairly long 
climb pull yourself up onto the walkway. Get out your pistols and blast the
scorpion. You can pick up the small medipak too. Go to the left and lower Lara
down to the next platform, as soon as you land kill the scorpion before he has
too much chance to do any damage too you, use the save crystal. 

Climb down using the ledges below. When you land on the ledge with the scorpion
shoot it. On the ledge underneath is some heavy bullets. Pick them up but dodge
the diagonal arrows being fired at you. Finally, drop down to the main walkway
below. Run along to the right and go down a few ledges. You'll see a mercenary
in a pit. Get out your normal pistols and blast away as he can't reach you from
here. Go down into the pit but equip your heavy bullets as there's another 
mercenary at the end. Kill him and now run back to the left and climb out onto
the ledge. 

From here climb up the next ledge and use the monkey swing to make your way
over to the right. Once at the end, drop down and pick up the small medipak.
Lower Lara down from this platform onto the walkway below. Go to the right and
jump over this gap onto the ladder. Go down. Underneath the ladder is some 
retractable spikes so time it so that you roll over to the right. Here is a 
save crystal and a switch for you to press. Jump back over the spikes and 
continue up the ladder.

At the top, go to the right and drop down. Move on and climb up the wall, pick
up the small medipak on the top. Drop off the other side and kill the snake
here. Jump off the end here and get out your heavy bullets as there's a
mercenary at the bottom. Kill him and go to the left, in the open door is a key
so pick it up. Run out of the room and run forwards. Near to the large pile
of treasure is a large medipak, grab it and go back to the small ladder on 
the left.

Quickly climb the small ladder to avoid the arrows. Run along the left and over
the wall. Pull up the next ledge and go down the ladder. Use the door key on
the lock here. Wander through. Run along and climb up the wall, however don't
drop down as there's a mercenary here. Stay here and using your normal bullets
shoot him. Once he's dead drop down and go through the door. When on the other
side slide down the slope. When you finally end you'll be next to a pile of
gold. 

Move along to the left and climb up the ledge. From here pull Lara up to the
ledge above and enter the door. When in this area do a run up and leap over the
gap to the ladder on the left. Time your climb so that you avoid the arrows as
you make your way down. Once at the bottom use the save crystal. 

Lower yourself down to the ledge below and pick up the small medipak. Drop off
the end of the ledge and use the next ladder to go down. At the bottom there
will be a small area just past some blades with some heavy and rapid bullets 
and a large medipak. Roll past the blades and climb your way back up to the
top of this section. When you get to the second ladder follow it all the way 
up. From here monkeyswing over this large space and when you get to the save
point drop and quickly get out your heavy bullets. Dispose of the mercenary 
here. 

Use the save point and then go to the right. Flick the switch here and monkey
-swing back over to the left. About halfway over you will be in front of a 
large yellow object. Roughly in the middle of it let go. Trust me and you'll
land on a walkway, just as you do a trap door will open. Head down it. The 
first ledge you land on contains some rapid bullets so collect them. Lower 
Lara down to the ledge below and you will find some heavy bullets. Jump over to
the ladder and go down. Pick up the small medipak here. 

There's no point dynamiting this wall opposite as it is for if you were to 
advance this area via a different route. So continue making your way down and
when you finally get to the bottom walkway use the save crystal. Slide down
the slope here and just before the end jump. You land on a platform with some
spikes covering it. Climb up to the ledge above. Use the bars on the ceiling 
to monkeyswing over.

At the end, don't let go. Instead go into the inventory and select your heavy
bullets. This means as soon as you un-pause Lara will land and equip them much
more quickly. This should allow you to take out the mercenary here slightly
easier. On this ledge, turn around and drop Lara off the end. If done correctly
you should be sliding down a slope. Again, like usual, just before the end jump
and you'll clear the spikes. When you land run over to the far right. Plant a
stick of dynamite on the first wall. 

When it explodes run to the right, leap over the spikes and pick up an extra
stick of dynamite and a small medipak. Head back to the next wall and set the
bomb up there. There is actually another wall straight after that needs blowing
up too, so repeat the above step. When the final wall falls run through. Pull
yourself up to the ledge above (The one with the floor arrow firers). Dart 
along past them and climb up the ledge to claim a large medipak and some heavy
bullets. Drop back down to the main walkway and climb the ladder.

At the top there's some blades so roll through to avoid them and slide down
the slope. At the end will be some floor arrow firers so jump to miss them and
run through the door to finish this section.

When this area begins, run straight on past the pillars and go down the ladder,
use the save point before moving on. Drop down to the next ledge and pick up
the small medipak. Climb down the ladder here. Jump across the gap here and you
land on a platform. Get a run up and leap over to the left. Get out your heavy
bullets as you come under fire from a mercenary. Run along this corridor to
find a stick of dynamite and a switch. Press it and run back. Jump over the gap
and drop down on the right. Here is a wall which can be dynamited.

Once it's blown run through. The first thing you'll face is a mercenary so be
ready. At the end do a running jump onto the ladder. When at the top of the 
ladder backflip to the ledge on the left for a large medipak and some heavy 
bullets. Go to the edge of the ledge and turn around, lower Lara down to the
walkway below. Run back to where you blew up the wall. Climb out to the ledge
on the left and go to the left.

From here go down the ladder with the arrow firers on the left. Ensure you time
your descent so that you miss them. Once at the bottom run through the open 
blue door and equip your standard pistols. Shoot the snake here and climb up
the ledge. Also at the top shoot the snake here. Do a running jump onto the
ladder and go down. Miss the arrows being shot from the right. Drop down a few
ledges here on the right and use the save crystal. 

Monkeyswing onwards and drop down onto the platform with the snake. Shoot it
before heading down the ladder it was guarding. First off head through the 
door at the top of these 3 ledges. Run along and jump onto the ladder. Climb up
and once there go to the edge and jump down into the pit below. Make sure you
get right in the middle to avoid the spikes either side. Crouch down and pick
up the rapid bullets, the large medipak and some heavy bullets. Roll through 
the gap on the right and climb the ladder, be careful as there are arrows being
shot at you. Pick up the shiny object at the top (A gold bar) and shoot the
ceiling  switch. 

This has opened the door on the left so jump across and kill the snake. Leap 
over this pit here by doing a running jump and exit the way you came in. Drop
down the the second ledge and enter the second doorway now. 

You begin on top of a wall. Drop down to the left to use a save point. There's
some walls here that need destroying so climb back up the wall and drop down
to the right this time. You should be able to see the dynamite. Run straight
on and mount the ladder, quickly climb and dodge the several arrow traps around
here. Backflip when at the top to reach the dynamite. Once you have it drop
down and climb back over the wall to the left near the save point.

Plant the dynamite on the ground floor's wall first and then get out of the
blast radius. Inside here there will be another gold bar, pick it up. Now time
to get another stick of dynamite. Acquire it the same way as we got the last 
one. Climb up to the ledge and plant the dynamite. Stand back and once it falls
run through. Be careful of arrows, at the end is a small medipak. Above you on
the ledge is some rapid bullets and a stick of dynamite. 

Drop down to the below walkway and use the save point, finally run out through
the door on top of the wall. When your back in this area run to the left and
drop down to the final doorway. Enter through it and you begin on the right
of this map. Do a running jump from here onto the ladder and go down. Just 
before the bottom you will see a mercenary. Get out your standard pistols and
kill him. When he's dead drop down. You'll find a large medipak on the ground.

Crouch down and roll through the gap on the left. Dodge the arrow firers and
when you come out at the end climb the ledge with the snake on. Shoot it and 
collect the small medipak behind where it was. From here do a running jump onto
the ladder on the left. Climb up it and backflip at the top to find the final
gold bar. Head back to the way we came in and exit through out the door. 

Back in the familiar area climb the ladder on the left, once at the top monkey
-swing over to the other side and use the save point. Climb up the few ledges
here and begin advancing the ladder, of course dodge the arrows. Backflip at
the top and run onwards to the right. Eventually you come to another ladder,
go up it. Watch out for the arrow firers on the side though. Go to the right
and leap over the gap, make sure you climb the ladder on the left of this
shaft. 

When at the top slowly go down the ladder on the other side of the wall, there
is a mercenary here so don't get off the ladder yet. Instead shoot him from the
safety of the ladder. When he bites the dust drop down and head forwards. You
come to another wall which needs dynamiting. Set up the bomb and jump back, as
soon as it's safe run through the doorway.

In this new area run straight on. You should see a statue, it's the first one
you come too. Either side of it is two yellow circles, in the middle of these
circles are two sneakily hidden switches. Press them both to unlock the blue
door on the right but watch out for the arrows coming down from above. Run to
the right and through the open door, use the save crystal here.

Just at the end of this walkway is a object with 3 gold bars. Press "A" and
Lara will add her collection to the object. Once you've placed them leap over
to the red platform on the right. Now for this bit, use the look function to
make your way down using the other red platforms. Lower yourself down to 
prevent missing your target. When you see the tip of a save point you know your
at the end. Go to the left of the final ledge and lower Lara down to the save
crystal. By doing this it ensures you don't slip down the slope.

Save and slide down the slope on the left. Just before the end jump and you
shall not be cut to pieces by the spikes. From here run over the trap doors
and pick up the small medipak. Climb up to the ledge above and collect some
heavy bullets. Get up to the walkway above you and there are some rapid bullets
here. As soon as you pick them up you come under fire from a mercenary with a
machine gun. Dispose of him the best you can. To the left and above from where
you are is a ledge with a small medipak. Get up there and claim it.

From here climb up onto the wall, and drop down on the left. There is yet 
another mercenary here so shoot him from your ledge to avoid taking damage. 
When he falls drop down to where he was and run along this walkway. Begin the
descent down the ladder here but be cautious of the arrow firers on the left.
At the bottom is a save crystal for you to use. Head to the right and slide
down the slope here. Just before you fall to your death into the spikes at the
end jump to grab hold of the ladder. 

Climb down to the bottom and backflip onto the walkway on the left. Quickly 
drop down to the area below to prevent getting to badly hurt by the arrows. Go
forwards and waste the snake guarding the tunnel. Roll through and time it so
you miss the arrows. As soon as you emerge you come under fire from a 
mercenary. Using your heavy bullets kill him. Continue going on and you come
to a snake guarding a key. Kill him and pick the door key up, use it on the
locked door to complete the level!

Mission 10: Caverns A
===============================================================================

Quite a rapid change from the past levels isn't it? Very much like the jungle.
When the level begins run forward and use the save point. Notice that if you
fall in these pits with the black liquid you die instantly. So avoid them at
all costs. Slide down the slope here and just before the bottom jump and you'll
land on a walkway with a locked blue door on the right. Just above you is a
small platform. Jump up to it and a bat will appear on the right, shoot it.

To your left is a platform with a small ladder. Jump onto it, now just using
these few nearby platforms make your way to the monkeybars above. Once there
swing over to the left. Let go and you'll find a secret section with heavy 
bullets, a stick of dynamite and a small medipak. Pick them all up and swing 
back using the monkeybars to the right. When you get to the end, drop down onto
the platform here. Jump across to the small walkway and press the switch. A bat
will attack from below. 

Slide down the nearby slope and when you land another bat may turn up. Shoot it
and then run to the open door. Keep running and do a running jump over the gap
and onto the ladder. Climb up. Go up the next ledge here and quickly climb this
ladder. When at the top shoot the bat. That noise you hear is some steam vents,
down below. They burn you if you get hit by their blast. Drop down the next 
ledge and leap over the floor tiles here as they crumble. Use the save point. 

Turn around and fall down the gap, as you slide jump just before the end and
you'll find yourself on a small section with the steam vent and some goodies.
Pick up the small medipak first, on the other side of the vent is some rapid
bullets. As soon as it closes quickly roll past. You may get hurt slightly. 
Anyway, slide down the next slope. You'll fall a fair distance but be unhurt,
crouch down to avoid the arrow firer and pick up the small medipak. Go to the
left of this ledge and lower Lara down below. On the right you'll find a small
medipak. Climb back up to the above ledge.

Take a run up and jump onto the monkeybars and swing over to the left. When you
see a key at the top of a slope, let go and pick it up. This bits dodgy so be
careful. Slide down the slope and pretty much so as you do jump and hold "B",
Lara will then grab onto the monkeybars above, otherwise you'll end up in the
black sludge. Swing over to the left and eventually you'll see a small platform
at the end. Drop down onto it and jump onto the one on the left. From here off
this tiny platform run and jump. If you did it right you'll make it onto the
ledge near to a blue door. 

Climb up to the blue door and use your key. Lower yourself down to the walkway
below and here you will find two clips of rapid bullets and a large medipak. 
Get up to the ledge above and climb up to the next ledge. Here you should see
a mercenary up above. When he's got his back to you quickly climb up and waste
him with your heavy bullets. Go to the left and enter the cave through the
entrance. 

When this area begins run straight on and use the save point. Climb up the 
ladder and once as far as you can go backflip to the ladder on the left. Make
your way up it and two bats will begin attacking you, kill them. From here 
lower Lara down into the pit below. In between two steam vents is a large 
medipak so quickly roll past when the first one closes to pick up the medipak.
Get back to the top of the ladder. Do a running jump onto the ledge on the
right. Jump across to the first platform and then lower yourself down to the
one below. 

Get to the far left of it and perform a running jump over to the right. You'll
land in a area with a bat and a switch. Shoot the bat and drop down to the 
switch. Once activated pick up the rapid bullets next to you. Go to the edge of
this area and you'll be next to a ladder. Above you is a platform, jump up and
pull Lara up it. From here get up to the next walkway with the open door. Get
a run up and run straight through the door and leap over the spike pit. Use the
save crystal where you land. 

Drop down to the next area, jump across to the locked blue door and climb down
the ladder. Work you way down to the area below and when you get to a pool of
water jump in. Just as you dive to the right is a small medipak, swim over it
and head on down. Carry on going down and dodging the eels, pick up the rapid
bullets at the bottom right hand corner and swim to the left now. Press the
switch here and surface. Climb out on the right and pick up the small medipak,
climb up the ladders back to the top.

Once at the wall which can be dynamited, jump over to the ladder on the left.
Head up and you'll find the door has now opened. Enter the section to pick up
some heavy bullets. Go down the ladder and backflip to the left to get to the
wall which can be dynamited. Plant some dynamite and quickly drop away from the
wall to avoid getting hurt. Get back up to where the wall was and head through
and down the ladder. Pick up the dynamite at the bottom and set it up on the 
next wall. 

When it falls slide down the slope and you will fall into a pool. Take a deep
breath and swim downwards and slightly to the left. You should see a small
medipak if your heading the right way, pick it up. Swim onwards and up 
slightly. Eventually you'll see a save point and a waterfall. Climb out and
use the save point. From here jump into the pool on the left and use the switch
on the wall. Swim back to the save point. This time jump to the right, and
swim to the ledge. 

Climb out and jump in the pool on the right. Dive down and you should be on the
far side of the rocks, simply carry on past the rocks (Lara will go behind the
scenery) and you'll find a small area with a eel. Pick up the small medipak
here and press the switch on the right. Swim back up for air. Jump back into
the main pool (The one in the middle of the switches) and swim down and then
directly to the left. Here is a secret tunnel, again Lara will swim behind the
wall and at the bottom here you will find a jellyfish and a piranha. Pick up 
the medipak, and the heavy and rapid bullets. Swim back to the save point at
the top for some air.

You might want to save. Now take another deep breath and dive again. This time
head directly down and when you can go no further head to the right. Here is
a tunnel with three jellyfish, navigate your way through and pick up the small
medipak at the end, head through the open door. 

As this section begins, swim forwards and pick up the small medipak. Now head
up for some oxygen. Climb out of the water and press the switch. You can also
use the save point here. Above you is a ledge with some heavy and rapid
bullets. Climb up and collect them. Now drop back down and go into the water.
Swim down and go to the right. Now head up, after a while you'll come to a y
-junction. Take the left tunnel first and swim through the open door. Press the
switch on the wall. 

Now turn around and swim back to the junction. Go to the right this time though
and swim on. Head through the open door and you will begin descending. When you
see a large medipak swim over it and go up quickly for some air. You'll also 
find a save point here too. Jump back into the water and swim to the left. Keep
going and you'll come to what looks like a dead end, when in fact it's not. 
Keep going to the left and there will be a wall which Lara will swim behind. 
Just here is a area with some arrow firers and two switches either side.

Press each switch either side and dodge the arrows. Now head back up and out of
this cave. When you get back out, you'll see the now open door. Head through
but be careful, there are very strong currents here that try to pull your to
the left and into spikes. Stick near the top of the cave and eventually there
will be a tiny air pocket. Go up and get some well needed air. Just to the 
right is a shaft with arrow firers either side, swim up and time it so you miss
getting shot. 

From here go to the right and climb out, use the save point. From here jump 
into the small pool on the right. Head down and Lara will go behind the rocks,
keep going and at the bottom you'll find two small medipaks, and some heavy and
rapid bullets. Pick them all up and swim back to the save point above. Get back
into the main pool now and swim to the left. Follow the tunnel around and you
will hear some eels. Carry on going forward and there will be a gap in the 
rocks with two arrow firers either side. When it's safe quickly swim through.

Just above on the right is a switch, activate it. You should be getting low on
oxygen now so swim back out and go up, here is an air pocket. Take a deep 
breath and move on. Dive down and when you hear the eels swim upwards, the 
tunnel should slope off to the right slightly. Here is a open door, swim 
through it. From here follow the S shape tunnel around a pass through another
open door at the bottom. When you come up there's a ledge and a wall which has
to be dynamited. 

Pull out and set the bomb up. To get some dynamite, get up to the ledge above.
Once it's set jump back to avoid the blast. When the wall collapse run through
and pick up the small medipak, continue going forwards to complete the level.

Mission 11: Caverns B
===============================================================================

This is the final level in the caverns. When it starts a piece of rock will
instantly fall in front of you, don't worry, you won't get hurt. Use the save
crystal before moving on. Go forwards, but walk. There are more spikes that
will fall from above. You can usually tell where they are but still, walk. When
you get to a set of spikes on the floor jump over them as there is a hole 
underneath that will lead you into a pool.

Climb up the ledge here and go up the ladder. Just at the top here is another
save point. Stand at the edge of the spike pit here and jump over to the other
side. Slide down the slope here and just before the bottom jump onto the ladder
on the right. Go up the ladder and get to the ladder on the other side, near
the top you will see a walkway, backflip over to it and get out your heavy
bullets as there's a mercenary here. Once he's dead, do a running jump over to
the right and grab hold of the bars on the ceiling . Swing over to the right
and when you see the tip of a save point below drop down onto it. 

From here jump to the right and Lara will slide down a slope and fall onto a
ledge below. There is a small medipak for the taking here too. Once you have it
jump into the tiny pool and swim to the left, climb out and drop off the ledge.
Go to the left and grab hold of the ledge, you should be able to see the 
mercenary below. Let go and quickly get out your heavy bullets to dispose of 
him. Run along this tunnel down below to the right

When this area starts climb up the wall with the save point and use it. Lower
Lara down to the walkway below and there is a steam vent, when the steam 
vanishes quickly roll past. Just past the first one is another vent, use the
same technique to get past this one. There is one more vent at the end to get
past before climbing up the ladder. From the top of the ledge take a running
jump to the left and grab hold of the ladder. 

At the top run to the left but equip your heavy bullets, take out the mercenary
here. Climb up the ledge he was guarding and shoot the snake in the small gap,
then roll through. Pick up the dynamite at the end. Now turn around and roll
back through out the gap and from this walkway you should be able to see some
bars on the ceiling . Do a running jump over to them and swing over to the right
of the screen.

At the end, drop down onto the ledge and plant the dynamite on the wall here.
When it falls run inside to find two large medipaks. Swing back to the left
and drop down, roll through the gap and pick up some more dynamite. Time to
climb up the ladder above the gap. Once at the top run to the right and two 
bats will turn up. Shoot them both and climb up the ledge. Another bat will 
attack from the right, so shoot it down. This is a tricky jump so be careful,
take a run up and jump over the spike pit. When Lara grabs the ledge, pull her
up and quickly shoot the nearby bat. There is a save point just below you.

Drop down to the walkway below and there is some steam vents, use the normal
tactic to get past them. You need to get a run up from this ledge though so
just before the 3rd vent begin sprinting, past the vent and at the last moment
jump and you should leap over to a platform on the right. Jump down to the 
platform on the right to find a small medipak. Finally, from here, go the far
right of the platform, turn around and lower Lara down onto the slope below. If
done correctly, you shall slide down the slope. Just before then end, jump and
you will land on a platform above the spike pit. 

Leap over to the wall on the left and lower Lara into the spike pit. Trust me
you'll be fine. From where you land crouch down to pick up the small medipak.
Climb back up to the wall and jump over to the ladder, head up it. Below you
is a ledge with a scorpion on, quickly drop down and shoot it. Below you, on 
the left is another ledge with a scorpion on, drop down and blast it. Get down
to the walkway below and shoot the snake guarding the switch. Press the switch
and then finally climb back up to the top. 

When at the top, climb down the ladder on the right of the wall and head into
the open blue door. Kill the two snakes you come across. At the end you'll find
the section has been sealed off, plant some dynamite on the wall and step back.
Run through and climb up the tall ledge, from here climb up to the one above
you. Its possible to totally miss the first two steam vents completely. 
Continue climbing up in the same fashion and you will come across two small 
medipaks. Once at the top you will have to pass a steam vent, when the steam
vanishes quickly run past and climb up the ledge. There is one final steam vent
to run past.

Climb up the top ledge and use the save point in the middle. Be cautious of the
two scorpions on this walkway. Roll through the gap and run straight on to find
a switch, use it. Run back towards the way we came and climb up the ledge above
the small gap. Get up the next ledge and run through the open door. You can 
quite easily run past the first vent. The second one requires timing as you 
need to get up to the ledge above. Once there pick up the small medipak and 
head up to the next ledge. 

You should be able to see a large medipak on top of a slope. Pick it up and 
then slide down the slope, you must just before the end of the slope jump over
to the area on the left otherwise you will be back near the blue door. When you
land, run past a steam vent and climb over a wall, there is another steam vent
to dodge here as well. At the end of the walkway will be a large medipak, pick 
it up and then take a run up and leap over the gap. Equip your heavy bullets 
and move forwards to encounter a mercenary. 

When he's dead, move on and go up and over a wall, when you land kill the two
scorpions in this area. Climb up the ladder and the next ladder after that. On
your way up, two bats arrive, dispose of them and continue going up. At the top
on the ceiling  will be some monkeybars, swing over to the right. Drop down and
go through the cave opening. Go to the left and lower Lara down below, kill the
snake guarding the large medipak.

Drop down the ledge and climb the first ladder you see. From here, run to the
left to find a save point. Take a run up and run to the left, jump off the 
slope and grab hold of the monkeybars on the ceiling . Make your way over to the
right and drop down. Go to the left and head down the ladder. On this small 
ledge you need to take a run up and jump over the spike pit and land on the
ledge opposite. When you land, climb up the ladder and press the switch at the
top. Get back to the monkeybars.

Swing over to the save point on the right, use it and then go forwards down the
ladder to the right of the save point. Below here is the door you opened, run
through to pick up a large medipak and a door key. Get back up to the save 
point, use it and then slide down the slope. When you land, do a running jump
over to the ladder opposite and head down. At the end of the ladder drop down
and use the door key on the lock. 

Run through, take note of the statue here. Continue going to the right and go
down the ledge, there are two cave openings here. Go through the first one you
see. 

When this section starts, run forwards and save. Equip your heavy bullets and
slide down the slope, at the end shoot the mercenary. Run forwards and pick up
the small medipak. Continue moving on and you'll see a ledge with a mercenary
on. Quickly climb up and shoot him, when he's dead pick up the small medipak. 
Climb up the next ledge and run and jump onto the ladder. Climb up it. 

At the top of the wall, jump up and grab hold of the bars on the ceiling, swing
over to the left. This appears to be a dead end but it's not. You can walk 
straight through the tunnel here, be ready for a few bats. At the end you will
see a ledge over the pit of spikes, perform a running jump over to it and pick
up the heavy and rapid bullets, the stick of dynamite and a large medipak. Run
and jump back over to the right hand side, monkeyswing back over to the wall.

Go down the ladder on the right hand side of the wall now, near the bottom
backflip over to the right and press the switch. Jump back over to the ladder
and head up to the top of the wall. Now climb down the ladder on the left off
the wall, dodge the arrow firers on the other side. When at the bottom, run 
through the open door. Slide down the slope and pretty much as soon as you 
start sliding jump up and grab the monkeybars, swing over to the left. Drop 
down when you see a save point. 

Turn around and jump over the spike pit, at this slope slide down and you will
land in a pool. Follow this pool all the way down. There is a small medipak
for you to swim over too. When you get past the jellyfish climb out on the left
hand side as the door is locked on the right for now. Grab the small medipak
and climb up to the ledge above, here is a large one. Climb the ladder and
once at the top drop down to the right and pick up the heavy bullets. Watch out
for the arrow firers. 

Climb back out to the left and do a running jump over the gap and Lara will
grab hold of the monkeybars above you, so swing over. Drop down and climb the
next ladder, from the safety of the ladder you will see a mercenary, get out
your pistols and shoot him. When he's dead backflip over to the walkway he
was on and run forwards, use the save point and you will find a switch at the
end here. 

Now make your way back down towards the pool. When back here, dart past the
steam vent and explore the left side of this area. You will find a steam vent
at the end of each ledge, quickly make your way past when it's clear and plant
a stick of dynamite on the wall that is blocking your way. As soon as it's 
blown, dive into the pool and pick up the rapid bullets at the bottom. Now 
get back to the pool that we used to swim here, so that means dodging your
way past the vents again. 

At this point, jump into the water and swim to the right, the door blocking our
way is now open. So climb up and drop down into the new pool. Swim down and 
head to the left slightly, keep going and you will see what looks like a dead
end but there is in fact a tunnel you can swim through, it looks a tiny bit
different when compared to the rest of the rock. Keep going swimming forwards
and dodge the piranha, when you see an air pocket, surface for a well earned
break. Dive down and go to the left.

Keep going and the tunnel will curve upwards, follow it up and on the left wall
there will be a switch, use it and try to miss the arrows being shot at you 
from above. The door just on the right here will now be open. Swim through
and pick up the small medipak and rapid bullets. Surface for air and you will
see where are back at the save point, what we have just done is a complete
circle. Get out and save. 

Leap over the spike pit (Again!) and slide down the slope into the pool, follow
it around. When you surface climb out on the right and drop into the next pool,
this time swim down and to the left again. Remember the air pocket we used on
the left side of the map through the secret tunnel? Well, head over towards it,
from there look for some rock that Lara can swim behind. (It's a different 
shade and has a blue boarder to it), the area I'm on about is actually just
above the air pocket. Once there swim over and pick up the large medipak, on
the left is the final switch. Press it and swim back to the right side of this
pooled area. 

You should now be back at the place that we dropped in from the previous pool.
Now simply swim directly down, past the arrow firers and through the open door. 
Swim over the "Red Diamond" to pick it up. Now, head up and to the left, go
through the tunnel and head up back to the save point on the walkway. Save and
jump back into the pool, swim over to the left and make your way up this way,
kill the mercenary and once at the top go out through the cave opening to
complete this section of the level.

Your back at the two cave openings now, so head through the cave on the left
now. Run straight on and use the save point. Quickly run and jump past the
three steam vents here and use then kill the bats that follow you. Now, this
bit is incredibly sneaky, do a running jump from this walkway over the gap on
the left and you will find that Lara grabs hold of a secret tunnel, pull up
and head through. Drop down the ledge to find some rapid bullets. Quickly get
past the steam vent here and pick up the heavy bullets. Kill the bat that
comes.

Climb up the ledge here and kill yet another bat, pick up the small medipak.
Make your way up the ledge here on the left and past the steam vent. From here
run to the right and do a running jump over the gap, as soon as you land on 
the walkway with the mercenary on, quickly climb up and shoot him. Pick up the
door key when he's dead. Now, run and jump back over to the steam vent. Jump 
over to the ladder and go down. 

Once at the bottom, you need to do a running jump over the spike pit, pull up
and use the door key on the lock. Go through and press the switch here. Once
you have, make your way back to the entrance of this secret area. Do a running
jump over the gap and your back on the walkway from the start. Go down the
very long ladder here and time it so you climb past the arrow firers when they
are not firing. Once at the bottom, backflip over the spikes to the left. Run
straight on. On the wall opposite is a sole arrow firer so roll to avoid the
oncoming arrow and then climb up the wall. 

Go down the ladder on the other side of the wall, at the bottom you will see
two blue doors, the one below is open, so run through. Lower Lara down at the
end and use the save point. When you drop down on the next ledge, be ready for
a mercenary with a machine gun. Run along here and the next ledge you come to
will have another mercenary on. Keep climbing up the next set of ledges and 
you will find yet another mercenary. Kill him, the climb up to the ledge above.

From here you will be near a ladder, head up it. When at the top, backflip over
to the small medipak. Pick it up and then monkeyswing over the slope, when you
see a switch on the far right, drop down and press it. Whatever you musn't do
is slide down either of those slopes here, as you will just fall into a spike
pit. Now, monkeyswing back over to the right. It's just a case of making your
way back to the start of this area. (The place with two blue doors).

Once there, climb up to the now open second door and run through. Kill the two
snakes you come across and go down the ladder. At the bottom, there is a save
point, use it before jumping into the water. Dive down, do your best to avoid
all of the underwater enemies here. Swim all the way down and you will find 
some rapid bullets and a small medipak, from here swim up to the left and you
will be at an air pocket. 

Dive down again, and swim to the right this time. Keep going past all the
jellyfish and you will come to what appears to be a dead end. There is a blue
door (Locked) above you, however if you look carefully you will see that there
is a tunnel you can swim through and go up for air. When you're ready, go
down and carefully make your way past the spikes here, once you get to the 
floor, swim to the left and use the switch here. 

The blue door that we just passed is now open, make your way back there and go
through. Once through, go up and climb out on the right. Use the save point and
then move on. Shoot the two snakes you come across. Keep going and you will
drop down a ledge, here is a load of arrow firers and some steam vents. My 
advice here is just to leg it across as quick as you can and jump over onto the
ladder. Climb to the top and backflip over to the walkway here. Pick up the 
"Blue Diamond" and dodge the nearby arrows. 

Now make your way back to the start of this section, I won't go into too much
detail but just follow your way back in the same fashion we used to progress. 
On your way back, pick up the useful items on the floor of the tunnel with the
many jellyfish. Once back at the first save point at the first pool, climb up
the ladder. Run straight on, out the door and leap over to the next ladder,
climb up this, and drop down over the wall. Run along and leap over the spikes,
advance up the ladder here and remember to dodge the arrows. 

Run past the three steam vents and use the save point before going out of the
cave opening. Your now back, next to the altar. Climb up to the altar on the
right and use the two diamonds in the holes either side of it. The door in 
the middle will now open, run through to complete this level!

Mission 12: Volcanic Temple A
===============================================================================

Run and jump over the Lava and use the save point. Take note, that if you jump
and some lava spits up and hits you, Lara will take damage. Get a run up and
jump over to the next walkway. Climb over the wall and drop down, climb up to
the walkway above the locked door here. Make your way past the two steam vents
and grab hold of the monkeybars. On your way over, dodge the flames that get
spat up at you.

Falling in any of the lava pits here will result in an instant death.

At the end, go down the ladder. You will notice fire firers on the side of the
wall, so be careful. Keep going down, and past the ledge you see (The door is
closed for now). When you come near the bottom, backflip over to the tiny
island over the lava. Jump up and grab hold of the monkeybars, swing over to 
the left and go down the ladder. Once you go as far as you can let go and you
will land on the walkway below. Run past the spitting lava, and make your way 
back over to the island above the lava. 

Once back, do a running jump over to the ladder, climb up and backflip when you
see that ledge that used to have the locked door. When there, lower Lara down
into the spikes below, as long as you walk here you won't take any damage. Run
and jump back onto the ladder and make your way back the way we came. When you
go past the two steam vents and drop down you will see the door is now open,
run through. Pick up the large medipak here. When you slide down the slope duck 
to avoid the fire firer, then drop down to the next slope and Lara will slide
down and fall dangerously close to a lava pit. 

Just to your right (Past the fire spitters) is some ammo, pick it up. Now, take
a run up and run towards the lava pool, just at the last minute jump and you
will land on a new walkway. Use the save point on the platform above you before
moving on. Drop back down and do a running jump to the left again, you will 
come to a end next to a fire spitter, quickly climb up above to avoid getting
hurt. There is another above, get up to the ledge next to the locked door. 

Above the door is a ladder, go up it. Up here is a steam vent and a few fire
spitters, avoid them and go to the left. Drop down to find the switch for the
door, use it and head back. When at the door, go through and down the ladder.
Watch out for fire spitters. The ladder you're on is short, so at the end back
-flip over to the one on the left and continue down. At the bottom, let go, to
fall down to the island above the lava.

Go to the left and climb up the ladder on the opposite side of the wall which
we just went down. Near the top you can see a ceiling  switch, shoot it. When 
back on the island underneath the ladder do a running jump to the left. Run 
through here and do a running jump over the lava pool, pull Lara up and kill
the bat that turns up. Take a run up and leap over the spike pit here and land
next to a save point. 

Make your way past the steam vent, turn around and lower Lara down below, you
will take a slight bit of damage but not much. Kill the bat on the left before
heading down the ladder. At the bottom, pick up a small medipak and kill
another bat. Do a running jump onto the monkeybars above the spikes here and
quickly swing over to the left, keep moving to try and avoid the fire spitters.
Once at the end, drop down and go through the door. 

When you enter the next area Lara will drop down next to a save point. Drop off
the end of the ledge here and you will slide down a slope, just before the end,
do a jump and you will make it across to a wall which can be dynamited. Plant
a stick of dynamite and lower Lara down the ledge (Of course, don't let go), 
this will mean you won't get hurt as much. Once it falls, climb up and go in.
Run past the two fire spitters and make your way up the ladder, there are more
spitters on the side of the ladder. 

Once at the top, backflip to get past the bats. When you land, shoot the three
bats up here and pick up the large medipak, dynamite and the rapid bullets. As
soon as your ready, make your way back down towards where the wall was. Fall 
off the end here and you will slide down another slope, just before the end
jump to avoid falling to your death in the spike pit. 

On this walkway with a locked door, climb up to the area above. Up here, make
your way past the two steam vents. Drop down the ledge and there is a spike
pit. Get a run up and leap over the pit. When you land, climb up the and flip
over to the left when near the top. Move quickly to avoid getting hit by the
fire spitters. Climb over the wall with the three fire spitters on and pick up
the small medipak here. 

Back on the wall, do a running jump to the right and you will come to end up on
a platform. To the right is a ladder, jump over to it. Go up, and at the top
there is a save point. Slide down the slope here, and just before it ends, jump
and you'll end up on a ledge, go up the ladder and on your way, dodge the two
fire spitters. Once at the top, press the switch here. Climb up to next to the
steam vents above and when there, lower Lara down below. (You drop down next to
the save point.)

From here, do a running jump back over to the left and go through the door 
here. The switch you just used opened a door, but in the other area and for the
time being, it's still off limits. When you start back in this area, go to the
left and do a running jump over the gap. Pick up the large medipak here. The
blue door is locked for now, so run to the right and go down the ladder, but 
avoid the fire spitters. 

When you see a save point, backflip over to it and plant some dynamite on the
wall here. Save and when it's blown, run through. Kill the two snakes here and
flick the switch at the end. Run and jump back to the ladder and head down. At
the bottom there is some dynamite, so pick it up before leaping over the lava
pit here. When you land, jump onto the ladder here and go down. 

At the bottom, plant some dynamite on tiles here, and when they explode drop 
down to pick up a large medipak, a small one and some rapid bullets. Climb out,
and do a running jump over the lava pit here on the left, when you land move
quickly to miss the fire spitter above. Climb up the wall here and collect the
small medipak. 

There is a lot of fire spitters here so be careful, jump over to the first
platform, and then jump to the next one. From here, you should be on a walkway,
go up the ladder. Near the top, press "B" to monkeyswing, and head over to the
right. Make your way past the many fire traps and when you see the switch, drop
down and use it. When you have, monkeyswing back to the ladder, and head down. 
You have just opened the blue door down below here. 

To get there, jump over past the two platforms, and you end up back on the
ladder. From here, go down and backflip when your about halfway down, you 
should land on a lower platform, do a running jump to the next one and your on
the island with the door you just opened. Get a run up and jump over to the
left to pick up a door key. Now, run and jump back, and head back up the main
ladder in this area, on the way save. (Basically, head back to the locked door
near the start of this level, also on the way back, pick up the dynamite you 
see).

Once at the locked door, use the key and slide down the slope. Just before the
end jump to miss the lava pit and climb up the ladder. Slide down another slope
and jump at the end again, head up the ladder. Drop down the other side, and
you will slide again, just before you fall into the lava pit, jump over to the
final ladder and go up. Use the save point at the top. 

Go straight on, and drop down next to the blue door, just above is a switch, so
press it and the door below will now open. Advance through. Slide down the 
slope here, and pretty much as you do, jump and you will land on a platform, to
the left is a ledge with a switch on, press it and make your way down below
via the ladder or platforms. Run through the door at the bottom. 

When you drop off the ledge you are on a tiny slope, so quickly jump and if 
done correctly you will land safely on the other side of the lava pit. Run
straight on, over the tiles and through the open blue door (It will close when
you pass). Climb up the ledge, and plant some dynamite on the wall here. When 
it falls, run and jump over to the ladder and go down. Use the save point here.
Keep going down, and after some ledges you should see a snake, kill it and run
onwards. Kill another one. In the end of this area is some ammo, so collect it
before heading back.

Run to the left, and climb up the ladder on the side of the lava pit. There are
some monkeybars above you, make your way over to the left. Make sure you watch
out for the lava being spat at you from below. At the end here will be the 
"Orb". Pick it up, and the small medipak next to it. Make your way back over 
the lava pit. Go down the ladder, and head to the right. When you see the 
start of the tunnel, climb up and make your way back to the save point up
here.

Note: On the final ledge (Just before the ladder starts) is a secret tunnel, so
roll through. Inside, will be some health packs and ammo.

Once your at the save point, use it and then head up the second ladder. At the
top, backflip over to the walkway. From here you should see a large medipak,
and a stick of dynamite on a ledge above, pull up to collect it. Now head to
the left, when you get to where the tiles used to be, drop down to the area
below. Monkeyswing over the lava pit and climb out when you get to the end. 

When you come up, there will be a locked blue door above you. Just to the right
of the door on a ledge is the switch, press it and the door will open. Jump 
over and head through the door, now go up the ladder. Once at the top, backflip
over to the right and go through the snake door. 

As soon as this area starts, roll through the small tunnel on the right and 
there will be a large medipak, and some heavy/rapid bullets. Pick them up and
roll back out. Once at the far left, lower Lara down to the area below and use
the save point here. You should know where we are now. Go to the left and jump
over the gap, on this ledge with the switch, climb up past it and head onwards.
Run through the open door, and use the save crystal. 

To the left will be a mercenary, from where you are, shoot him before dropping
down. Just above on the left is a walkway, climb up to it and pick up the ammo
and health that is being guarded by the fire spitters. From here, lower Lara
down to the walkway below and quickly kill the mercenary here. Go over the wall
here, and run and jump over to the ladder. Head down it. Leap over the gap here
and go to the right. When you get to a spike pit, do a running jump over it
and use the switch here. The locked door, back slightly (The one we leaped 
over) will now be open. 

Go through, and jump over to the ladder. Once at the bottom, go to the right
and head through the door. When you begin in this area, go to the left and drop
down. To the right is a large medipak so pick it up. Just here is a secret
tunnel, roll through but watch out for a mercenary (I wonder what he was doing
in here) and kill him. Now you can pick up the two small medipaks. Now roll 
out, and run to the left. When you see some tiles, plant some dynamite on it 
and jump back.

When it explodes, jump down and you will begin sliding. At the bottom, run 
through the door. When you come out the door, run to the right and leap over
the gap. Use the save point here. Head down the ladder on the left, when at the
end of it, let go and Lara will fall. Drop down to the right, and do a running
jump over the spike pit here. Make your way past the two steam vents, and when
you see an open door below you, go through it. 

Keep heading on, and you should see a locked blue door, go past it and there 
is a spike pit, run and jump past it and press "A" at the snake statue to use
the "Orb". Now, the locked door, just to the left is open, so go through. Run
straight on, and jump over the gap. Here is a save point and two snakes, kill
them and save. Just past the last snake is some dynamite, so pick it up. From
this ledge, run and jump to the left.

You land next to a locked door, lower Lara down below and use the dynamite. 
Quickly, run and jump over the spike pit on the right to avoid the blast. Head
to the right and down the ledge, there is two mercenaries here, so be ready. 
Climb up the ledge, and run past the two steam vents. Run and jump over the
spikes and you should land on a platform above the spikes. Do one more final
run and jump to the right, this time you land next to a locked blue door. 

Now, climb up past the first locked door, and then past the second one. Here is
a ladder, being watched by several fire spitters, so climb at a steady pace to
avoid them. Near the top, shoot the ceiling  switch. Quickly climb drop down, 
and the top blue door is now open, go through and use the switch. The second
blue door below will now open, so head through and use it. 

From the bottom ledge, run and jump to the left and make your way back over the
spike pit. When you finally land, don't move, instead, climb up to the walkway
above, up here is the final panel piece, pick it up to complete the level.

Mission 13: Volcanic Temple B
===============================================================================

This level starts very quickly, you will slide down a slope and land on some
tiles that collapse, when you land you're in a pit with two snakes either side,
so quickly kill them and pick up the small medipak in the middle. Climb out the
right and do a running jump over the gap here. Run across the tiles here (They
won't break) and use the save point on top of the ledge. 

To the right is a slope, so slide down and just before the end jump and Lara
will grab hold of a platform, pull her up and run and jump over to the ladder
on the right. Make your way down, and when you see a walkway, do a backflip 
over to it. Now, do a running jump to the left and you should grab hold of a
platform, one final run and jump to the left and you land on a walkway with
some dynamite and a switch. Pick it up and use the switch. The door to the 
left, below has just opened. 

Go to the end of this walkway and jump back to the platform, then jump over 
to the walkway on the right. From here, run and jump back onto the ladder and
head up it. Go all the way to to the top, and there will be some monkeybars, 
using these, make your way over the spitting lava pit and let go at the end.
You end up next to the save point, so use it. Now run to the tiles to the left,
and plant the dynamite on them. When they explode, head down the ladder. 

On the way down, you should see a small ledge, so backflip over to it and use
the switch that is here. Now drop down and run through the two open doors and
pick up the door key at the end. Once you have it, run back to the ladder and 
go up. Before we move on, I advise you use the save point on the right. 

Time to move on. Make your way to the left now, jumping over the gaps and when
you see a lava pit you know your on track. You will need to do a running jump
to clear it. Once over it, head down the ladder and pick up the heavy and rapid
bullets at the bottom. Be careful as the tiles here will crumble when you stand
on them, meaning you fall into the spikes. Jump over to them onto the ladder 
and go up. 

When back at the top of the lava pit, do a running jump over the gap on the 
left and kill the two bats that are here. When you see a slope, slide down it,
several slopes later you will land next to a save point. (Watch out the tiles
here will break if you stand on them). Use the save crystal. Run and jump over
the tiles and go down the ladder, take note of the fire spitters on the right. 

Once at the bottom, backflip off the ladder, otherwise when you land you'll 
fall through the tiles at the bottom. Jump over them and kill the mercenary
on the left. Now you can slide down the slope, at the bottom kill the snake. Go
to the end and lower Lara down off the walkway. Move to the right and climb up
the side of the lava pit, you need to do a running jump to clear this. When on
the right side of it, drop down a dodge the fire spitters. Make your way over
the wall. 

You should be able to run and jump from the wall here to avoid the fire 
spitters, when you grab the ladder, go up it. Press the switch at the top. The
platforms on the left are now usable. Run and jump over to the first one. From
the left of the platform do a jump to the next one, now climb up above and use
the switch. Lower Lara back down to the platform underneath, in order to get
to the next platform you need to do a run and jump. 

From where you land, press up to grab hold of the platform above. It's only 
small but get a run up and leap over to the left. Use the door key on the lock
and the door will open. Use the save point above. When ready, climb up the 
ladder on the right, and when near the top backflip over to the platform you
see and quickly pull up to the walkway above. You need to be quick in order
not to get hit by the fire spitters. 

When at the top, go through the door here. Once through the door, go to the
right and jump over to the ladder, go down it slightly and when you see some
ammo, backflip over to it. There will be two sets of rapid bullets here. Go to
the end of the walkway and push off, Lara should land on a small platform with
two floor, fire spitters. Now lower Lara off this platform. 

Pick up the heavy bullets and small medipak here. Run to the right of the 
snake statue here and you'll find some dynamite. Pick it up and climb up to 
the ledge above you. Grab the large medipak and go up the ladder, just before
the top, backflip over to the next ledge and pick up yet another large 
medipak. Run and jump over to the ladder we were just on and make your way to
the top. Up here will be some rapid bullets and a small medipak. 

Run and jump back over to where we just got the second large medipak. Go up 
the ladder here. Once at the top, monkeyswing over to the right and drop down
at the end, grab the rapid bullets. Run and jump back onto the monkeybars and
swing over to the ladder, make your way down. Time to leave this area now, 
go back to the snake statue and press "UP" on the D-PAD to enter the door in
the middle of the statue. 

When this new area begins, Lara will slide down a slope. The snake guardian is
just to the left of you.

The Snake Guardian: This is the boss of the game, he is really easy, and even
though you can explore the surrounding area for ammo and more health, it's
really not needed, so for this guide, will just confront him straight away. 
Feel free to explore the surrounding area if you want though...
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

To defeat the Snake Guardian, stand in front of him and using your heavy 
bullets/rapid bullets, just shoot him. Lara will lock onto his head so just 
fire away, no need to dodge the venom he spits at you, instead when ever your
health gets low, just use one of your many medipaks you have left. 

Lara: The Crystal!

[Lara picks up the crystal from the dead Snake Guardian]

Lara: The doorway. 

Lara: Now to get back to the Altar.

Lara: So this is the Nightmare Stone, Llliat was right, it must be destroyed. 

[Lara throws it into the lava]

Lara: There, it's finally over.

Lara: Oh no!

[The area begins collapsing and lava spills out]

Lara: The whole place is collapsing, I've got to get out of here. 

Lara: The exit is blocked, I better try another way.

Lara: Uh oh...

Mission 14: Volcanic Temple C
==============================================================================

When the final level begins, run forward and leap over the lava pit and save.
Now, time to get the hell out of here. Use the monkeybars to swing over the
lava pit, drop down at the end, and jump over the tiles here. Run straight on
and grab hold of the ladder here, once about halfway up, backflip over to the
walkway on the left and use the switch at the end here. 

Now, run and jump back onto the ladder, and go to the top. (Go to the left of
here for pickups if you want, but it's not really needed). From this position,
go down the other side of the ladder. Near the bottom you should see a walkway
so backflip over to it. Quickly run across the tiles here and do a running 
jump at the end, if done correctly, you should be on another walkway like the
last one.

Again, run across the tiles and do a running jump onto the ladder this time. 
Near the top there will be some fire spitters, so watch out. When the ladder
ends, backflip over to the walkway and kill the mercenary guarding it. Pick up
the large medipak and climb up the ledge on the left, here is another merc, 
so dispose of him quickly. 

Climb up the many ledges here, and when at the final one, do a running jump
out to the right, when Lara grabs hold of the platform, pull up. Climb up to
the platform above, from here, using the other platforms make your way over to
the far right one. Now do a running jump off to the wall and you will land on 
a ledge with a switch, use it to open the door on the far left. 

Run and jump to the left now, and you will slide down a slope and be back 
further down. Get back up the to first of the several platforms. Climb up to 
the top off all the platforms, but this time, run and jump to the left and go
through the door. You will need to roll through here, but time it to miss the
fire spitters. Climb up the small ladder and use the save point.

When your ready to move on, drop down to the left and use the switch next to
the blue door. Go back to the save point. Now, the door above will be open so
head through. Climb the ladder here and backflip when at the top, duck to miss
the fire spitters on the right and quickly climb the ladder here. The door on
the right needs a key, so using the monkeybars above you swing over to the
left. 

Let go at the end and dart past the fire spitters, slide down the slope here,
and after a second slope jump over to the ladder just before you fall. Make 
your way down the ladder and at the bottom there will be the door key, pick
it up and climb the ladder. When at the top of the ladder on the left, 
backflip over to the ladder on the right and go up this. 

Three bats will turn up, so just ignore them and slide down the slope, when 
you fall you land next to monkeybars we used earlier, swing over to the right
and use the door key on the lock. Go through, and stand at the end, jump over
to the tiny platform, walk to the end, jump to the next one. Repeat this until
you are at the end. When there, climb up to the walkway above as there is a 
fire spitter at the end. 

Climb up to the next walkway, and quickly make your way to the ladder on the
left. Get up the ledge at the top, and kill the mercenary here. Go to the left
and slide down the slope here, just before the end, jump and you'll end up to
a blue door that is currently closed. Slide down the next slope, and just
before falling into the lava jump and you'll find a small ledge with a switch,
so use it. 

Now the dodgy bit, turn around and face the slope, push Lara forwards so she
drops off the end and you land dangerously on those stepping stones we just
crossed. Make your way back over to the right using the same technique. When 
back at the end, get back to the blue door we just passed. Once there, run 
through and use the save crystal. 

Go up the ledge, and do a running jump over this gap. Climb up the first ledge,
and kill the mercenary here and the three bats that attack you. Get up to the
next ledge, and kill the mercenary here. One final mercenary is awaiting for 
you above. When he's dead, make your way up the small ladder, and do a running
jump over the lava pit. 

Run straight on towards the blue door and over the floor tiles, when they break
away, jump over to the left of the gap and lower Lara down, she will slide but
stop shortly on a flat piece with a small medipak. Slide down the next slope
and before you slide into the lava, jump over to the walkway, get out your 
pistols and kill the merc here. Go straight on and kill another one. 

Head up the next ledge and stand next to the steam vent, when it closes, run
past it and jump over the lava pit. You land on a platform, so run and jump 
onto the ladder on the right and go up. Shoot the bat that is here. Near the
top another one will turn up. When at the top, backflip over to the platform
on the left. Make your way past the steam vent, and climb up to the next 
platform above. 

Shoot the bat, and then do a running jump over to the next place. Lower Lara
down below now to the platform underneath. Here, jump over to the small 
platform with another steam vent, and from here, run and jump to the ladder. 
Go up to the top, and quickly run straight on and leap onto the next ladder.
Head up it to complete the game.

[Lara exits the temple through a hole and it explodes, lava is thrown out all
over the area]

Kill   : Just a single shot from the pistols will do it.

Details: A very simple enemy, yet annoying as they appear everywhere. They can 
         also travel all over the screen.

Name   : Scorpion

Kill   : A few more rounds needed from the pistols to kill scorpions.

Details: Another common enemy, however unlike bats, they do more damage and are
         fairly quick moving.

Name   : Snakes

Kill   : Only takes a few shots from the pistols to kill the snakes. 

Details: They can do a fair bit of damage when they bite you but if you stay at
         least one square away from then they can't reach you. Often found 
         guarding switches and items.

Name   : Jellyfish

Found  : In water.

Kill   : As they are underwater they can't be killed.

Details: As its not possible to kill them, simple avoid them when in the water.
         They don't move either, so missing them shouldn't be too hard.

Name   : Electric ells

Found  : In water.

Kill   : Again, as they are underwater they can't be killed.

Details: Unlike jellyfish, these ells move. Plus as they are electric they do a
         fair bit of damage too. You often hear them before you see them.

Name   : Cave Warriors

Kill   : Take several rounds from the pistols.

Details: These are quite rare, but however they do deal a pretty big attack 
         when your next to them. Take them out from a ledge or well back.

Name   : Skeleton Warriors

Kill   : Take several rounds from the pistols.

Details: The skeleton warriors are quite common mid point through the game.
         They use a sword to attack but aren't too strong defence wise.

Name   : Mummy

Kill   : Several shots from the pistols.

Details: These are pretty weak enemies, they are slow and don't hurt that much.
         Simply use the step-back and shoot method to dispose of them just like
         you would on a warrior.

Name   : Reapers

Kill   : Use rapid/heavy bullets.

Details: These are the strongest enemies you will have to face for a while. 
         Its best to use the rapid/heavy bullets on them as their magic attacks
         are very damaging and cause a big health loss.

Name   : Mercenary

Kill   : Normal pistols are fine. (Use rapid bullets if you have plenty).

Details: These are a pretty tough enemy. As they are human and carry pistols. 
         The best method to use is to blast them and crouch down to avoid some
         of their fire, then unload some cold steel into them.

Name   : Piranha

Kill   : Can't be killed, only avoided.

Found  : In water.

Details: These are found in water usually in groups. They are pretty fast so
         are not too easy to dodge. Ensure you keep an eye on your health when
         swimming.

Name   : Snake Guardian (Final Boss)

Kill   : Heavy bullets are best.

Found  : "Mission 13: Volcanic Temple B". 

Details: This is the final boss, he isn't tough at all. Just lock onto him and
         fire away using heavy bullets, use medipaks when your health becomes
         low. His only attack is to spit venom at you.

Is the game any good?

Yes. Its a good adventure game, the graphics are okay and to be honest, in its
time it was a must own GameBoy Colour game.

When is it set?
---------------
Were not told. However we can be sure its before "Tomb Raider 4: The Last 
Revelation" due to Lara's relationship with the professor.

  - Began the FAQ. Wrote up all of Temple A and B and completed the "Legal 
    info", the "Introduction" and the "Story" sections. Began Temple C.

  - Spell-checked the FAQ and corrected some minor errors. Added a big chunk

  - Done some work on the "Royal Tombs" level and edited the start script.

 - Added to Tombs C, I'm averaging a level every 3 days.

 - Completed "Tombs C" and began the "Treasure Chambers"!

 - Been real busy the past few days which means for the lack of updates. So far
   today I've done the first bit of "Treasure Chambers A".
 - Added to "Treasure Chambers A". Also added the Mercenaries details to the

 - Completed "Treasue Chambers A" and began "Chambers B".
