Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble
Review by iammaxhailme
"If this game makes you throw your GBC in rage or joy, it'll know."
If you don't know, this game is a very special game. There are a few other games that I know of like this. Boktai has a solar panel (or something like that) in it. This game has a motion sensor. It can tell when you move it. As a matter of fact, that's how you play that game!
There isn't much story, I'm skipping that section.
The gameplay is good. A few games like this that have motion sensors need to be pushed too lightly or roughly, but this one has a good power sensor. When you power up your GBC or GBA, it tells you to hold your game directly parade to the ground, so it knows when it's flat. Then, you can play!
The playing itself is fun. You can roll around, obviously, and fling the GBC around a bit to jump. The main point is to roll around a bunch of obstacles, sometimes hitting the right buttons, and always getting those little stars which eventually give you prizes if you have enough of them.
You might have a few problems if you're twitchy or don't have proper lighting. If you twitch a lot (minor ones won't do anything, but be careful) you might send Kirby the wrong way buy accident, and later in the game the paths seem to get very thin often, so you might kill yourself. But this only happens for major twitchiness anyway, so don't worry too much about it. Also, if you don't have the proper lighting, you might turn the GBC so it's not facing towards the light and you won't be able to see anything. It's probably odd to read about, but it happens, and it can screw you over.
The music is what you'd expect from a GBC game. Some xylophone playing in the background and computer beeps whenever you jump on something or get a star. Sometimes Kirby says Hi, too. I think that's random.
The graphics are also quite average. But the colors are bright, which is good, so you can tell things from other things. Kirby seems to glow a bit.
There's some replay value here. It's not enormous, like it is in Pokemon, but here you can try to get all the stars or whatever you like, because to just beat the game it's not all necessary.
