Question from aWoJEPP

How to properly use Hp-up, Iron, Calcium, Carbos and all other kinds of vitamins?

I would like to know if there is a certain cap to the amount of vitamins that you can give a pokemon overall or can you keep giving them each level? for example say the maximum amount that you can give a pokemon is 5 of each said vitamin, is that the total amount overall or the next level will i be able to give it 5 more of each?

aWoJEPP provided additional details:

I was only able to feed my mewtwo 2 vitamins per stat ( 2 hp up 2 iron 2 protein 2 carbos 2 calcium) and he is still just shy of the max stats for mewtwo, also he is level 100 now did i F.U.B.A.R????

aWoJEPP provided additional details:

It should be noted that your Mewtwo may not be what's known as a "maxgene" Mewtwo, capable of actually getting max stats. However, you may still be able to get some stat experience.

Use Mewtwo to solo it's way through the Elite 4 a few times and make a note of the stats. Deposit it in the box, and take it back out. If any of the stats have increased, then it's still able to gain Stat experience, so keep repeating until you get no more gains at all.

There is a cap to the amount of Vitamins that you can give to your pokemon. As long as the pokemon doesn't have 100 Stat EXP in that stat, you can give the pokemon a Vitamin for that stat. So the rules are:

1. The pokemon can take up to 10 Vitamins in each stat (each vitamin gives 10 Stat EXp to that stat)

2. Once the pokemon has 100 Stat EXP points in that stat, it can't take any vitamins.

Since the Max amount is 10, once it says "It won't have any effect", you can't feed the pokemon any more vitamins ever. No matter how much you level them up, they won't take anymore vitamins.
