1. Introduction
###############################################################################
Thank you for choosing to read my Daffy Duck: Fowl Play FAQ. I hope this guide
gives you some assistance in completing this game. I've written a Game
Overview, Hints and Tips, and much more. Beware of the spoilers, though. I
haven't written a Walkthrough, as it is difficult to write one for the stages
in this game, since it would be hard to understand, in my opinion. Instead,
I've written a General FAQ for Daffy Duck: Fowl Play.

2. Version History
###############################################################################
Version 1.0, 19th August 2006:
Submitted the FAQ.

3. Story
###############################################################################
Daffy Duck would love to be rich and famous. He’s already
famous - for being a blunderer. Now all he has to do is figure
out how to make some money.
One day, Daffy Duck got the idea of going treasure hunting to
make money. So he set out in search of treasure.
Daffy Duck must collect treasure chests full of treasure to
become rich. But Daffy Duck is a great blunderer. You must
help him become rich by moving him around and making him
do things.

4. Game Overview
###############################################################################
This section overviews everything you should know prior to starting this game.
===============================================================================
4.01 - GAME CONTROLS
===============================================================================

Name | Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start Button | Pause/resume a paused game.
Left/Right | Move left and right/push an enemy or a box.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
===============================================================================
4.02 - MAIN MENU
===============================================================================
When you press the Start Button at the Title Screen, you'll be sent to the Main
Menu. There are 2 options (New Game and Password) to choose from.
New Game
--------
If you want to begin a new game, select New Game and you'll be sent to the
World Map screen. At first, you can only access 'Country', but as you complete
levels, you'll unlock new ones. World Map contains 6 stages: Country,
Lakeside, Snowy Mountain, Forest, Plateau, and Desert. Each level is divided
into areas. After you clear a level, you can play the next one.
Password
--------
If you want to continue a game, select Password and you'll be sent to the
Password screen. Passwords allow you to continue at the start of the level
where you left off. Note that they save your progress but not your lives or
score. You receive a password when you clear a level or get a Game Over.
===============================================================================
4.03 - GAME SCREEN
===============================================================================
This section gives information about the Game Screen.
Energy Gauge
------------
This indicates the percentage of energy that Daffy has. The gauge counts down
from 100% to 0%. If it reaches 30%, Daffy becomes hungry and you hear some
'panic' music. You must eat some food before the gauge becomes 0%. If it does
so, you'll lose a life.
Lives
-----
You start the game with 4 lives. If the Energy Gauge becomes 0% or Daffy gets
hit by an enemy, you'll lose a life. You can also lose a life if you fall into
pits. If you lose all your lives, you'll get a Game Over.
Money
-----
This indicates how much Money (in dollars) that you have. You can increase
your amount by collecting Bags, Coins and Treasure Chests.
Bonus Game
----------
When you clear a level, you enter a bonus game. If you can match pictures of
Daffy Duck, you'll get an extra life.
===============================================================================
4.04 - ITEM LIST
===============================================================================
This section lists the items that you can use throughout the game.
Bags
----
These increase your amount of Money by $10,000. If you collect a lot of them,
you'll get an extra life.
Coins
-----
These increase your amount of Money. Sometimes they will appear when you
destroy an enemy.
Treasure Chest
--------------
This increases your amount of Money. The chest appears at the end of each
level. When you get it, you can play the next level.
Hearts
------
When you get a heart icon, you'll get an extra life.
Food
----
This appears when you destroy an enemy. When you get it, the energy gauge
increases.
5. Hints and Tips
###############################################################################
This section lists hints and tips on how to progress through this game. They
are useful to know if you want to have an easier time completing this game.
*If you're having trouble clearing a stage, taking a break and resting may be
a good idea. Be prepared to lose a life a few times. Keep trying, and don't
give up.
*When you are progressing through the game, I advice writing down the passwords
you receive after clearing certain stages. This game doesn't automatically
save your progress, so you must take note of passwords to record it.
*When Daffy Duck is attacked by an enemy, a heart icon appears. If Daffy can
grab this icon, you'll get an extra life.
*Watch an object carefully. If you touch a spiky object or an object that
looks dangerous, you lose a life.
*When you activate a smoke bomb, the timer begins to count down from "3" to
"0". At "0" it explodes. If Daffy is too close to the explosion, you'll lose
a life.
*If you have problems throwing a smoke bomb at an enemy or obstacle near you,
try holding the B Button longer.
