Daffy Duck: Fowl Play
Review by MoeBear
"This Game is Fowl Play"
INTRO
This game is fowl play. I love loony tunes, and especially Daffy Duck. I have yet to see a good loony tunes game. They keep trying over and over, but fail miserably. The only decent one I have seen was the spin off from Taz, Ty the Tasmanian tiger. We all know Daffy Duck is greedy and funny, so the name of this game fits him good, but the game play, that is another story. You figure you will see appearances from other characters in the game, but not really, only Bugs Bunny.
GAME PLAY
This game had so much promise, but they blew it. From the first level all the way to the last level it just plain stinks. First of all this is not a long game, but it has so many annoying things to overcome, you keep doing every board over and over so many times, it looks long. It is just sad; you can tell this was done on purpose. Your weapon, that is another joke, you have a stick of dynamite, when you press the button it lights, and you have three seconds to release and throw it. The catch is you need to throw it perfectly, your throw it in front of your enemy, its no good. You over throw it, its no good; you need to nail him right on the head. Give me a break. Did I mention you also have a time limit on top of all this nonsense, which makes it even worse.
APPEARANCE
Well this part is ok. Graphics look nice and daffy duck looks like he should look like even on a small screen. I don't think this matters that much, cause the game play is so lame and pointless, that the graphics don't really matter that much. There are not many characters in this game so besides daffy, don't expect too see too many loony tunes. The sound to this game is just another sad story, nothing great or special about it. I'm going to be a sport and say it is average on a good day.
OVERALL
Don't know what else more to add; besides this game was a waste of my time, and I was greatly disappointed with it. Can't help it, I'm a sucker for loony tunes games. I love them. Even other's that I have tried, like Trouble, with Sylvester, and the crazy castle games. So, I am a die-hard fan, and I still did not like it. If you want to go try this game out, don't say you were not warned.
