"Since when did you have to button mash in a snowboarding game?"

Boarder Zone is a snowboarding game. Hmmm that might explain why it might be called Boarder Zone. Well, it could be a skateboard game. But it isn't. It's a lame simulator of snowboarding. Its kind of like one of those games they put together and some how make over 50 dollars.

I have no idea why I bought this game. I am starting to regret it.

Story: This game has no story. All you do is go down a mountain and try to dodge logs and trees. Tree dodging! Fun for everyone! Ok, maybe its not as fun as it should be. I will cover that in the fun factor part.

Graphics:These have to have some of the most poorly made graphics ever. The trees and jumps (pretty much half a circle with dots on it) don't look like trees or jumps! All you do is see your snowboarders back which kind of looks bad..... This game most likely only has 10 colors in the whole thing. Seriously.

Control:Well, this game has bad control too. You have no sense of realistic turning. In real life you turn kind of weird on a snowboard. In this game you can move sideways and pretty much move from one side of the screen to the other. It may sound good but it isn't. Usually if that is the only thing you can do, well, you hit a tree and screw up. Not so fun.

Fun Factor:You move right, your snowboard slides right into a tree. Repeat except going left, your person moves to the other side of the screen and hits another tree. You get up and get stuck behind a log.Repeat this over again. How is this supposed to be fun? I would consider hitting your self in the head with a golf club is more entertaining then playing this game. This game mostly consists of mindless button mashing for no reason whatsoever. Amazing, you get a high amount of points. And you set a record! Yay! Too bad, the game erases your records after you turn the game off and replaces the with the records that are put in the game to beat. (That proves that this game was made cheaply.) Ok, so now to talk about other stuff in this game. There are competitions.

Here is what usually happens:
Race-You race against a person. You run into a tree and then another and then you get 10 seconds added to your clock(which are convinently placed in front of stupid trees!), your opponent is way far ahead of you while you are stuck behind a log. Fun.

The thing where you go around the flags-You miss one flag, and are trying to catch up with your opponent, you keep on missing them, and keep on losing time to your score. Despite your opponent misses all of them, and you even beat them, you lose the race. Is that just screwed up or what.

Trick-All you do is button mash and get to the finish line. Stupid and not fun. Especially how the makers of the game thought you would memorize their moves and not use button mashing. I actually did one of the 15 button combos and I got the same amount of points as two 3 button moves. Stupid, very stupid.

Boarder Zone-Also known to me as the game where pressing random buttons may save you. This is a combo of all 3. So imagine going around flags, button mashing, and trying to win a race at the same time. Your opponent doesn't have to do any tricks. Is that just unfair or what?

Extras: There are 2 extras in this game. Well, 3. The first is the ability to change the colors of what your boarders are wearing. <sarcasm>Wow! Amazing! </sarcasm> The next is 2 tracks which look like a reversed version of the first 2 tracks in the game except they are red and black... Or something like that. So you get a stupid code to be able to play those! Wow!

Replay Value:This game has no play value. How can it have any replay value? You just do the same non fun thing all the time. The competitions are not fun to even play, so there is no point in replaying them.

To buy or not to buy? To rent or not to rent?
Don't do either. If you see it. Run away. Save your soul!
