"Sorta fun... for a while"

This game is fun, untill boredom sets in. it is a really fast racing game. the following explanes my score.

Controll 9.0 - Accelerate, brake, left, right, boost. I picked up the controlls before i started playing.

Sound 2.0 - The most horrable sounding game on the gameboy. when i first heard it i thaught my game boy was broken! i never play with the sound on.

Graphics 8.0 - Pretty good graphics. kinda dull though. the FMV opener is the best ive ever seen on gameboy color, though it dosen't appear when you play on a black and white gameboy. The game runs Very fast on GBC and only slows down a little on GB.

Gameplay 7.0 - Sorta reminds me of some of the old NES racing games. You drive on a world as flat as a pancake. turn left, turn right, boost. that's pretty much it. the betting aspect of the game enhances it a little, and so does the car customization. You can even have the cops chase you. they just crash into you though, the worst AI i've ever seen.

Depth 2.0 - only ONE car. Booooooring. there are about 12 tracks, but they all seem the same.

Replay value 3.0 - It's fun to customize your car and see if you can accumulate the most amount of money possable by betting and such, but it's one of those games that you play for about a day and it collects dust for a month and you say ''i haven't played this game in a while'' and pick it up again. Good for long car rides.

Buy or rent - i baught it used for about $10, but i suggest you rent. you will be bored of it by the time you give the game back. it is worth the rent because of the first hour of play, it will suck you in.
