"Tonic gets in trouble, the game itself too."

~ Introduction ~

Hello there, I'm going to tell you something about Tonic Trouble. First of all this game is a cheap copy of Rayman! Most of the moves look the same, also the platforms are almost the same design but there are some good sides on this game too. Ubisoft should stick with Rayman, that's enough.

~ Game Play ~ 5/10

It's platform game like usual, walk, jump, swim, hit and go on. It's the same like Rayman, the screen goes from the left to the right. You start left and the finish is at the right. There are no weapons to use against the enemies so you have to evade them as much as you can because you only have 3 lives! Just jump from platform to platform and search for a potion to transform Ed the hero to Superman Ed, you can easily kill the enemies when he's in this stage but it's too bad it doesn't last long. Be sure to use it when you're at the level bosses. If you really like platform games maybe you won't get bored fast but I bet moist people will play it for a couple of hours and throw it away.

~ Story ~ 4/10

Ed the extra-terrestrial dropped a toxic can on Earth. And everything is in a real mess now! His mission: To get the can back as fast as possible! Hi! I'm secret agent Xyz and I know where the can is: It was picked up by Grogk, who used it to become ruler of the world (oohhh that's so classic). He's hidden it in his fortress. Only one man can help you to get inside: The Doc. But first you need to free him. He was locked up by his own robots. Don't forget to get the keys to open his prison! After this piece of story you have to go in one of the three doors (episodes) to start playing.

~ Graphics & Music ~ 5/10

Too colorful! It's like you're playing a game for a child of 3 years old. The good thing is that it's pretty good detailed. Also the music is more like a toy you turn on to get a baby sleep at night.

~ Play Time & Replay Value ~ 3/10

The game has 5 main worlds, each world has 3 levels. They all look the same so it gets boring really soon. There isn't something new when you beat the game. Too bad.

~ Overall ~ 4/10

A very bad game, a true failure from Ubisoft, hope they learn from their mistakes.

Rent or Buy - Leave it alone or buy it and add it to your collection but don't wast a few hours of your life playing because it's not worth it.
