"Want a horrible game? Buy American Gladiators today!"

A 1 was generous, but that's because I'm in a good mood today, and because GameFAQs doesn't allow zeroes... This game is simply horrible. When people think American Gladiators, they think of Turbo, Nitro, and all the other big guys and gals that beat the hell out of people in various fun events. This game is a HUGE disappointment. Why they even made it still puzzles me. If they're gonna make a game out of a good TV show, they should at least make the game good. This game will forever taint the name ''American Gladiators''. Now, I've played bad games before, and this has to be one of the worst ever. I'll go into a little more detail as we go...

Graphics: 1/10
Wow, simply stunning. I'm amazed at how bad these graphics are. They put graphics that the NES could easily do into a Genesis cart... the only question is, why? Ever play an NES game with bad graphics? This looks like one of those, they aren't even close to being near halfway decent...

Sounds: 0/10
Holy Hannah do I wanna kill the person that made the music for this game. There is only one musical track that constantly plays, over and over and over, and if it was good music that wouldn't be too bad. But it's not... ever hear bad NES music? It's worse than that. There's no sounds either, and if there were, I already hit mute from the music, so eh...

Control: 1/10
Ever play an NES...ok that got old already, but you get the idea, you have to hit like 30 different buttons just to fire the first gun thingy in Assault. The hit detection isn't good either, and overall the controls are very very bad, sluggish, and not worth bothering with.

Challenge: 10/10
It's a challenge to even like this game, or deal with the controls, hence the 10... If the controls were good, the computer would still kick your ass anyway. Usually challenge is good, but when you combine bad graphics, music, play control, hit detection, etc. it makes for a bad time overall.

The Events: 1/10
They could've at least made the events good, and it seems the Computer is incredibly great at them. At least the Eliminator is there... it sucks, but it's there...

Overall: 1/10
I wish I could've given it a 0, but oh well, if you're a sadomasochist, by all means get this game. If you wish to live a normal life, then avoid it like the plague.
