seaQuest DSV
Review by Luzife
"A boring game without any good missions"
Seaquest DSV is a Sega Genesis game where you control your own boat rescue your fellow partners by doing missions. I really isn't a very fun game, but it's worth a rent if you think it sounds interesting. Who knows, you might actually like it... or not, it doesn't feature any gameplay, the graphics are bland, the sound is terrible and it has almost no replay value. Leave this game alone. Please.
Gameplay: 3/10
Ouchie, not a very fun game and it can be incredibly boring looking for new missions. The controls can be hard to get used to, turning around can take a while. It's also hard to aim when you are shooting enemies, so it can be very easy to die at times. The missions are also very long and very pointless and a lot of times you can get yourself stuck and get a gameover because you ran out of missiles.
Graphics: 5/10
There really isn't anything special here. Just average graphics for an average game I guess. When you defeat enemy ships the explosions don't look good and they slow down the whole game. The graphics are just a little bit better then rubbish.
Sound/Music: 1/10
Wow, there isn't really any music (maybe something like elevator music) and the sound sounds like beeps and boops. Almost like Atari. Not impressive one little bit!
Replay Value: 3/10
Not only is it hard to find missions but they arn't any fun and they won't keep you coming back for more, unfortunatly. The missions can also be difficult to complete because you get a set timelimit for when you have to beat them. It also has a lot of pointless shooting as bolders to clear your path, whitch not only takes forever, but makes you run out of missiles incredibly fast.
Overall: 4/10
It really isn't a good game, you should only buy it if it sounds interesting or you want to make fun of it.
But Or Rent?
I would have to say neither. Just leave this game alone and go get Contra: Hard Corps.
