--0: History of this FAQ (like you care)---------------------------------------
v. 1.0 FAQ created

--1: Why I Wrote This FAQ------------------------------------------------------
I wrote this FAQ because I noticed some special moves (not to mention
all the throws, holds, and Zangief's smashes) were not in the manual. I
wanted people to know those moves. Also I wanted something of mine on the
Internet. Don't criticize, this is my first FAQ.

--2: Key-----------------------------------------------------------------------

--3: The World Warriors--------------------------------------------------------

3.1 Ryu------------------------------------------------------------------

Ryu is a good, well-balanced fighter. If you want to kick a** and be able
to get away in time so the opponent cannot return the favor, be Ryu.

Fireball-QCF+P
Ryu shoots a ball of fire across the screen. Apparently, all the Shotokans
are gas-powered, seeing their fireballs are blue (exept a few).

Golden Fireball-QCF+P
This only happens if you are pelting the opponet with fireballs. It is a
litle more damaging than the normal fireball.

Hurricane Kick-QCB+K
Ryu spins around with one foot out. It can be ducked.

Air Hurricane Kick (T)-QCB+K in air
A Hurricane Kick in air. 'Nuff said.

Dragon Punch-FDD+P
Ryu jumps into the air with a spinning uppercut. A good anti-air move.
If done right, the HP version con do 3 hits.

Shoulder Throw-PAO+MP or HP
Ryu throws his opponent over his shoulder.

Kick Throw-PAO+MK or HK
Ryu grabs his opponent, gets under them, and kicks them away. Does good
damage.

Axe Kick-When close, HK
He simply does a two-hit kick.

3.2: E. Honda------------------------------------------------------------

At 304 pounds, this guy seriously needs to go on a diet. To make up for
that, his LP Hundred Hand Slap (see below) can move forward and back.

Hundred Hand Slap-Tap P repeatedly
Honda slaps the opponent very, very, VERY quicky. Press F or B to move
forward or backwards. WARNING: This move is a Shotokan trap. Don't
use this if you are far away and the opponent has a projectile.

Head Butt-CBF+P
Honda flies head first at the opponent.

Super Sumo Press (T)-CDU+K
Flies up with a flipping MP motion, then down with a flipping LP motion.
A good anti-air move.

Shoulder Throw-PAO+MP
Honda has his own Shoulder Throw, not unlike Ryu's.

Stomach Smash-PAO+HP
This hold makes Honda repeatedly smash the opponent against his stomach. It
looks like Honda is hugging the opponent.

Knee Smash-PAO+HK
Honda grabs the opponent and smashes the opponent's head against his knee.

Double Kick-HK when close
A kick that does 2 hits.

3.3: Blanka--------------------------------------------------------------
A bizarre creature, he has good jumping ability. His reach for his attacks
is second only to Zangief (and of course to Dhalsim's stretchy arms).

Electricity-Tap P repeatedly
Blanka channels electricty through his skin. In the unlikely event that
you should hot someone with it, it does fairly good damage. WARNING: This
is another Shotokan trap.

Rolling Attack-CBF+P
Blanka rolls into a ball and flies towards the opponent. This move looks
cool, and does good damage.

Vertical Rolling Attack (T)-CDU+K
He rolls into a ball, but instead of flying forward, he flies up, then
crashes back down.

Double Bite-PAO+MP
Blanka bites the opponent two times in quick succsession.

Head Bite-PAO+HP
Blanka grabs onto the opponent and repeatedly bites the opponent on
the head

3.4: Guile---------------------------------------------------------------

He is another Ryu type character, only with diffrent moves. Another figher
that can kick a**.

Sonic Boom-CBF+P
This is Guile's projectile move. A useful move, but it is a nusance to have
to charge back like that.

Flash Kick-CDU+K
Guile does a mid-air backflip. GREAT anti-air move. If done right, this
can do 2 hits

Knee-F+MK
Guile leaps forward kneeing the opponent. Handy for getting out of corners.

Shoulder Throw-PAO+MP
Does everybody have this move? I'm getting sick of explaning it.

Suplex-PAO+HP
Guile quickly grabs the opponent, flips them over, and bashes the opponent's
head into the ground. This can be done in mid-air

Upside-down Kick-PAO+HK
Guile turns upside-down and does his flipping HK.

3.5: Ken-----------------------------------------------------------------
He is almost exactly like Ryu, exept he is a litle stronger and a little
slower. Another kick a** fighter.

Fireball-QCF+P
Ken shoots a ball of fire across the screen. Apparently, all the Shotokans
are gas-powered, seeing their fireballs are blue (exept a few).

Golden Fireball-QCF+P
This only happens if you are pelting the opponet with fireballs. It is a
litle more damaging than the normal fireball.

Hurricane Kick-QCB+K
Ken spins around with one foot out. The HK version,
if done right, can do 4 hits. It can be ducked.

Air Hurricane Kick (T)-QCB+K in air
A Hurricane Kick in air. 'Nuff said.

Dragon Punch-FDD+P
Ken jumps into the air with a spinning uppercut. A good anti-air move.

Shoulder Throw-PAO+MP or HP
I'm getting sick of this move.

Rolling Kick Throw-PAO+ HK
Ken grabs his opponent, gets under them, and rolls around with them a
lot. Does very good damage if you manage to hit them with it.

Axe Kick-When close, HK
He simply does a two-hit kick.

3.6: Chun Li-------------------------------------------------------------
Chun Li is FAST. Keep this in mind. Also, her kicks are a lot better
than her punches.

Lightning Kick-Tap K repeatedly
Chun Li kicks so fast it looks like a blur. WARNING: This is another
Shotokan trap.

Whirlwind Kick-CDU+K
This is a Hurricane Kick, only upside-down.

Kikoden (T)-HCF+P
This is Chun Li's version of the Fireball (although it looks a lot more
like water).

Throw-PAO+MP or HP
Chun Li grabs the opponent and throws him on the ground in front of her.
This can be done in mid-air.

Backflip-PAO+MK
Chun Li does a backflip that does 2 hits.

Air Flip-PAO+HK
Chun Li flips over the opponent and then crashes back down, doing good
damage.

Wall Bounce-When in a corner UB, UF
Chun Li bounces off the wall behind her. Useful for getting out of
corners.

3.7: Zangief-------------------------------------------------------------
This guy is VERY STRONG. It says in the manual that he wrestles bears. He
SUCKS at jumping, but more than makes up for that with his strength. His
reach is second only to Dhalsim's stretchy limbs.

Spinning Clothesline-PPP
Zangief spins around with his arms outstretched.

Spinning Double Lariot (T)-KKK
Just like the Spinning Clothesline, exept it is faster and goes through
low attacks and projectiles.

Spinning Pile Driver-360+P
Zangief grabs the opponent and flips them upside down. He then proceeds
to leap into the air, spin like a top, and smash the opponent's head into
the ground. This move is hard to do, let alone connect with, but it
does INSANE damage. An easier version that does less damage is below.

Pile Driver-PAO+MP
This is just like the Spinning Pile Driver, exept he dosen't spin or
go as high. It also does less damage.

Back Smash-PAO+HP
Zangief lifts the opponent over his head, and smashes their back
into the ground.

Suplex-PAO+MK
Zangief grabs the opponent, turns them upside-down, and smashes their
head into the ground.

Backwards Suplex-PAO+HK
Zangief grabs the opponent, turns them upside-down, puts them behind his
back, and smashes their head into the ground.

Toss-DF+HP when close
Zangief grabs the opponent and throws them high into the air.

Shoulder Throw-DF+MP when close
How many fighters have this move, anyway?

Crash-U+MP or HP in a strait jump
This move will crush people below you. If you execute this
move next to a standing opponent, he will take damage also.

Double Kick-HK when close
This is a kick that does 2 hits.

3.8: Dhalsim-------------------------------------------------------------
Dhalsim is a strange character. He takes hits like my granny, but
his arms and legs can stretch halfway across the screen. I find this
ability very useful.

Yoga Fire-QCF+P
Dhalsim blows a ball of fire across the screen. Does good damage.
This is the only fireball in the game that is made of fire.

Yoga Flame-HCF+P
Dhalsim blows a LARGE blast of close-up flame. Does INSANE damage.

Yoga Teleport (T)- To front of opponent:FDD+PPP or KKK
                 - To back of opponent:BDD+PPP or KKK
He teleports somewhere on the screen. Use the punch buttons to appear
close to the opponent and the kick buttons to appear further away.

Yoga Corkscrew-D+HP or HK in air
Dhalsim spins around head first for the punch version or feet first
for the kick version and crashes down at an angle.

Yoga Hold-PAO+MP
Dhalsim grabs the opponent and repeatedly punches them on the head.

Yoga Throw-PAO+HP
A simple Shoulder Throw.

Yoga Headbutt-HP when close
A headbutt that does 2 hits.

Yoga Slide-D+HK
Dhalsim slides feet first tword the opponent. This goes under
projectiles.

3.9: Balrog--------------------------------------------------------------
Balrog was one of the bosses in the original Street Fighter II. This will
give you an idea of how good he is in the right hands. He is a strength-
based fighter like Zangief.

Turn Punch-Hold PPP or KKK.
Balrog shouts a number while smashing the opponenent. The longer you hold
PPP or KKK, the larger the number, and the harder the hit.

Dash Punch-CBF+P
Balrog dashes at the opponent and does a left cross. Does good damage.

Dash Uppercut-CBF+K
Balrog dashes at the opponent and does an uppercut. Doesn't go as far
as the Dash Punch but does better damage.

Headbutt Hold-PAO+HP
Balrog grabs the opponent and repeatedly headbutts them.

3.10: Vega---------------------------------------------------------------
Vega is even faster than Chun Li and has that claw to back up his speed
Don't block too much, or the claw will fall off, and Vega's attacks will
be less powerful.

Claw dive-CDU+K to bounce off wall
         -P to do the dive
In Vega stage, he grabs onto the back fence. In any other stage, he
bounces off the back wall. He then does a swan-dive like motion with
his claw.

Air Suplex-CDU+K to bounce off wall
          -DF+P to do the suplex
In Vega stage, he grabs onto the back fence. In any other stage, he
bounces off the back wall. He then grabs the opponent and smashes
their head into the ground.

Claw Roll-CBF+P
Vega does a quick forward roll and stabs the opponent. This does
multiple hits.

Ground Suplex-PAO+HP
Vega grabs the opponent, turns them upside-down, and smashes their
head into the ground.

Wall Bounce-When in a corner UB, UF
Vega bounces off the wall behind him. Useful for getting out of
corners.

Slide-D+HK
Vega slides, one foot first, at the opponent.

3.10: Sagat--------------------------------------------------------------
This guy is a ripoff of Ryu's special moves exept the Hurricane Kick,
which he has replaced with his Tiger Knee. He is so tall that his normal
projectile can be ducked. That is why he has a ground projectile.

Tiger Shot-QCF+P
Sagat's projectile move. Sagat is so tall it can be ducked.

Tiger Ground Shot-QCF+K
A ducking Tiger Shot. It can be easily jumped, but not ducked.

Tiger Uppercut-FDD+P
Sagat's rippoff of the Dragon Punch.

Tiger Knee-D, UF+K
Sagat leaps forward, kneeing the opponent. If done right, this can
do 2 hits.

Tiger Throw-PAO+HP
Sagat's ripoff of the Shoulder Throw.

Tiger Kick-PAO+HK
Sagat's Double kick

3.12: M. Bison-----------------------------------------------------------
This guy is good. He has GREAT jumping ability, fairly good speed, and
pretty good firey hands (literally!) to back it up. Any idea what the
M stands for?

Psycho Crusher-CBF+P
M. Bison spins toward the opponent surrounded by blue flame. Does very good
damage and looks cool, too.

Scissor Kick-CBF+K
M. Bison lunges forward with a 2 hit kick

Head Stomp-CDU+K After the stomp, press P for an extra hit.
M. Bison stomps on the opponent's head, then dives toward the opponent for
2 hits.

Shoulder Throw-PAO+HP
See Ryu's Shoulder throw.

Slide-D+HK
M. Bison slides feet forward at the opponent.

--4: Hints and Advice-----------------------------------------------------------
Try to block alot if you are low on health and/or getting hit multiple times.

Some special moves can leave you vulnerable to attack. Make sure thre is a
good chance of a hit connecting before you use it. (This does not apply if
the opponent has low health.)

Wiggle the D-pad to get out of being dizzy faster.

Try putting a combonation of moves together. For instance, I made this
one for Ryu/Ken: Flipping HK, Ducking HK. I will include combo ideas in
a later version of this FAQ.

You still take damage if you block a special move

--5: Cheat Codes----------------------------------------------------------------
