"This game is great!"

Well, here I am again Gamefaqs... thanks! I pulled out my old Sega Genesis and found Tom and Jerry: Frantic Antics. I said ''Oh yeah, I remember this game.'' So I decided to hook up my Genesis and give it a spin. I wasn't disappointed!

The story line is simple,it's based off the old Tom and Jerry movie that you can still get at a Blockbuster.Those of you who haven't seen the flick, I'll give you a head's up. The game and movie is about a girl named Robyn and her two pals Tom and Jerry. Tom and Jerry as you know, have a long history of fighting and all of that other mess. So... back to the point, somehow Robyn finds out that her long lost Dad's still alive.But her evil Aunty Fig will see to it that Robyn never sees her Dad again. Now it's up too our two Itchy/Scratchy pals to save the day!

Story line: The story line is kinda cheesy, but deep down its not that bad. All though we've all seen the father/daughter scenario before, it's good for the time being. We need a fuzzy story like that. So, since I have no problem with the story, it rates in my book a 10/10.

Gameplay: The gameplay of a game is what a game's supposed to be all about. Tom and Jerry: Frantic Antics is hilarious in each and every way! I mean, you fight huge rats with shotguns that always aim at your south pole! The busta cats on the street, on the third level are also very funny. You and a friend can go as two player, and go through the levels as Tom and Jerry.As defense against your enemies you can roll,throw ink bottles, footballs and trash can lids. Although there are only 8 levels all of them are great slap your pants, funny! So I rate the gameplay 10/10

Sound: The sound is alright...if you listen to old cartoons enough, you might recognize some key noises. The levels remain basically bland music, but it's not bad to listen to. So I rate the sound for Tom and Jerry Frantic Antics a 8/10.

Graphics: Let's not kid ourselves, these graphics aren't that special. But this game was made in 93'. Some people might say these graphics aren't clear. Personally the game is so good ,you don't pay attention to the graphics! Since this game was made in 93' I'll give it a 7/10.

Replay Value: The replay value is very high! Once you beat the game you'll still want to play the game for fun.

Overall: This game is awesome. I highly recommend it. If you like fun, family games, then this a great title. Let me close by saying, Hitech (The company that made this game.) You've done a great job! Thanks Gamefaqs, see ya!
