"An excellent side scroller, maybe a bit hard though..."

This game made it to the Sega Genesis, Super NES, & Sega CD. I believe the Genesis version was the least known, but it is an excellent game which should not be forgotten.

Graphics

This game has superb graphics. The animation is extremely smootm & there is tons of parallax. This little gem for the Genesis was very well made. The game has very cool artwork. There is one stage in particular that looks especially cool. Level 3, the Ancient Temple, is a level composed of bugs and worms that are squirming around all over the screen. It makes for a very cool, yet disgusting effect. This game has some of the smoothest animation I have seen on the Genesis as well.

Music/Sound

The game shines in this category as well. Even from the beginning, this game has extremely good music, some of the best for the system. JVC & Core did a very nice job with the sound as well.

Gameplay

This game has very good gameplay. It is your basic side scroller, but the coolest thing is that your character, can transform himself into a werewolf by collecting the right ''orb''. Once you become a werewolf, you have all kinds of special powers to unleash. The levels are fairly big too, and you sometimes have to search quite a bit in order to find the correct way to the end of each level. The only complaint I have with this game is that it is quite hard. They need to have a code or something for more lives. Overall though, this game is very well made, and makes for a most excellent side scroller. If anyone knows a code for this game, get in touch with me. I have tried searching for a long time and have come up with half of what I believe to be a level select code: ABACAB in the Options menu, but the other half does not work (I found this out from the Sega CD version of the game at GameFaqs.com).
