LEKAR is an app from IKEA aiming to get parents and children to play actively together. The app provides games from all over the world, customized for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

“Lekar” means games in Swedish and the application is developed as a response to the findings in Playreport. Initiated by IKEA, Playreport is the world’s largest international, research-driven project investigating play and its effects on family life.
