"Ever wanted to see what happens when you release your own game?"
Introduction --- In this game, you set up and manage your own video game company! This is a stimulation game where you can manage every aspect of your own video game company. Will you make your own successful game console, make an extremely popular game, or will you go flop on your belly, and fail miserably?
Gameplay --- The game is simple, you simply set up your own video game company, and manage your staff. You do that by interacting with the Iphone/Ipod's touch screen. You can either choose to earn money by finishing jobs that other companies want, like making a theme song for their game. Or, you can make games for the console you want or even the console you want to design, and then choose whether or not you want your staff to do the work, or to hire a renowned specialist for each aspect of it. There are many stages while you create your video game. They are the Programming, Scenario, Graphics and Sound. There are really cool cut scenes where you can see the staff you choose either try his best and make a particular stage average, a failure, or a success! Of course, your staff do get tired, so you might see some of them returning home while doing a particularly long job. It takes some getting used to, but once you get started, this is truly a very engaging game. If you do create a fantastic game, you earn a lot of money which you can use to continue developing games, and you might even win an award at the end of the year!
Storyline --- The storyline is pretty much the progress to upgrading your office and hiring new staff. It's up to you to decide how fast you want to progress. You can either make your own games, or just work for others. Of course, if you do things successfully, you might progress faster, but if you don't, you take longer. That's pretty much the storyline.
Graphics/Sound --- The graphics are in 2D, but are beautifully coloured. Hence, you will find the graphics quite aesthetically pleasing. The sounds are actually pretty good, but you will notice that the music can get pretty repetitive. Therefore, you may get sick of it, but for me, I enjoyed playing along with the cool music.
Playtime and Replayability - You can play for an infinite amount of time with your video game company. The replayability of the game is pretty high as you can easily apply what you have learnt into making better games to win awards, or use them to advance faster through the game on a new save file.
Final Recommendation --- If you enjoy stimulation games, this will suit you, and you should try it. If you don't, you might want to avoid it as not everyone enjoys stimulation games which can be slow or fast-paced.
