Re: plague inc. Bacterial Resistance - does it replace heat and cold resistance?

The bacteria speciability says that the bacteria is hardened to survive in ALL climates... Is this the same as heat and cold resistance? If so, it makes sense to use this abiliy because it is is cheaper than heat and cold resistance... And cheaper still since it applies to ALL climates, meaning we only have to evolve Bacterial Resistance instead of both heat and cold resistance?

With bacterial resistance it makes it so that you don't have to invest into 4 different perks with a lot of dna points. The last of bacterial resistance gives a big boost around the world to ALMOST any climate. The only exception are the extremes like iceland, greenland, and any country around the equator. It doesn't mean it won't work well... it just wont be as efficient at infecting others quickly. I have used the bacterial resistance for a win sooooo i recommend over the heat and cold resistances.

There is no need for Bacterial Resiliance. Just get Cold Resistance 1 and Drug Resistance 1 and you are good to go (for infecting everyone on the planet)!

Heat Resistance isn't needed, it just makes Angola not take as long. (Although it doesn't take as long as Canada anyway!)

I think it serves more to reinforce them than replace them completely. You can probably get by just maxing out your Bacterial Resistance, but if you invested in the specific climate defenses you may spread faster.
