Land Rush is inspired by the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889 in which previously restricted land of the United States in the state of Oklahoma were opened for homesteading on a first arrival basis.Players take turn to mark unmarked sides of land parcels. The player marking the last unmarked side of a parcel captures the parcel and the winner is the player making the maximum number of captures for the level. It has 4 levels for the iPhone and iPod and 12 levels for the iPad. Each level has a fixed number of parcels to be captured. LandRush is a game of strategy to limit the number of parcels captured by other players while maximizing one's captures.LandRush is a free universal app for the iPhone, iPod and iPad with additional options such as multi-player, a random filler and additional levels for the iPad enabled by a small one time purchase. In the free version, a player plays against the system which plays its turn intelligently and automatically. In the multi-player mode, upto 4 players can play against each other. LandRush can be enjoyed by family, friends, kids and adults.
