LADDERS AND TOURNAMENTS

If you want a challenge as well as a fast-moving game, try our ladders and tournaments.

Ladders:
-- Start at the bottom of the ladder, and challenge players above you to move up.
-- Our most popular ladder (28-hour Open chess) currently has about 1,800 players.
-- Hundreds of active ladders to choose from.
-- 28, 48, 72, and 100 hour (per move) ladders available.

Tournaments:
-- Play 2 games each with 3 other players.
-- Winner(s) move on to the next round until there is a single winner of the final round.
-- Later rounds feature better players.
-- New tournaments start twice a week in almost every game type.
