ColoriTrac
Description
The name of this color vision test is ColoriTrac, which is an adaptation of the gold standard that eye doctors have used to test red-green color vision for more than 100 years. The goal of the test is to match the yellow color in the bottom half of the circle by varying the amount of red and green in the top half of the circle as you move your finger up and down along the slide to the right of the circle.
After clicking the "Results" tab, you will see your "Score". The Score only indicates a RELATIVE performance on the tests. The reason for the test only being a measure of RELATIVE performance is because lighting and other conditions can vary. Hence, the test only measures RELATIVE performance; the higher the Score the better your color vision. However, you can still compare how well you do against someone else or how one eye compares to the other or how you can improve with practice. Find out whom in the family or of your friends gets the highest Score.
It is important to note that there are other types of color vision problems besides red-green discrimination. While the ColoriTrac test will provide a measure of your vision, it is not a substitute for an examination by your eye care professional. If you have any questions about your color vision or the results of the ColoriTrac test, contact your eye care professional. We hope you have fun exploring the limits of your vision.
