Crossnerd is not your average word game. With its ingenious concept, meticulously crafted levels, and enjoyable gameplay, it has cult-status potential written all over it.

Each level presents you with a Scrabble style crossword in which some of the letter tiles have swapped places. Your job is, surprisingly, to swap them back again.

The number of possible swaps for each tile is reduced by the fact that it can only swap places with another tile of the same type (end, straight, corner, 3-way or 4-way).

If, in your innocent excitement, you make a swap that doesn't return both tiles to their original places, the crossword will be rescrambled, and you have to start over.

UPDATE: We've added a Daily Challenge, one free puzzle every day, themed after historical and current events of the day.

This version is meant to wet your appetite and get the juices flowing for a future super duper Crossnerd which will be heavily influenced by user feedback.
