    This FAQ is here to cover the many new items available in version 1.10 of
    Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Version 1.10 was released to the public on
    October 28, 2003 after two years of speculation, and it changed many aspects
    of the game and added may new items and features. It is almost like a free
    expansion to the game. I decided to write this FAQ to address the additional
    items added to the game that other FAQs may not cover. This FAQ will not list
    any items from past versions of Diablo II or Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
    
    For information about the items from 1.09 or earlier, read either the other
    FAQs and item lists, check out the Arreat Summit or Diabloii.net. Almost all
    of them cover the items from version 1.09 or earlier, the version that this
    game was in for the past two years. 
    
    There are some new features on some of these new items. The most noticeable are
    the plus skills that will give the skill to anyone. For example, the Dragonscale
    Zakarum shield gives a +10 to the skill Hydra. Hydra is a Sorceress skill and
    since it does not have the words sorceress only in parentheses at the end, it
    means anyone with that shield equipped can use a level 10 Hydra, even if the
    character is not a Sorceress. Other features includes +% of elemental damage or
    -% of an enemy's resistances. These can be very useful for Sorceresses or
    anyone who uses elemental damage as their main form of offense.
    
    However, if such an item is equipped on the character who has the skill, it
    will cap off at three. For example, an item that had +10 to Fireball, a
    sorceress skill, for everyone would only give a sorceress equipped with the
    item only a +3 to Fireball.

    In 1.10, 99 new elite unique items have been added in the game. This includes
    18 that are class specific and items that never had unique versions of them in
    the past, like charms, jewels, and circlets. Overall they are some of the most
    powerful unique items in the game and feature some interesting properties.
    This FAQ does not include any of the Unique Items that went unchanged from 1.09
    to 1.10. For information on those, check Sir Alex's Unique items FAQ,
    Diabloii.net or the Arreat Summit.
    
    Don't forget that some items now have more than one unique version. For example,
    the Stone Crusher and the Schaeffer's Hammer (from 1.09) are both Legendary
    Mallets. So when you see an unidentified Legendary Mallet it could be either
    one. Plus, you have no way to tell which one it will be because in 1.10, 
    unidentified unique items look just like the base item. You may want to be more
    careful trading for unidentified items or stop trading with unidentified items
    completely.
    
    Note: Many of these uniques have Ladder Only listed. This means the item will
    only appear on the Battle.net Ladder mode.  Ladder only items will also appear
    on single player too.

    There are 8 unique jewels added in 1.10 and they are all called the Rainbow
    Facet. Two of each one is based on an element. Two for fire, two for cold, two
    for lightning, and two for poison. One of each element's jewel has an effect
    when you level up. The other one has an effect when you die. Here is a list of
    each one.

    the only sets to have been changed and there are no new sets either. The

    One of the most welcomed additions to 1.10 is the new runewords. Twenty new
    runewords have been added to the game and they are the most powerful runewords
    yet. With the right base items, these can be some of, if not the most power
    items in the entire game.  However, these runewords require some very rare
    runes to be used. So use the runes to make them wisely.

    Quick tip to counter the Bond Fetish effect: 
    
    I found out that if you turned into a Bone Fetish with this helm and you are a
    shape-shifting Druid, you can turn back to normal easily. If you are a Werewolf
    or Werebear form while this happens, turn back to normal and the Delirium effect
    will instantly wear off. You can also apply this to anyone equipped with a Beast
    weapon or the Wolfhowl and is using the shape-shifting abilities of those items.

    On May 16, 2004, more than six months after 1.10 was released, some people on
    Battle.net discovered a new runeword called Splendor. The runeword probably was
    enabled by Blizzard from a server-side patch. This means it is only available
    on the realms until Blizzard releases a new patch for single player. A day
    later, two other runewords were discovered as well. It is no secret that there
    are several runewords in the game that are not yet activated. While it is
    unknown if there are more that the ones listed that have been enabled, it is
    possible that Blizzard could enable more in the future by surprise from server
    side patches or in a new patch.
    
    The runewords below are not listed on the Arreat Summit at the present time.

    though I did not have all of my facts straight. Added the two other runewords,
    along with updating the stat range for Splendor. Plus I added a quick tip to
