"Just like the board game, only no mess!"

Scrabble is a work of pure genius, well maybe not, but whoever made it had extensive knowledge of un-heard of words.

Sound-10/10

The sound is possibly the best part of the game. There are over ten original compositions, and several classical pieces. Although some of the songs get repetitive, most of them are very enjoyable to listen to. My favorite song is Canon by Paco Bell.

Graphics-6/10

It may just be my computer, but the graphics are very choppy. Lot's of the graphics are entirely unnecessary and take a long time. For example: It took over a minute for all of the tiles to go back to my rack after I spelled a word wrong. Luckily, there is an option to turn the graphics off so that the game will go by much quicker. Also, you can set the background to different backgrounds, some of these include: Outer space, waterfalls, and cities.

Control-9/0

The control here is pretty simple, all you have to do is take tile off the rack and place it on the board.

Gameplay-9/10

It can get a little repetitive because all you do is spell words, but someone who like the board game will absolutely love this. You can play with your friends or against the computer. The computer has several different difficulties. The words the computer uses gets more advanced the higher the level. At the champion level, most of the words it uses will be unrecognizable to the average user. Luckily, if you get stuck, you can get hints as to what words you can make. An added bonus is that you always go first, and the first word is always doubled in points, so if you pull into an early lead, you may be able to keep it the entire game. It is also fun to see if you can break your previous records.

Replay value-10/10

It's Scrabble, so of course you will play it again and again. If you turn the graphics and the sound off, you could play one game in almost 15 minutes.

Buy/Rent-Buy

This is a must have for avid Scrabble players. It offers a challenge to most people, and it's a fun way to learn. If you can't find it for under ten dollars, just stick to the original, though, it's not worth that much.

Overall-8/10

It is a very fun way to play the game we all love. I would suggest it for only the newer Macs however because it can take a long time to load.
