The player takes command of a group of four escapists that must work their way through level after level of mind-bending prisons.

The escape routes are not always clear-cut, and the prisons are awash with levers and pressure pads that need to be activated or deactivated to ensure all escapists are released.

The player has to manage to get the four units working as a team to ensure their release and graduate as a fully fledged escape master at the end of the game.
