The objective of the game is to melt silver into lingots in order to literally "Forge a Fortune". There is an abundance of silver coming the player's way, and it is important to keep up with the flow.

The game starts with a set of silver pieces arranged on a grid. The player moves the cursor left and right to collect and drop the silver onto the grid. More than one piece can be picked up at one time, provided they are of the same value. When enough pieces of the same value are stacked (horizontally or vertically) so that when added up they contain at least enough silver to make the next value piece, they melt to form that value, which then drops onto the grid. New rows appear all the time, so it is important to convert as much silver as possible and score the maximum amount of points before the game finishes.
