Welcome to my Prince of Persia: Warrior Within FAQ for the Mobile Phone. This
is my first time writing a FAQ so forgive me if i'm not that good at it.

This is a FAQ that will help you conquer Adventure Mode which is the main game
in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

Adventure Mode is divided into four chapters. The first three chapters all
have 3 levels and the last chapter is consists of only one level which is
the final boss.

Hope my FAQ helps!!!

Chapter I
Destiny

        -Sands of Time

This whole level is basically a tutorial for the game. Go right and you'll
encounter a high ledge. Press 2 to jump and grab hold of ledge. Press 2 again
to pull yourself up. Once you're up on the ledge, you'll encounter a hole.
Press 3 to jump across it. You'll see a chain. Press 3 to jump and grab hold
of the chain. Press 2 to move up the chain to get to the higher ledge. Jump
over the gap with 1. Continue up by pressing 2 just like what you did awhile
ago. You'll see that you can't cross the pathway standing straight. So, press
8 to crouch. Movement is 4 to crouch-walk left and 6 to crouch-walk to the
right. Hold either button to roll in that direction. Afterwhich, you'll see
that the arrow is pointing down. You have two options, one of which is to just
run and fall down, which will take a chunk of your life. Surely, you don't
want that. So crouch, slowly walk to the edge and press 8 to drop down but
still hold the edge of the ledge and press 8 again to drop safely. This
is often overlooked and if you forget it, you might regret it. Continue right
and jump over the gap with 3. Crouch down to avoid the fireballs. You'll
see a potion. Walk over a potion to restore your health and energy. Crouch
down and walk to the edge and press 8 to grab the chain. Hold 8 to slide down
the chain. Now, you'll encounter your first enemy. Press 5 to equip your
swords. Now go forward and engage the enemy. Press 4 to attack left
regardless of the direction the Prince is facing, press 6 to attack right
regardless of the direction the Prince is facing and press 5 to attack in the
direction the Prince is facing. Later, you'll learn to use these controls to
create effective combos. Press 0 to sheathe your swords and go on to the
portal to the next level.

       -Escape

Break the barrel with 5. Go up the ledge with 3. On the ledge, you'll find
a potion. Press 3 to grab the chain. You can swing on the chain using 4
and 6 and use 1 and 3 to jump off. Again, those buttons correspond to the
same direction. Crouch-walk and press 5 to kick the enemy off the ledge.
Jump across and drop down (it's too low to cause you any damage). Jump
to the chain, to the other chain and then finally to the ledge. Go across
and go up the ledge. Two enemies here. Use 4 and 6 to attack both enemies.
For me, the quickest way to dispose of your enemy is Heart Render (555)
which will kill any enemies. Blade Dervish (85) is also very effective,
enabling you to take two enemies down. You can use Blade Dervish to
knock down an enemy off it's feet, then walk over him and press 5 to
thrust your swords to kill him. Continue on and you'll encounter an
enemy on a chain. While on a chain, the only attack available is 5.
Two hits and the enemy is gone. Jump through the other chains till you
reach a platform. Go down the chain and enter the portal.

       -Temptation

Go left and walk over the button to raise the hammer which is blocking the
way. Now you'll learn one of the most useful tricks in Prince of Persia,
running on walls. Press and hold 2 to run up the wall. You can use
this trick to cross gaps and defeat enemies. Be wary that you running on
the wall depletes your energy (the blue bar under your health bar) and
once your energy is depleted, the Prince will fall from the wall.
Go on and watch out for the intermittent hammer. Slide down the chain and
defeat the enemy that appears. You'll encounter a series of gaps. Be wary
of the intermittent blades on the wall since if you come in contact with
them you'll die. Wall walk across the last gap. Defeat the annoying bird
that pops out of nowhere. Be wary of these birds since they pop out of thin
air and can kill you if you're not careful. Slide down the chain. Inside
the barrels is an enemy. I highly suggest that you break the barrel and
defeat the enemy for points at the end of the level. Continue on but be
ready for a bird. Defeat the bird and be careful of the falling hammers.
Break the barrel for a potion and wall walk to the chain. Swing from the
chain and time your jump to reach the other side. A bird will pop out.
Defeat the pesky creature. Crouch-walk to avoid the blades and walk over
the button to raise the hammer. Break the barrel for another potion. Jump
to the chain and pull yourself up. Jump from chain to chain and be ready
for a bird at the last chain. Jump to the longer chain and pull yourself
up again. You'll encounter a semi-invincible enemy. To defeat this kind
of enemy, you have to push them to a trap (blades, hammers, gaps),
use finishing combos (e.g. Heart Render) or knock them off their feet
and press 5 while standing over them to kill them with a mean thrust.
After you've taken care of that, head over to the portal to exit the level.

Chapter II
Time

      -Search for the Past

Go left and you'll encounter a bunch of moving platforms. Don't walk on
them and do all the timing stuff. Just walk on the wall to get to the
other side. Once there, you'll face an enemy. Dispose of him. Getting
through the hammers is easy. Time yourself perfectly and pass through.
Continue on and you'll see blades intermittently blocking the way up
the ledge. Wait until after the bottom blade disappears and then go up
the ledge. Once up, walk a few steps and two enemies will appear. Use
Blade Dervish (85) to get rid of them. Continue on and you'll encounter
another set of moving platforms and this time you can't use the wall.
Crouch down and walk to the most edge of the platform you're on. Wait
until the platform starts to appear again and roll your way to the
other side. Be wary of the lone blade on the other side. Once there,
an enemy will attack you. Kill him. Also, break the barrel for a
potion. Go up the ledge and up the chain. Jump off to another platform.
You'll see a carpet of blades. Wall walk above them. Continue on
and press the button. If you choose to explore the right side of
the platform where the button is, you'll see a barrel which does not
contain anything and an enemy will appear. Continue on and jump to the
stable left platform. Another moving platform. Time yourself to get up
on the next ledge safely. Jump from chain to chain to the platform.
You'll encounter two hammers. They're easy to get past though. Next
up is blades on the wall. Crouch down and roll past. The next
one is a LONG LONG CARPET of blades. Utilize wall walking and jumping
to get past this one. You'll encounter an enemy afterwards. Defeat
him. Slide down the chain and continue on. Press on the button to
make blades shoot up and kill the enemy. Wait for a moment for the
blades to retract and go your way. Now, an enemy is standing on a
button. Wall walk is the answer. Wall walk over to him and introduce
him to your sword. Once all that's done, continue on and enter the
portal.

      -Suspended Gardens

The level starts with you on a platform above two enemies. Now, one
is walking back and forth. Time yourself and jump over him. If
you do it right, you'll knock him and his pal over. Use Blade
Dervish to get rid of them. Move on to the right and take hold of
the hanging chain. On the next ledge is another enemy. Dispose
of him. Jump to get to the upper ledge. Be wary of the bird that
appears as you move closer to the barrels in the platform. The
first barrel contains nothing but the second has a potion. Go on
to the left and up another platform. Wall walk across the gap
and go up onto another ledge using the chain. Another barrel
here has a potion. Wall walk above the intermittent blades.
Another bird here. Above you is an enemy. Wait for him to look in
the other direction and when he is looking the other way go
up and if you do it right the Prince will kick him and knock him
down. Finish him. Go up the chain and you'll receive a quick
tutorial about ax-wielding enemies. Just like baseball, hit the
axe he throws at you. Continue up and break the barrel for
another potion. (a lot here, eh?) Continue to the left and you'll
encounter a pair of annoying birds. Blade Dervish again here.
After you kill the birds, another pair appears. Be wary that these
birds can cause a lot of damage and might kill you. Continue
on and a soldier will appear behind you. Make him feel your wrath.
Another cutscene here. See the two axe guys? They're not that
bright. Inch down until they see you and then quickly go up the
rope. Watch what happens. Go down to the platform where they
were standing and continue left. A potion is in the barrel.
Go up and up on the platform till you reach the highest. Enemy
here. Wait until he turns away and then attack him. Continue
on to the right and a pair of birds will harass you. After
defeating them will come another pair. After you're all done with
those birds, continue to the right and break the barrel for the
much-needed potion. You'll see an arrow pointing to the right.
So the bird encounter was pretty much worthless, huh?
Continue on and pass the chain to make an enemy appear. Kill him.
There's another potion inside the barrel. Now, go up and you'll
encounter another ax-throwing guy. You know what to do. Go jump
to the platform he was on and you'll encounter a pair of
invisible enemies. They're not really invisible since you can see
they're swords. Kill them like normal soldiers. A cutscene will
occur and the level will end.

      -Sic Transit Gloria

Go right and dodge the blades. You'll be acquainted with another of the
Prince's abilities, to stop time. Once you come in contact with the
hourglass, a quick tutorial will be given. Press # to stop time and
freeze objects. Use the ability to stop time while the blades are
inside the wall. Sadly, this ability does not get that much use
throughout the course of the game. Press # while the blades are in the
wall. Be quick and you'll reach a time-stopped soldier. Attack him and the
Prince will kick him sending him to his gruesome death. If you want,
take time to refill your energy gauge and use wall walk to cross over
the bladed area. If you don't then, take the ordinary way and time your
jump. Once across, soldiers will appear at both sides of the Prince.
Use Blade Dervish here. If you're lucky, one soldier will be stupid enough
to walk off the ledge. Continue on down the rope. Down at the rope's end,
a barrel holds a potion. See the alternatin platforms? You don't need to
do all that timing and jumping. Make sure your energy gauge is full. Walk
to the edge and use wall walk. If you do it right, once the Prince is past
the alternating platforms, the Prince will grab hold of a rope and at the
same time kick two enemies down. Pretty cool if you ask me. Jump off the
rope and use Blade Dervish to send the enemy to his death. Inside the
barrel is an hourglass to stop time. Frankly, I didn't need to use it.
Make sure your energy gauge is full. Walk to the edge and wall walk and
quickly run under the four hammers. If you have difficulty pulling this
trick, just use the time stop. After the four hammers is an enemy. You
can push him to the outstretched blade for an instant kill. After you
kill him, crouch under the blade, cause if you don't, you know what
happens. Underneath the platform with the outstretched blade is another
tight spot. Crouch and wait until the furthermost blades retract and
then roll your way out. You'll encounter another tight spot. Same thing
here. Wait until there are no blades in sight and roll your way out.
You'll fall from a pretty high height but if you have full health it's
nothing to worry about. Crouch again and step on the switch to instantly
gore an enemy to death via blades. You'll see another switch. DO NOT
STEP on it. It will cause the holes right above it spew merciless blades.
Simply press 3 to jump over it. You'll now encounter four hammers. Don't
worry, there will always be one hammer up. Utilize those spaces and be
patient to get out of there. Once past those hammers, break the barrel for
a potion. Continue on and an enemy will appear. Use Blade Dervish to
introduce him to the blades below. There's a tricky part next. Once the blade
above is gone, mash 3 to quickly jump from rope to rope. You'll be dealt
some damage but the damage is quite manageable. At the end of the rope
area is an enemy. Kill him. Inside the barrel is not a potion, but another
enemy. It's your choice if you're going to open it. At the next platform
is an ax-wielder with blades that seperates him and you. Obviously you
can't get near him. Just play baseball with him. Up on the ledge is a
hammer, avoid it. Go up the rope and avoid the blades by swinging from
one side of the rope to the other. Go up on the platform with the switch.
Step on the switch to kill the ax-wielder up another platform. Continue
going up the rope. At the top is another ax-wielder. Make him eat his
own ax. Jump off the rope and enter the portal to exit the level.
