Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

"One of the greatest mobile adventure games available, with only ONE flaw"

I first downloaded this game because I saw my friend playing it on his cellphone. I was amazed at the array of things you could do in this game...

GRAPHICS

The graphics are among the best I've seen for mobile phones. The prince's moves and his enemies are all detailed. The background is also very colorful. I was surprised at how vibrant everything looked.

SOUND

You're treated by an Arabian sounding tune at the start. I, however, prefer to keep the sounds off. When I do turn on the sounds, it's all decent and it fits the game perfectly

GAMEPLAY

There are 4 episodes, with about 3 stages for each, and each stage becomes noticeably harder. From the tutorial, to the final boss, the gameplay is fast and enjoyable. Each stage you finish, you unlock a new combo. The combos vary from moves for taking out 2 enemies at a time, to a finisher, to a stun move. You can also jump from chains, flip around, and do other cool stuff. You have unlimited credits, but dying makes you lose points from your total score. This is also not just a hack-and-slash game, but it also makes you think of what you do next, because every five steps you make, you encounter a trap of some sort. There's also an ability to stop time, but this isn't as extensively used as it's console counterparts

REPLAYABILITY

The game will take you about an hour or two to finish, but there's also this mode called Arena, where you take out an array of enemies without dying, at the fastest time possible. The game is full of traps and spikes and other things that'll take you quite a while to finish. This game will make you want to play it over and over again, since IT'S JUST SO FUN

THE FLAW

The game's too short, there also isn't much of a story in the game, things are explained by the prince talking and other stuff. Still a great game though

OVERALL

fun game. Be sure to get this whenever you want an action game for your phone.
