"Mario Kart clone that I like!!!"

This is possibly a Mario Kart clone but it’s pretty cool. The characters and tracks are detailed with almost everything and they look really great on the Nintendo 64. This game has awesome tracks and some short cuts and also dead ends too. Rare did a good job on making a top quality multiplayer racer to mess around with. The bosses you have to race are awesome and look great and the gameplay is excellent. The graphics are very sharp and look great. The control or gameplay is tight and responsive. The sound and music in this game is very good. This may be just like Mario Kart but its just as good. The game is fun to play and should provide plenty of fun for you and friends.

GAMEPLAY **9**

The gameplay is responsive and quick in motion; it feels great to play on the Nintendo 64’s controller! The handling depends on the character you are playing as, as well as the top speed and acceleration. Every racer has there own way of racing either by car, hovercraft or an awesome airplane. Each vehicle you choose handles differently than the other. It’s some top quality gameplay on this game. The game works very good with the Nintendo 64 controller and shows no problems at all. The control is quick and responsive and I got no complaints about it.

SOUND/MUSIC **8**

You have everything all the sounds are detailed and sound great. The characters will make sounds or yell of you hit them. The music was wisely chosen and is very detailed in its own way. All of the sounds your driver makes are well detailed and sound real. You can even honk a horn in this game. Pretty cool ah. The games sounds are very detailed but they are just like any other racing game out there. The music is very good sounding and is original. Everything sounds great and the music is great.

GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **10**

The graphics are pretty much the same as Mario Kart but still look great. The game is detailed very well and has lots of little extras to see in the levels. The graphics are spectacular looking and they are really awesome. The game is smooth flowing and looks great. The characters are very neat looking and are very detailed with all sorts of things. The level designs are very well thought up. The levels have shortcuts but some times they are dead ends. Everything is there all the details and awesome levels that are not an eye sore. The levels are full of missiles and other stuff to use to get your opponent off the road. The game is very fun to play with these extras.

REPLAYABILITY **9**

The game is pretty high because more than one person can play and there are many levels to choose from just like in Mario Kart. It is a cool game to play with friends and does pretty well as a one-player game. The game is full of levels of racing and bosses to beat. The multi player mode is very fun to play with friends. The game should last quite a while its fairly long.

CHALLENGE **8**

If you’ve played a lot of racing games this game is pretty simple. All of the tracks are pretty easy to race on. The computer players aren’t very tough to beat but when you have to collect the coins then the game gets hard. The games computer players need to be a little harder. The game doesn’t put up to much of a challenge but most of the bosses should.

RENT OR BUY
I don’t know but you may want to check out both titles. (Mario Kart 64) and (Diddy Kong Racing). They are both great titles it’s just hard to choose the best. Read the review you decide.
