Fighting Force 64
Review by Blaze gamer
"The Best!"
Being so hard to find to good fighting games for nintendo 64, I searched desperately till I found one. Here's the review!
Story 5: Stop Dr.Zeng and his henchman from destroying the world! This has to be the oldest theme there is! If you get this game please forget the story and just have fun with its awesome gameplay!
Gameplay 10: The game has 4 people to pick from. Each have 18 moves, 4 special moves, and 6 throw moves. All of them have different attributes and moves. It has 12 stages, 25 levels, and 5 boss levels. You can duke it out in places like the park, mall, airport, and the Bronx. When you beat certain bosses you are able to choose between levels you want to go to, depending on how much money you have. You can even save your progress to your memory card! Almost everything can be destroyed. You can even destroy ATM and coke machines! Their are also many weapons you can pick up during the game such as bazookas, handguns, bats, poles, and almost anything you can get your hands on. The best feature is that it is multi-player.
Graphics 10: The characters looks are ok, but what really stands out are the backgrounds! The background actually move. In some levels you can see cars in traffic in others airplanes land. The levels looks are awesome. As far as the characters, weapons, and cars they looked to muck like the playstation version.
Sound 8: The game had clear grunts and character voices. The gun sound affects were the best! You can even hear the cars in the background! The music however, stinks. It has mostly the same three or four songs the whole game!
Control 10: I found it hard to master my throw moves at first, but as I kept playing I mastered them.
Replay 8: You will want to explore all the levels since you can't go to them all at first, but after that the only time you will want to play is with your friend or you just want to beat something up.
Challenge 8: Even on easy after awhile you'll start getting you tail kicked, but as you learn the levels it becomes a lot easier. You can forget having a challenge on multi-player mode though, unless you put it on hard.
This has to be one of the best fighting games on nintendo 64! So if you're a fighting fan I would pick it up for about 25 bucks(used). If your not a fighting fan just rent it and see if you like it.
