"A let down from '98"

You except sequels of other games to be better then the others right...? wrong. Keep reading and you will know what I mean

Gameplay- The gameplay is alright. Tackling and passing the ball looks a lot better from last year. But there is something that has me saying "why does this happen?". If you get a long run with your quarterback, he has to sit out of the game while backups come in. And it keeps repeating until you use tight ends as quarterbacks. And it is really hard to catch balls on here. To realistic in a way.

Story- Its a football game so there is not a story. You can do season mode and replay old Super Bowls to relive history. That is pretty much it.

Sound- The sound is great. You can hear the players grunt when they get tackled. You can hear the quarterback hike and everything else. The crowd makes noise too, and you can hear it really good. The menu music is pretty cool, just like '98. They chose good music for both games.

Graphics- The were majorly improved from the '98 game. Player models look like them from the Madden series. The only thing I don't like are the facemasks. They are all the same and they all have linemen like facemasks. The crowd still looks fake and you can tell, but its all good. All the teams logos look really nice. Other then that, the graphics were improved BIG time.

Replayabillity- You can do all the Super Bowl replay history games, you can do season as much as you want and you can play exhibition games all you want. But eventually you will get bored with this game just like any other game.

Buy or Rent- Just buy the game. Its only $2.00 or less(seriously). I bought it for $1.49 and it was a great buy. Its a good game and you will have fun with it. Im not even sure if video stores still have this game so just go out and add it to your collection!
