"A fun 3-D shooter"

Recently I purchased the game South Park for the Nintendo 64. Well, that was a great day. First, I'll start by saying it stays true to the show by all means. You can play as all of your favorite south park charecters, including Mr. Garrison (and Mr. Hat), Mrs. Cartman, Terrance and Phillip, and Officer Barbrady to name just a few. That is, in the multiplayer mode. In the one player mode however, you may play as Cartman, Kyle, Stan, or Kenny. The game has authoritive voices from the show, including Isaac Hayes as Chef! The game also stays true to the show with it's language. Some phrases are still "bleeped" out, but most not. I also would like to add, it makes well use of the Nintendo 64's Expansion Pack. Every time you complete a level in the one player mode, you recieve a code to get a new person in multiplayer mode. You can also save your game. The plot is basically this: Every 999 years, a giant comet approaches earth. Well, it's coming again, and this time it's heading towards South Park. This causing all sorts of things to happen, like causing the turkeys to revolt. You must pick up toys (weapons) and gadgets (power-ups) including mr. hankey, to save south park. There are 5 episodes, each with a different problem (i.e. turkeys revolting) to fix. The Sound is good, although most of it is rude comments. The bad quality to that is there is hardly any music throughout the game. The graphics are great, what you'd expect from a N64 game. The weapons, which are mostly all comical, are a nice touch. As for the replayibility value, It is a game that can be played over and over again. The control, has 2 methods to choose from. You can choose from Turok (to-rock) style controls, or Goldeneye (brown-eye) style. The gameplay is good, although the AI stays virtually the same throughout the game. The multiplayer mode is a goldeneye style deathmatch. You choose from one of twenty people, that is, if you have the skill to beat the game!
