"Poker Purists Only!"

Graphics: 8: All the cards look pretty good like in all poker games. All the characters in the game look pretty good as well. All the card game boards lok pretty good as well, especially the craps table.

Sound: 8: The game makes use of a lot of voice from all the card game hosts calling the game down the line(I.E. in blackjack the host is like, player 1: 15; player 1 hit; player 1 total 22; player 1 bust.) All the sound effects are done good like the slots.

Gameplay: 8: Well basically, all you do here is stay at the fabulous Golden Nugget hotel and the game is set at the casino. You're given a certain amount of money and you try to make as much as you can at various types of poker games. The game saves all your money earnings after each round on your controller pak. The game isn't really easy at first because I found myself going bankrupt a lot. Some of the games are Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, 5 Card Draw, 5 Card Studd, Slots, Video Poker. There are lots of other type of poker games as well.

Replay Value: 8: The game can be played by up to 4 player, unfortuanately about only 3 or 4 of the 12 or 13 poker games are multiplayer compatible which are Blackjack, Craps, and 5 Card Studd. The game is a blast in 1 player mode, but kinda gets frustrating after a while once you go bankrupt all the time. Multiplayer gaming is fun too, but could've been better if a few more games supported multiplayer as well. And with the game saving all your scores automatically after each round you can turn off the game once you start to do pretty bad.

Overall: 8: The game is a pretty fun package overall, both 1 and multiplayer player modes, but you kinda stop playing the game after a couple weeks and start playing other games. Not that this game is bloring or anything, I mean, anybody can pick up and play this game, but I reccommend it for the fans of poker, because I think the average gamer will get bored of it within a couple of weeks like me.
