"Not as good as the Playstation version"

If your reading this then you probably know what football management games are about so I wont go into huge detail. To answer the question that most people ask ''Can you play games in it?'' quite simply no and many people turn their noses up at a management game as soon as you say that. Whilst I love football games sometimes you cant beat trying to take your team to victory in the various cups. You can choose from any English team in The Premiership,Division 1,2 & 3 to manage and you can play a load of other Europeon teams. You try to win as many cups as you can these include the league title, FA Cup, League Cup and Super League. Winning these isnt just a matter of buying the best players you have to use tactics to win your matches and the game isnt actually that easy at all.

Graphics:
You dont buy this game for amazing 3-D graphics and the only example I can think of is watching highlights of the matches and come to think of it those are pretty poor. As are the graphics while setting up the game but if you take note of the graphics in a game like this you are pretty fussy.

Sound:
Once again I have to admit the sound is pretty dull, boring and repetitive but once again you are not buying this for sound and there isnt much sound in it anyway. Jus the backround music and a few sound effects, they have done their best at making good music and if you really find it that bad turn the sound down. The highlights commentary is from Barry Davies which is pretty good.

Difficulty:
This depends which team your are if your Arsenal or Manchester United you have more chance of glory then Plymouth Argyle and Halifax Town BUT this game is by no means a walk over and can change in the space of minutes. You can be top of the league and cruising in the knockout cups and then get one injury in defence and let in a ton of goals, meaning you need to take your time and buy backup players incase something like this happens.

Length:
You cant complete it and this is the games main strong point, try and win all the cups in one season and the game will last forever, try and complete a season will take less than an hour. You can constantly increase your teams strength and absolutely no team in the game is unbeatable so you will always have a challenge and not every game is a definite win. Oh and you can make it last for even longer by trying to buy the best player on the game Ronaldo from Inter Milan this will require huge success in your team and huge lack of success in Inter Milan as well as a £85,000,000 offer to Inter Milan and £70,000 wages for Ronaldo.

Overall:
If your into football then get it because you will enjoy it as long as you have patience, you wont just put it into the N64 and win the Super League everything takes time. Its not the hardest game to find especially on the internet and your not buying it for gun blasting mayhem but this fantastic game proves that you dont need a robot with 20 different guns to produce edge of the seat action and a game can be addictive without including a yellow alien eating monster.
