This is a translated special moves list for the Japanese BETA version of KOF2001.
It's still incomplete, but I'm working on it. :)
Some things might change in the final verson, who knows..



Important notes:

A     = Light Punch
B     = Light Kick
C     = Hard Punch
D     = Hard Kick

Q     = Quarter
H     = Half
C     = Circle

Fwd   = Forward
Bk    = Back
Dwn   = Down
DP    = Dragon Punch Motion (Fwd, Dwn, Dwn Fwd)
RPD   = Reverse DP
DM    = Desperation Move (A special attack, inevitable; one Power Gauge stock needed)
SDM   = Super Desperation Move (A special attack, inevitable; two Power Gauge stock needed)
sim.  = simultaneously



Basic Special Moves:

Front Dash                              : Fwd, Fwd
Back Step                               : Bk, Bk
Guard Cancel                            : When blocking, press AB (1 Power Gauge stock needed)
Emergency Evade                         : Fwd or Bk + AB sim.
                                          (if 1 Gauge stock Guard Cancel possible)
Heavy Attack                            : press CD sim.
                                          (if 1 Gauge stock Guard Cancel possible)
Striker Call (1 Gauge stock)            : press BC sim.
Cancel Striker                          : press BC sim. when hitting
Throw                                   : Fwd or Bk + C or D
Throw Escape                            : Fwd or Bk + C or D
                                          While being thrown (except special kill)
Falling Recovery                        : press AB sim. before slamming on the ground
Guard Flip                              : Make foe guard consecutively



Team member selection:

Up to three strikers can be chosen.

if you choose:

- 1 Char and 3 Strikers = 4 Gauge stock maximum

- 2 Chars and 2 Strikers = 3 Gauge stock maximum

- 3 Chars and 1 Striker = 2 Gauge stock maximum

- 4 Chars = 1 Gauge stock maximum
