"This is the legendary game that started the video and computer gaming era."

I'd give the third Super Mario game an eleven if I could. The gameplay is superb, and the audio/video are tremendous, considering the technology that was out when the game was made. Also, I still haven't beaten it yet in ten years because it is so hard. Some people may disagree with me, but I find that the eighth world is extremely hard. I got this game when it first came out, and it was pretty cheap, if I remember correctly. Read on to discover more about this amazing game.

The Graphics are fantastic, taking into consideration the amount of technology Nintendo had when developing this game. They are crisp, clear, and very easy to distinguish between different objects and tell what some things are, unlike a lot of other games for NES that came out when SMB3 came out.

The Sound and Music are really kind of standard for an NES game. They are clear, though, and I can always tell whenever I do something because the game makes a noise for EVERYTHNG that Mario does.

The Controls are some of simplest I have ever witnessed in my entire gaming career. One button jumps, one button runs, and of course there's the directional pad to control Mario. It fits perfectly and comfortably into your hand, no matter how big or how small, and you basically do not notice the controls because you're so engrossed in the gameplay :-)

The Story is very involved and detailed. I cannot believe how detailed it is for and NES game. You are Mario, a little plumber who loves Princess Toadstool. The Princess is kidnapped by the evil Bowser, king of the Koopas, and it is up to you to save her. This is exactly what ninety-five percent of all Mario games are based on, and somehow, miraculously, it never dies.

The Difficulty is very hard. I have had the game for over ten years, and still have yet to beat it. The difficulty is derived mainly from the fact that SMB3 has no save feature. This is good, in a way, because if it did, I would beat the game in approximately twenty minutes.

The Replay Value, as you could probably tell from the fact that it has taken me over ten years to beat the game, that it is outstanding. Also, you're probably asking yourself, ''Why would anyone want to play a game for game for ten whole years and still not beat it?'' This is not true of SMB3. There is something about it that never takes the fun out of it. You would most likely have to play it to experience this feeling.

Overall, I believe that SMB3 is the game that started the video and computer gaming revolution. Forget Sega, Sony, and all of those other game companies; Nintendo is the master of video gaming.
