WWF Wrestlemania Challenge
Review by Gruel
"Another great WWF game by LJN"
Graphics: 8: You had a unique diamond view of the ring(the only other wrestling game to do this was WCW Superbrawl Wrestling for Super NES and Geneseis) The wrestlers were detailed nicely and looked like their real-life counterparts.
Sound: 8: This was a cool part of the game, the game would play the wrestlers music of whoever was in the ring, and if a wrestler tagged out his partner's music would play that wrestlers music. It added some glitz to the game.
Gameplay: 8:This game featured some finishers for some of the wrestlers, but not all. The game featured a nice variety of modes at the time: Singles, Singles Championship, Tag Team, Tag Team Championship, and Survivor Series(3-on-3 elimination for this game, not 4-on-4) The game featured 9 wrestlers: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, The Big Boss Man, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, "Macho King" Randy Savage, and "Ravishing" Rick Rude, plus a fake wrestler labeled as "Yourself."
Replay Value: 7: What made me stick to this game was the 2-player tag team champioship mode, and doing 2-player survivor series mode. I always enjoyed beating my little brother in this game.
Overall: 8: This was one good wrestling game for the NES; a few more wrestlers would've been nice. There are plenty of moves for each wrestler. I would reccomend this game to any old NES gamers.
