Introduction

What is “Cliff Hanger”? I know, do you? Well, Cliff Hanger is about some guy who is lost in the snowy mountain because his plane crash. Wow, it sounds so much like some movie I saw, shall we say the movie with that Rambo guy? Maybe its base off from that movie, or the movie stole the idea from this game or it’s a movie to video games translation. That’s interesting thought! Anyway, cliff hanger is a very interesting game, namely because its an adventure game that involves a story line which is rare in the era of NES.

I first picked up this game and I didn’t know what to expect, but I was amazed at his game. Not because it was so cool and original, but because its so mediocre that surprised me! Hmm, that didn’t make sense, does it? Anyway, this is just your average adventure game with nothing new to tinker with nor is there anything appealing for me to report o you. So … lets go on with the review and I’ll tell you what this game is about, the game play and even the conclusion!

Game Play

The game play for this game. Oh right, for those of you who missed it earlier, this game is about some dude who plane crash and that he must survive in the snowy mountain place. This setting is possibly in Russia or something, but interesting that you don’t fight any humans in the game (maybe Russians in fur coat) but rather you fight with animals in the game.

The main character in the game is some guy with a beard and he knows how to kick in the game and nothing else. Yup, you heard me. He only knows hot to kick, but not punch nor choke the animals in the game. Oh yeah, he doesn’t carry any guns in the game too so you can shoot the animal and eat it for meat. the guy wears this ugly green overall in the game and I don’t know why he is wearing s sleeveless shirt because it must be really cold in the mountains.

To be honest, I don’t know why the guy is called (or the game shall I say) called cliff hanger. Through out the game, the guy doesn’t hang on any cliffs at al! all he does he jump from one cliff to another, and he can kick the birds in midair like the Matrix. Note that the guy in the game jumps pretty high for the moral human.

The enemies in the game are birds, wolves, this fire place, and more birds. I wonder why the birds in the game dive and try to attack you because they seem to be very evil in the game. Anyway, there are many ways to die in the game which includes jumping to this pit with spikes or getting enough damage to die.

Conclusion

This game isn’t good and I don’t like it. I have to give this game a very low mark because I don’t like and it possibility doesn’t like me. I don’t know and I don’t care, because a nihilist gamer like me knows that this game is nothing more then escape from the mundane reality. Thus ends my review.
