Review by Ryan Gillam

"So the Seal of Quality means nothing anymore??"

Since Nintendo games were released they have always had the "seal of quality" this I thought meant it was good game, this game proved me wrong, they must have paid a lot of money for Nintendo to actually release this game, at least there were a lot of other NES games to cover up this faliure, shame Nintendo let it happen again with another game of the same type.

Graphics, well I think the also falls under map size. The map size is no where the size of disneyland and is not even the same layout as it, if your going to promote a theme park at least do it right. The man looks all American with his hat, which actually looks quite cool. There are 2 views, side view and top down. The top down view is used when walking around the theme park, which looks quite bland with a few buildings dotted around, and strangley some of the NPC's are bigger than the castle. The buildings do not look right, the haunted house looks like a block, and the castle looks nothing like what we are used to. The side-scrolling view used in the levels looks nice, the backdrops are more detailed and look like where you are meant to be. The things that you kill also look more detailed, in fact, they look so detailed, you will die because they look better than your sprite.

Sounds, not too good. Ok for a NES game, but don't expect something that equals the Mario tune or the Pokemon one, but then again most of the NES games have bad sound, this is no exception.

The story is aimed at younger audiences, Mickey and friends want to start a parade but the gate is locked so you have to go to different attractions to get the keys to open it. The story is simple but it does what it has to do and that is to enthrall the young ones.

Game Play. The one way that a game can fail. The Game is quite simple but that is because of the young people it is aimed at. Everything is the same, the type of levels and what you have to do. It is short and not sweet. The map area is small, but the controls are easy to learn so that is a plus. This is no more than an advertising game, trying to rake in money at the same time.

Final Say:

Avoid at all costs. This game should not be purchased, there are plenty of decent Disney games, this is not one of them. In the future look out for the Nintendo Seal of Quality and remember that logo is not everything.
