  • 2nd Level

    At the first scene of the intro sequence (the trees), wait for the text to appear and press A 7 times on the 2nd controller before the text stops. Start your game and you should be at level 2.

  • Ending

    At the intro sequence, press Left and Right on the 2nd controller at the same time. This is impossible to do on a normal controller, but achievable on special Famicom controllers.

  • Extra Gold

    At the second scene of the intro sequence (the village), wait for the text to appear and press A 2 times on the 2nd controller before the text stops. Start your game and you should have more gold.

  • Hidden Map

    At the third scene of the intro sequence (the eye), wait for the text to appear and press A 3 times on the 2nd controller before the text stops. Start your game and you'll be able to view the map by pressing Up on controller 2.

Secrets

  • Bonus Coins

    When you see the village appear on screen, press A 2x on Controller #2 and press Start on Controller #1 to get some bonus coins when you start the game. (This is all in the opening part of the game).
