Review by Overlord Hikash

"Don't get me wrong...I like this game...but..."

I really like Elevator Action. I always have...but that doesn't make it a good game, When it comes right down to it, this is a terrible game. There is seemingly no story, the gameplay is bland, and the graphics are horrible.

Story: As said before, there is no real story as I can see it. You're a spy of some sort...or a thief. You're stealing stuff from the red doors, and avoiding or shooting the guys from the blue doors. Fun.

Gameplay: Simple enough. Move with the pad, shoot with one button and jump with the other. You'll be pressing up at red doors to go in them and get whatever it is you're after. This is automatic, mind you. As enemies come out of the blue doors, you can duck or jump their slow moving bullets and shoot them back. You'll use elevators as your mode of transportation down this tower. You can also shoot the lights that are ceiling suspended, doing almost nothing at all as a result.

Graphics: HORRIBLE! It's about a 6 color scheme. I mean...there isn't really much I can say here. Terrible, terrible graphics....ugh. The entire tower is a single color, and your person I believe is three. One for his body, one for face, and one for hair. Of course, the doors are a different color, and then there are the red doors. Really nothing special.

Sound: The music is stuck in my head as a write this. Can it even be called music? Maybe...more like a few beeps in a moderately sensical order. Gods...I can't stress enough how bad this game is! The sad thing is, as I said before, it's catchy. It's almost guaranteed to get stuck in your head...and you'll hate yourself for it. Damn you, Elevator Action!

Replayability: Every level is almost the same...so you're living replayability as you play it the first time. Almost Zero replayability. Aster the first three levels, just stop playing...for your sake.

Fun Factor: Very little...but there is some. The first level, you may find fun in the games simplicity. After that though, I doubt even the sturdiest gamer could stand this for too long without a mental breakdown.

Buy or Rent? If you like bad games, like I occasionally do...go ahead and buy it. Borrow it from a friend first, to see if it's going to be worth your time.

In closing, unless you're a fan of terrible games, avoid this at all cost. Avoid it like a plague!
