"The best side scroller for NES."

This 1989 classic is the best side-scroller of its time.

Graphics- 7/10- The graphics are good for 1989. Yet, they're still real grainy making it hard to see after a period of time.

Music/Sound- 8/10- The music in this game is pretty great and so is the sound.

Plot- 10/10- The plot is really good for a side-scroller. Ryu Hayabusa is a ninja from Japan. His father was killed in a duel recently. He is going to America to find Dr. Walter Smith as his father's last letter wished.

Fun- 8/10- This game is a blast to play!! The controls are easy to learn and to use. The only problem is it is a very hard game.

Overall-8/10- This is a great game which spawned four other great games. It belongs in any NES collection.
