"Not good..."

Nokia barred SEGA from releasing this title in Europe and America, as the N-Gage was getting bad press for having poor quality ports and games. I managed to get a hold of this game new on i-tec.com and I can safely say Nokia did the right move in banning this game from coming to the USA/EU, as it is just rubbish.

Graphics: 3
Whilst the graphics are ok, the frame rate is horrid. It is as poor as Red Factions. Although admittedly the details of the textures are ok. But after I've seen Tomb Raider, the frame rate is only due to bad coding.
Also the menu's seem to navigate very slowly. For example, I would press down and it would take a little longer than expected for the option to select, and it has to load the sub-menu's - a bit like in Virtual Tennis.

Sound: 3
The sound is bland. All the cars sound the same to me, and they don't sound very realistic either. I have never played the Arcade/Saturn/PC version of this game so I don't know if it's the same for those versions too.

Music: 2
Not much music here. There's some in the menu's but it's neither catchy nor is it very long.

Control: 4
The controls are very basic and responsive. But there is no option to change the sharpness of the turning. So SEGA 'cleverly' decided to make the turning really sharp so turning a small curve is probably the hardest thing to do.

Game Play: 1
This game sucks. I can honestly say this is the worst game for the N-Gage. It's short, easy, boring and slow.

SEGA have done a lazy job at putting their titles on the N-Gage, and it shows as all their games on this system, except for Pocket Kingdom, have either had things removed or was just badly done.This game is EXTREMELY hard to find if you're in the EU/USA, but unless you're a serious game collector, like me, I say don't bother with it.

SEGA have done it again, they ported another game on the N-Gage, badly.
