Heretic II

"One Of The Best Third Person Perspective Games Of All Time"
Introduction
This game was released on October 31, 1998 for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
Story
Corvus The Heretic Sidhe (She its pronounced) Elf returns to his home after he defeated the weakest Serpent Rider D'Spiral. When Coruvs returned home, he found that his world was covered by a magical plague. From then Corvus, goes out on a quest to get rid of this plague.
Graphics
The graphics are... well it depends on what render your using. If your in software mode it depends on what resolution its on. In software mode, the lighting effects are not realistic at all but that can be changed. There's a render mode called "Open-GL". This "Open-GL" in this game helps its graphics and lighting effects. The graphic will then be very smooth and the lighting effects will be Incredibly realistic. Use it just make sure your computer is powerful and your monitor is a good size. Also in this game, are well thought out level deigns. The ony thing I saw wrong with the graphics is when the characters speak there mouths don't move at all. They should have made them move.
Audio
The audio is excellent. The SFX and music goes in with the game perfectly. The music can be listened to on a CD player.
Controls
The controls are not hard to use at all. Its easy to move around and fight your enemies. The gymnastic moves you can do are easy to do. There are no flaws in the controls.
Gameplay
The gameplay is great. I believe the time it takes for it to complete the game is about.... seven hours. Its not really long at all. The part in the gameplay that makes it so great it the combat you do with the enemies. The battles easy and there not hard. But that depends on what difficultly you set it on. There is a good amount of things you do in the game but I don't feel like explaining it. There are no camera problems at all. The camera is always is back of Corvus but you can change that and its really annoying if you do.
Conclusion
This is an excellent game with many great features. If you see it and you know a bit about the Serpent Rider series buy it. It shouldn't cost a lot at all. I only paid like $6 for it and it was worth every penny.
