"Lara? Are you sure that you should be holding that? Give it here? Huh? No. NOOOOOOOO!"

Tomb Raider 2 Gold is a continuation of the traditional gold series, where 4-5 expert levels are made for a new adventure. Just like it's predecessors Shadow of the cat and Unfinished business, this has all of the tricks and traps the original Tomb Raider 2 has, but this has a slightly better story.

Story: 8/10: While the story is never told to you in the game, like the other golds, there is a story. The game's real name is Tomb Raider 2: The Golden Mask. This mask was found in the Bering Sea, during the cold war. This mask has the powers of reanimation, and is sought after by several people. After getting the mask, you must escape from being the sacrifice of sasquatchs.

Graphics: 9/10: Unlike the first Tomb Raider Gold, the graphics are not all the same. There are new environments, new textures, even a few new enemies.

Controls: 10/10: The same as the original. Easy to learn, easy to use. Alt makes Lara Croft jump, space bar readies weapons, control fires, grabs, and pulls, numeric 0 looks, escape pauses, end flips, shift walks, and the numbers select weapons. While this may sound like a lot, it's all very conveniently placed.

Music and sound: 10/10: These are still the same. Music gives the game just the right feel, and the sounds are great.

Gameplay: 10/10: While still the same gameplay as before, these levels have a different feel. This one has 3 environments: The Bering sea, A strange jungle, and Las Vegas. This has interesting new challenges, an example being in level 3: You have to carefully make your way up a river of molten gold. There's also the said new enemies, and not just sprite changes.

Difficulty: Medium hard: While not as hard as the previous gold, this can get very tough, especially if you want to unlock level 5.

Conclusion: 9/10: While slightly easier than the previous one, this is still free, so give it a try!
