"The addictive Dino Hunting Game!!!!!"

Introduction – This game seems real shallow at first and you think to yourself, “after I kill a T-Rex, I never play this again!” The truth is, after you finally get the T-Rex, you won't stop. You will keep playing and playing and probably buy all of the sequels. This game is slow at first but then you will love it.

Story 5/10 – You were hired by DinoHunt Inc. to hunt dinosaurs on a planet they wanted to strip for resources. You have to sign a form stating that they can't be held accountable if you are killed. It is a quick story and the game spends little time on it. The story was probably an after thought of the producers.

Gameplay 9/10 – The part that grabs hold of you and induces the addiction factor of this game is the gameplay. It is enjoyable yet there is a steep difficulty level. I have already beaten the game and I still get scared when a velociraptor ambushes me. You think you have the hang of killing the dinosaurs when you get a dinosaur with each shot, but then the next dinosaur seems impossible to kill. You will always be looking for different strategies after killing a species once. You can play this game without the disk and it keeps going pretty well. There are a few minor glitches that are annoying but overall it has great gameplay. You can keep you favorite dinosaurs as hunting trophies too! They let you keep 24 dinos! The game is a good simulator. You can call the dinosaurs and they come, based on the degree of volume of the call and their location. The AI for the dinosaurs is very believable. They run when you come near and they stay away and run from predators. I've never seen a dinosaur get eaten, but I wouldn't be surprised if it can happen.

Graphics 7/10 – The textures look very real when you compare them to games today. The underwater textures also look realistic and the plants are well made. The only problem is major popup problems. You can be walking and a mountain pops up into your face. When you look down towards your feet while moving, the ground looks like it slides to side from side.

Sound 8/10 – The calls for the dinos are amazingly realistic. They are clear and sound perfect. The background noise is good too. It isn't overdone. Sometimes, when you click the button to hunt, the noise is repeated over and over for about five seconds. Also when you leave a hunt.

Replaybility 10/10 – I have beaten this game three times and I still play for hours a day. I love it!

Rent or Buy – You have to buy it to play it.

Overall – Story 5/10
Gameplay 9/10
Graphics 7/10
Sound 8/10

Overall 8/10
